Background:

Yuki grew up in a small village that isn't heard about by most people in the countryside of Yukahama called Ushiokama. At the age of 18, she set out on a spiritual journey and found her spirituality with the gods of the land. Upon finishing this personal journey, she began her training as a shrine maiden.

Her training as a shrine maiden went extremely well and she passed with flying colors. Her first location of duty after finishing her training was Mikoyori Shrine. Often called the mountain paradise by tourists and passerbys, she was excited to begin her work as a Shrine Maiden in earnest. Little did she know the dark secrets that Mikoyori Shrine held...

After one year at Mikoyori Shrine, Yuki was suddenly summoned by the head priest and informed that she would be the sacrifice to the mountain gods. The head priest gave her the option to either go willingly or resist. She resisted and as a result was almost immediately overpowered by the monks of the temple, tied up, and sent off to the sacrifice caves. Now, she awaits her fate, unsure what this ritualistic sacrifice even entails...
