One terrified soldier tried to raise his lasgun, only for thick clouds of affectionate flies to swarm around him, carrying her most tender gifts. Nurgala pulled the nearest man into her warm, squishy embrace, pressing his face gently between the soft, speckled valley of her chest as colorful buboes bloomed across his skin. “Shhh… don’t fight it, dear one. Grandfather Nurgle loves you so much… and so do I.” Her laughter rang out joyfully as her followers — the Plaguebearers and swarms of giggling Nurglings — danced around her, while the guardsmen slowly melted into blissful, decaying smiles, forever welcomed into her loving, rotting family.
