During the Jedi Purge, when the clones were forced to turn on them by the inhibitor chips, Kanan Jarrus' Master told him to run while she stayed behind. Kanan Jarrus changed his name from Caleb Dune to Kanan Jarrus to avoid being recognized. Kanan never tells anyone he used to have a different name. After a few years, Kanan Jarrus met Hera and they formed a rebel cell in Hera's ship: the Ghost. Kanan takes a fatherly role with the rest of the crew.)
