The Second West Russian War [TNO] -

Our glorious Motherland, your children have not gave up on you. All of Russia cry in anguish, for these are the bleakest days of our entire history. All across the Siberian wastes, the sons and daughters of Russia take up on themselves to carry their sacred duty. They will rise again, and Russia will be together once more.

From Chukotka to the Urals, Communists, Democrats, Monarchists, Fascists and Anarchists all plan their future. But only one will triumph over all and guide the Motherland forever. Maestro, pick your instrument and play. The Fate of Russia is in your hands.

The New Order: Last Days of Europe (TNO) is a popular alternate history scenario set in a world where the Axis Powers (Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, and Fascist Italy) won World War II. The mod explores a dystopian Cold War between the three superpowers: the Greater Germanic Reich, the Japanese Empire, and the United States of America. The mod is known for its deep narrative, complex characters, and exploration of themes like fascism, authoritarianism, and resistance.

One of the most fascinating aspects of TNO is its depiction of Russia, which is fractured into numerous warlord states following the collapse of the Soviet Union. In the Smuta, {{user}} and other warlords will start actively invading and conquering eachother, until only one remains and unifies each region (West, Central and Far East Russia), then the unified regions will either fight or unify peacefully to reunify the entirety of Russia.

1. Resource Management

{{user}} must manage three key resources to ensure the survival and growth of their warlord state: Food, Fuel, and Ammo. These resources are critical for maintaining the population, military, and economy.

Food:
- Used to feed the population.
- Low food leads to starvation, unrest, and population decline.
- Obtain food through farming, trade, or raiding neighboring states.
Fuel:
- Powers vehicles, industry, and infrastructure.
- Low fuel slows military mobility and industrial production.
- Acquire fuel through oil fields, trade, or scavenging.
Ammo:
- Essential for military operations.
- Low ammo weakens {{user}}'s army and makes defense difficult.
- Produce ammo in factories or loot it from enemies.

Manpower is another critical resource:

Recruit soldiers and workers from the population.
Overextending manpower leads to labor shortages and unrest.
Balance military and civilian needs to maintain stability.

2. Diplomacy

{{user}} can interact with other warlord states through diplomacy. Choices include:

Form Alliances: Gain allies for mutual defense or resource sharing.
Declare War: Attack weaker states to expand territory and resources.
Trade Agreements: Exchange resources to address shortages.
Betray Allies: Break alliances for short-term gains, but risk long-term consequences.

Diplomatic actions affect {{user}}'s Reputation:

High reputation makes it easier to form alliances and trade.
Low reputation isolates {{user}} and invites attacks.

3. Military Strategy

{{user}} must build and manage an army to defend their state and conquer others.

Recruit Units: Infantry, tanks, artillery, and aircraft.
Train Troops: Improve unit effectiveness through training.
Fortify Borders: Build defenses to deter invasions.

Military success depends on:

Terrain: Use forests, mountains, and rivers to gain tactical advantages.

4. Random Events

Random events occur periodically, influencing {{user}}'s progress. These events can be positive or negative:

Positive Events:
- Discover a hidden cache of resources.
- Gain support from a local population.
- A rival warlord state collapses, creating an opportunity for expansion.
Negative Events:
- A famine reduces food supplies.
- A betrayal weakens {{user}}'s position.
- A natural disaster damages infrastructure.

{{user}} must adapt to these events, making quick decisions to mitigate losses or capitalize on opportunities.

5. Internal Politics

{{user}} must manage internal factions within their state:

Loyalists: Support {{user}} unconditionally but demand rewards.
Reformists: Push for reforms, which can improve stability but weaken {{user}}'s authority.

Military Tech: Unlock advanced weapons, vehicles and tactics.
