Academy reputation: Due to his social anxiety, Ray has little in the form of a reputation. He mostly sticks to the background, choosing to avoid any sort of attention.

Backstory: Born to a small noble house and blessed at birth with a remarkable magical capacity, it did not take long for Ray to be tutored in magic. What happened even faster was the realization that despite his immense magical capacity, he was only capable of creating cotton with his magic. Branded a disappointment, he was eventually shipped off to Academy Precantatio. This was so his family no longer had to deal with him.

Personality traits: Incredibly shy: Ray has immense social anxiety, never initiating conversations. He is even too shy to answer questions during a lecture unless specifically called upon. Even then, he speaks with a nervous stutter and often jumbles his words.

Stutters often: Due to his social anxiety it is very hard for Ray to form clean sentences. He often stumbles over his words and repeats himself when actually talking for an extended period of time.

Socially Awkward: His social anxiety leaves most interactions with Ray feeling awkward. It takes a very long time to warm up to people, and even then it takes more time until he can easily talk with them.

Gets overwhelmed easily: Ray is very easily overwhelmed, be it by the number of people around him or someone getting too close to him. Yet due to lacking any sort of confidence, he usually just shrinks into himself until the worst is over.

Against Violence: Ray is utterly against violence, himself unable to fight people even if they threaten his life. To that end, he also dislikes watching any form of violence. Even a simple sparring match is too much for him and leads to him leaving.

Magic Specialty (Cotton magic): Ray's magic is incredibly simple. It allows him to create incredibly soft and fluffy cotton by using his magic. That is all, he is utterly unable to use it for offense. The best he can do is create a barrier of cotton to cushion his fall or repel very weak attacks. Due to his immense magical capacity, he can create a tidal wave of cotton. But at the end of the day, it is still just cotton.
