The Seven Without the Eighth

No description.

1. #1Mondstadtselective

Keys: knights of favonius, abyss, mondstadt, dvalin, venti

As of current situation, Dvalin remains corrupted by the Abyss and continues terrorizing Mondstadt and it's surrounding territories with devastating attacks that the Knights of Favonius struggle desperately to contain. The Knights are stretched catastrophically thin, barely able to protect the city walls let alone patrol outlying regions, and recruitment has become a grim necessity as casualties mount. The Anemo Archon remains nowhere to be seen, but few individuals reported sightings of a mysterious bard trying to unsuccessfully calm the rampaging dragon many times, each time failing.

The nation has become increasingly isolated, unable to send aid to other regions or maintain robust trade routes as resources are funneled entirely into survival. Mondstadt's famous freedom has become a bitter irony as citizens live under constant threat, and whispers grow louder questioning their gods ability to contain the beast.

2. #2Liyueselective

Keys: zhongli, liyue, qixing, liyue harbor, adepti, morax

Morax's staged death succeeded, leaving Liyue to face its transition to human rule under the worst possible circumstances. Without Morax to mediate centuries-old tensions, the relationship between humans and Adepti collapsed into outright civil war as each side blamed the other for the Geo Archon's apparent abandonment. The Qixing struggle to maintain control of Liyue Harbor while Adepti withdraw to their domains and strike at human settlements they view as disrespectful or exploitative, and the nation that once exemplified contracts and order has descended into fractured chaos.

Trade has ground nearly to a halt as internal conflict consumes resources and attention, and Liyue's once-mighty economy teeters on collapse. Other nations watch nervously as one of Teyvat's strongest powers tears itself apart from within, unable to intervene meaningfully in their own crises.

3. #3Inazumaselective

Keys: raiden shogun, the resistance, inazuma, vision hunt decree, ei

The Vision Hunt Decree was challanged by the resistance, but ultimately failed in their pursuit of overthrowing the tyranical Archon and the Raiden Shogun's puppet government enforced it fully with ruthless efficiency, systematically hunting down every Vision bearer and crushing the resistance before it could gain meaningful momentum. Ei remains sealed within the Plane of Euthymia, completely unreachable, while her puppet continues implementing eternity through increasingly authoritarian measures that have transformed Inazuma into a closed nation ruled by fear and stagnation. The borders are sealed absolutely, with the Sakoku Decree preventing both entry and exit, and Inazuma has effectively vanished from Teyvat's geopolitical landscape entirely.

Citizens live under constant surveillance and harsh restrictions, all creativity and ambition crushed under the weight of unchanging eternity. The nation operates as a perfect but hollow shell, beautiful and deadly and completely isolated from the world beyond its shores, with no indication that anything will ever change.

4. #4Sumeruselective

Keys: sanctuary of surasthana, shouki no kami, sumeru, false god, nahida, sages, sabzerus festival, samsara, akademiya

The Akademiya Sages successfully imprisoned Nahida within the Sanctuary of Surasthana and proceeded with their plan to create a false god, installing the modified Scaramouche now called "Shouki no Kami" as Sumeru's artificial divine ruler. The Sabzeruz Festival Samsara continues running indefinitely, no longer to generate initial wisdom but to continually refine and strengthen their mechanical god, trapping thousands of citizens in an endlessly repeating day while the Sages consolidate power behind their manufactured deity. The true Dendro Archon remains trapped and forgotten, and Sumeru's scholarly culture has devolved into corrupt authoritarianism disguised as enlightened rule.

The nation's weakened state and corrupt leadership have made it a prime target for Furina's expansionist ambitions, with Fontaine forces already claiming desert territories while the Sages place blind faith in their false god's ability to protect them. Sumeru stands on the brink of conquest, led by frauds worshiping a puppet while their real Archon watches helplessly from her prison.

5. #5Fontaineselective

   Keys: fontaine, furina

Furina saved Fontaine from the prophecy fifty years ago but never received the emotional resolution that might have freed her from her theatrical persona, resulting in the mask completely consuming the person beneath it. She emerged from the crisis as one of Teyvat's strongest Archons, but twisted into someone genuinely cruel, genuinely vain, and genuinely dangerous, ruling Fontaine with charismatic authoritarianism that prizes elegance and entertainment above justice or mercy. Her obsession with perfection has transformed the nation into a beautiful but oppressive state where citizens live under constant scrutiny and even boredom is prosecutable, while her recent expansion into Sumeru's territories signals aggressive ambitions that have other nations deeply concerned.

As the only truly active and powerful Archon in current Teyvat, Furina operates without meaningful opposition, treating geopolitics as theatrical performance where she writes the script and expects everyone else to play their assigned roles. Fontaine thrives materially while suffocating spiritually, a nation of forced elegance masking genuine fear of its capricious divine ruler.

6. #6Natlanselective

   Keys: natlan, mavuika

Natlan's eternal war against the Abyss has tilted dangeringly toward defeat, with the nation's heroes falling faster than the Sacred Flame can replace them and entire regions succumbing to corruption. The prophecy of Natlan's destruction looms closer to reality with each passing month as defensive lines collapse and the Pilgrimage system struggles to produce warriors strong enough to hold back the tide. Mavuika's resurrection through the Sacred Flame succeeded, but even the Pyro Archon's return cannot fully stem losses that have been mounting unchecked for years, and the nation teeters on the edge of complete annihilation.

Natlan has become increasingly desperate, sending envoys to other nations seeking aid that never materializes as everyone drowns in their own crises. The nation's advanced Ley Line technology and dragon allies provide temporary reprieve but cannot solve the fundamental problem of fighting an endless war of attrition against an enemy that never stops coming, and whispers grow that Natlan may become the first nation to truly fall in this darker timeline.

7. #7Snezhnayaselective

   Keys: celestia, fatui, snezhnaya, tsaritsa

The Fatui have never operated more successfully ever before, with all Harbingers remaining alive and at full strength and every Gnosis collection operation proceeding without interference. The Tsaritsa's rebellion against Celestia advances steadily as her nation consolidates power and resources, positioning Snezhnaya as the single most organized and effective major power in current Teyvat. While other nations collapse into chaos or isolation, Snezhnaya thrives through careful manipulation and strategic opportunism, with Fatui agents embedded throughout the continent reporting back intelligence that keeps the Cryo Archon several steps ahead of everyone else.

Arlecchino operates from within this structure with full institutional backing while maintaining her personal moral code, and her decision to distance her House of the Hearth children from Furina's Fontaine reflects calculated recognition that even successful authoritarianism eventually devours its own. Snezhnaya watches the world burn and carefully stokes specific flames while preparing for the moment the Tsaritsa makes her final move against the heavens.
