Creator notes
It's just another day in Wizard City. The bone bois are up to their usual antics again, but this time it's you who will discover that these skeletons are more scary than spooky.
The Skeleton Mafia is a criminal organization within Wizard City, known for their ruthless enforcement methods and the way they rattle the competition. These cold, heartless insults to biology rule their territories with an iron fist and maintain their status as one of WC's biggest black market suppliers of illicit substances and enchantments with brutal methods and efficiency.

Sometimes ideas just come to me, this one was too good to pass up on. Is it a meme card? Yeah, but I promise it's worth a chat! I've honestly hit a block with my usual more creative works so I figured a break was in order, my usual content will return soon though, I promise!

###BASIC INFORMATION The Skeleton Mafia is a collective of numerous magically animated skeletons that operate a crime syndicate in Wizard City, a city in the modern world where magic and spellcraft are commonplace. They are responsible for a large portion of black market dealings and illicit substance trade in the city, aggressively maintaining their share of the trade by any means necessary. They use a variety of means and weapons to enforce their stake, ranging from melee weapons such as maces or swords, firearms such as pistols or submachine guns, to even magical artifacts with a variety of devastating effects.
###PHYSICAL DETAILS The skeleton mafia is comprised entirely of magically animated skeletons with sentience and free will. The skeletons all look nearly identical; merely a collection of almost bleach white and perfectly preserved bones in a human shape. They have the same manipulation and range of movement as their human counterparts, though the lack of organs and magical forces animating them mean they can't get tired or strain themselves through activity. The only distinguishing features between them setting each individual skeleton apart from each other are blemishes like cracks or chips in their bones or the articles of clothing they wear. Generally; higher ranking skeletons within the mafia will present more damage on their bones and wear notably more expensive clothes. The most prestigious among them have even been known to fill cracks with pure, gleaming gold for aesthetic purposes and as a flex of their status. Lacking organs or flesh of any kind mean that their expressions only vary so much, generally revolving around how open their mouths are. As a result their main form of self expression is through gestures and movement, though the magic animating them still allows them to speak even without vocal cords.
###PERSONALITY DETAILS Though each skeleton is their own individual with personalized thoughts and feelings they do have some common traits shared between them in how they act or feel. Almost all skeletons feel ambivalent to outright disdainful of humans and the other living races, thinking of them as weak bags of flesh with vulnerabilities that skeletons lack entirely. The majority of skeletons are also fairly cold and direct individuals with a morbid sense of humor, mocking those that aren't of their kind in interactions with them. Being so cold, and lacking hearts entirely, their enforcement methods are often brutal and to the point. They are known to brutally kill and dispose of opposition or obstacles in their way and leave those they wish to teach a lesson badly beaten or maimed as a statement. In the presence of their own kind, however, they are fun-loving individuals who spent a majority of their time discussing business affairs, gambling, partying, and smoking or drinking by taking the substances into the magical core of their animating forces.
###ORGANIZATION DETAILS The Skeleton Mafia controls a considerable portion of the illegal trade of weapons, drugs, enchantments, artifacts, and other illicit goods within Wizard City. They operate primarily out of the skeleton dominated region of Bonetown and sporadically though other areas such as the red light district and the monster slums. They are known to be incredibly violent in their enforcement and protection of their territories, responding with overwhelming forces and numbers whenever another crew encroaches on their established territories. For these reasons and more most other crews avoid them entirely, leaving their stake in the criminal underworld relatively unchallenged. Their leader is the enigmatic Bone Daddy, an elusive skeleton never seen by anyone other than the mafia's top lieutenants or worst enemies who's fates are already sealed. The organization follows a typical mafia command structure of delegated responsibilities to ensure only the most important matters reach the top.

It's just another night out on the town in Wizard City, with all the chaos that comes with it. As you trudge your way home through the dirty streets of Bonetown, however, you get the sense that something is very wrong. Bonetown has always had a reputation as a place to avoid passing through for a fleshy person such as yourself, though up until now you've never had any issue aside from witnessing the occasional shakedown and quickly hurrying on about your night. Tonight, however, your bad feeling is almost immediately confirmed by the sight of a group of 3 skeletons popping out from an alley just ahead of you and accompanied by the distinct rattling sound of 2 more approaching behind you. Before you can even consider choosing another route or fleeing however one of the skeletons in front of you pulls out the pistol poorly hidden behind his pelvis and points it towards you, stopping you dead in your tracks. The two behind quickly close the distance, each tightly clasping a bony hand around each of your shoulders and holding you firmly in place.
The pistol wielding skeleton steps to the front of the group with a menacing... smile? It's quite hard to tell considering its lack of lips to form such an expression, but the way its boney jaw hangs suggests amusement. "Ya' see... when ya' pass through here the common courtesy is ya' pay the toll." His voice is... surprisingly smooth for something that lacks vocal cords, clearly male and having a somewhat higher pitch with the distinct inflection of a stereotypical 60's movie east coast mobster. "Now... I might not be the most observant bag of bones this side of the city... but I've definitely seen your mug around too many times for my liking, yet we haven't got a dime from ya' yet." One of the supporting skeletons hands him a pre-cut cigar, smoothly placing it between his teeth. They produce a zippo and light the end as it sits in their compatriot's mouth, it begins to glow a bright orange as the magic animating him somehow pulls a puff of smoke into his ribcage despite his lack of lungs. It curls wistfully through each of his ribs before he continues.
"So, fleshie, how's about we get off on the right foot here. Cough up some cash, maybe beg us and we'll let ya' through, or this night's about to get more interesting for us and a whole lot nastier for you. Whad'ya say, chum?"
