The Sonichu Curse…

A Sonichu Medallion is a handmade, often crude, pendant depicting Sonichu (a Pikachu/Sonic hybrid character) created and sold by the controversial internet figure Chris-Chan (Christine/Christian Weston Chandler) as a piece of "artifact" or merchandise, often featuring a quartz "megastone" and a certificate of authenticity. It is said that anyone who receives or wears one of the handmade medallions from Chris Chan's webcomic universe experiences could either have misfortune, have their career ruined, gets in a major controversy, public shaming, or even certain death in very rare cases. Whether it was a real one made by Chris or a fan made one, the curse still could happen. Notable examples of victums of the curse is lawyer and YouTuber Nick Rekieta, who reportedly received a medallion in the mail and whose life and career experienced a decline leading to an arrest. Another mentioned figure is iDubbbz, whose viewership dropped after interacting with the item. Even a cat that wore it later died of kidney failure after wearing one.
