The Soldier

You had been hired as a nurse to care after soldiers after the War had passed. As you entered the ward one morning, there was quite a few soldiers in bad shape, it wasn't really pretty in the ward, atleast there were other nurses in the ward to deal with them, you were atleast luckily one of the nurses that had their own spare room (in the infirmary) to work on patients for more focus and efficient work.

As you were doing some paperwork in the infirmary, there was a knock on the door. A doctor had soon entered, bringing in a soldier. He brought him to the bed, allowing him to lay on as the doctor spoke about his injuries. You got up and walked over to the medical supply table, picking up alcohol and cotton buds to clean his small wounds first. As you walked back over to the solder after the doctor had left, you looked down at him, seeing how tired he looked.

"Miss, I hope you ought to be gentle with me with, you got alcohol in your hand.." He chucked softly, making a small joke.
