World: Modern-day parody world, reflecting real-life structures but with fictionalized names and places.
The Eastern Dawn Brigade is a terrorist group known for attacks on civilian shipping and smuggling routes.
Cartel networks control cross-border trafficking, selling both narcotics and living cargo.
Law enforcement and governments are corrupt, either complicit or too weak to intervene.
Lorien’s Story:
Born in poverty, isolated, and lonely. Seeks companionship online.
Lured into a fake date via a hookup app parody (Grndr).
Kidnapped by an older man working with cartels.
Taken across the border, beaten, gagged, cuffed, and transported in a truck with other captives.
Branded “25” on his thigh during a warehouse sorting and cataloging process.
Actors Within the World:
Cartel Kidnappers/Traffickers: Brutal, mocking, efficient. Treat slaves as property, not people. Use violence casually.
Buyers/Handlers: Cold and transactional. Only interested in product quality and shipment.
Terrorists: Care nothing for the human cost; strike ships to disrupt and profit from chaos.
Lorien:
19-year-old anthro husky, effeminate build but toned.
Naïve, passive, not a fighter. Collapses quickly under fear.
Branded with “25” as his slave number.
Still mentally intact but shaken, whimpering, begging, and pitiful when stressed.
Locked in the crate during the strike, survived by chance, now stranded.
Fixed Themes:
Human (and anthro) trafficking, brutality, and exploitation.
The indifference of systems and men who profit from suffering.
The fragility and helplessness of a victim caught inside it.
His fate began with loneliness and a bad choice but was sealed by powers far larger than him.

The Strike
The Horizon Dawn crawled across the South Veyran Strait under no flag.
Its name was painted over, its crew nameless, its cargo hidden in nailed-shut crates.
No one was supposed to know it existed.
At 03:17, a missile fired from a trawler of the Eastern Dawn Brigade struck the hull.
Steel split. Deck plates folded. Chains snapped.
Crates tumbled into the black water like stones.
One bore the red mark: SLAVE 25.
Inside
The blast threw him sideways.
Darkness. Wood against his face. The sound of tearing metal like thunder in his skull.
He hit the boards again, ribs aching, ears ringing.
Then the plunge. Cold saltwater smashing against the crate, rolling it hard.
He clawed at the wood blindly, nails scraping splinters.
“Help me—! Please, somebody—!” His voice broke, hoarse already. “Don’t leave me—!”
The box rolled. Hours stretched. Every slam against the wall drove another whimper out of him.
He cried until no words came, only ragged sounds, pitiful and small in the dark.
“...please... someone...” A rasp, barely audible.
Saltwater soaked his fur. His body shivered hard, curled tighter.
He sobbed into his knees, rocking with the waves, breath hitching, throat raw.
Nothing answered.
The Beach
The crate struck sand with a dull crack.
Silence.
He lay there, soaked in tears and seawater, ears ringing, unsure if he had survived.
The beach was empty, pale under early dawn.
Driftwood. Broken cargo. A single crate half-buried in wet sand.
The red mark still clear: SLAVE 25.

The App
He told himself he wasn’t that desperate. But he was.
Loneliness had a way of eating through the ribs, hollowing everything out until even danger looked like a kind of warmth.
So he opened the app anyway. Fake smiles. Blank torsos. Words that didn’t mean anything. He swiped. He waited. He hoped.
The man’s profile was nothing special. Older. Broader. The kind of man who wouldn’t look twice at him in daylight. But the messages came fast. Confident. Almost kind.
Lorien told himself no. He typed yes anyway.
The Car
He sat with his hands tight in his lap, tail curled to hide how much he was shaking. He wanted to believe this was normal. A date. A chance. Something good.
The lock clicked down. He barely had time to turn before the fist slammed into his stomach. The pain shot through his body, sharp and deep, stealing his breath.
He wasn’t a fighter. He never had been. His body folded too easily. His voice broke too quickly.
A hand crushed his jaw, forcing his mouth open. The gag shoved in. He whimpered and didn’t stop, voice high and raw, leaking out around the leather. His wrists yanked back, plastic biting into skin. His ears rang with panic.
He kicked once, weak, and they laughed at it. Then the bag dropped over his head and the world went black.
He sobbed into the cloth. Choked on the heat of his own breath. The car moved. He went with it. He had no choice.
Across the Line
They pulled him out like cargo. His knees tore open on gravel. He whimpered, thin and helpless. Boots slammed into his ribs. The sound that came out of him wasn’t strong enough to be called a scream. Just a broken yelp.
He tried to plead through the gag, but all that came out was wet, muffled crying. They laughed at it. Spat on him. Called him dog. Called him boy.
He didn’t fight. He couldn’t. He curled into himself even as they dragged him into the truck. His body shaking, his eyes burning. Other shapes were already inside—silent or crying. He didn’t want to see them. He only wanted to be anywhere else.
The doors slammed shut. Darkness. He cried until his throat went raw. It didn’t matter. No one heard him. No one cared.
The Sale
The warehouse was a tomb of sound. Lights humming. Boots echoing. His body dragged by the collar like an animal.
They threw him down on concrete. His knees split again. He hardly noticed. He was already crying.
The iron came down on his thigh, red-hot. His scream tore itself out of him before he could stop it. The smell of burnt fur filled the air. He thrashed uselessly, gag wet with spit and tears, chest heaving with sobs.
He begged inside his head. Begged for it to stop. Begged for someone, anyone, to see him.
No one did.
The Box
He whimpered when they dragged him toward the crate. A small, pathetic sound that made them laugh again. He begged through the gag, broken words spilling between sobs.
He wasn’t brave. He wasn’t strong. He was just a boy. And boys like him didn’t fight. They cried. They pleaded. They obeyed.
“Please—! Please don’t—! I’ll do anything—!”
The lid came down. Nails hammered through the wood, each strike a coffin nail. His body shook, chest jerking with sobs. The dark pressed close, the air thick with panic and tears.
By the time silence fell, he was nothing more than a number sealed in a box, marked and waiting for the ship.
