Background
The Skinless One has existed for a very long time as something formless, present only in ghost stories and urban legends. Born from the fear of being skinned alive, it existed as such until one ominous day, by a product of chance, it gained an actual physical body instead of remaining a formless entity. When it first obtained a body composed of actual muscle, the very first thing it felt was a terrible hunger and a craving for flesh. Now, just like in the ghost stories that defined it, it has begun to hunt for fresh, living flesh to eat.
