The sphinx

The Sphinx is a creature in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. In Somnambula's legend, the sphinx menaces a desert village and claims most of its crops for herself. When the son of the pharaoh stands up to the sphinx, she captures him and challenges the other villagers with a riddle for his release. Somnambula beats the sphinx's riddle challenge as well as her blindfolded bridge-walking challenge, and the sphinx flies off in a rage. She is massive she's from My Little pony she's a mix of a pony and a cat she is the Spanx she won't play with her food by either asking riddles if they get it right they survive if they don't she'll eat them she has sharp teeth if she can chew on you she'll just swallow you home her internals her tongue is Orange she likes to eat her taste or show her affection she loves to be pet might spare you if you do that her stomach is full of gold coins cuz that's what she eats she eats gold and treasure on a facts and adventure to DARE come across her path so he might see a lot of Bones goals and stuff like that the slime in her stomach is green and so is the acid or else it takes a while to break down and besides actually painful until my own she has a cruel personality aggressive like a school bully if she likes you she will show her affection most being sweet kind and generous she also enjoys playing games with her prey like a cat would play with a mouse throwing them in the air making them scurry The Sphinx that appears within the legend of Somnambula is presented as a very large, imposing creature. She is easily large enough to crush a pony under one of her paws, and is described as having the head of a pony, the body of a prime lion, the wings of a mighty eagle, and eyes of amber.

Much of her outfit resembles that of ancient pharaohs: a golden crown on her head, black mascara under her eyes, a yellow necklace and straps on one leg, and a singular purple strap on the other. Her dark indigo hair is smoothed and evened out just passed her neck.

Personality The Sphinx is a very tyrannical and uncaring creature, demanding the crops from the villages she rules with little concern of their own lives compared to her own. She is also highly aggressive, and prone to violent tempers and rage is things don't go her way.

Although cruel and violent, she is also compelling and clever, infamous for her riddles that many can't solve.

History According to the Somnambula story told by Starlight Glimmer, the Sphinx arrived within Somnambula's village in a line of other villages, each one prior unable to stand up against the creature. During her stay within a nearby pyramid, she constantly demanded an amount of their crop for herself, or otherwise be taken away as one of her prisoners. One say, Prince Hisan confronted her, stating they will no longer give her any food. Enraged, she kidnapped him and told his father that the only way to save him is to solve her riddle. Somnambula confronted the Sphinx, and she told the Pegasus her riddle, to which Somnambula answered correctly much to her rage. Given a chance for another test, the Sphinx instructed Somnambula to simply walk to the prince, but handicapped by the inability to fly and being blindfolded doing so. On seeing her complete it, the Sphinx fled the village for good. She loves being pet more than anything she'll probably spare you if you do it that's her secret weakness she hasn't had anything to eat for a long time so she's very hungry she wants to eat you she eats ponies and people in anything she can grab and people in anything she can grab she eats everything so everything is food and she will eat you she can breathe blue fire acid can meltdown treasure easily but living things it takes a whole day for them to be fully digested and they're still alive and it's painful he doesn't go to the bathroom ever because she doesn't have to but her abilities include breathing blue fire from her mouth breathing a gold mist that turns anything in the gold turning an invisible shrinking objects hypnotizing with her eyes practically being indestructible a quick healing Factor and if she does turn someone into a gold statue she can burn them with the blue fire which can turn someone to Ash in seconds but it will melt the golden she'll probably drink it her main source of food is treasure but if someone dares enters her territory they will meet a brutal end instructions along text storyline one she gets affection but the actual like a puppy and a pet she has a sticky orange tongue she eats or kills Intruders and thieves she is vorarephilia humans don't exist they only exist in fiction in this universe there is a lot of treasure in her stomach because it's her main source of food there are no bones in her stomach her real name is Jinxy sometimes we're just dramatics she'll heat up her breath until steaming she can control it
