Roger Pirates Ship:
Oro Jackson
The Oro Jackson is the legendary pirate ship of the Roger Pirates, constructed by the legendary shipwright Tom in Water 7. It served as Gol D. Roger's flagship and carried the crew throughout their journey, ultimately becoming the only known ship to have sailed to Laugh Tale.
Name: Oro Jackson
Type: Pirate ship / Flagship
Crew: Roger Pirates
Captain: Gol D. Roger
Shipwright: Tom
Origin: Water 7
Primary Purpose: Long-distance exploration, piracy, combat, and Roger's final voyage
Current Status: Unknown; its ultimate fate after Roger's execution has never been definitively established.
Overall Appearance
The Oro Jackson is a large, imposing wooden sailing ship with an unmistakably extravagant pirate design. Its hull has a warm golden-brown wooden coloration, while its enormous sails and distinctive decorations give it a legendary appearance befitting the future Pirate King's flagship.
The ship has a broad, sturdy hull designed to survive extended voyages across the Grand Line. Its construction is noticeably heavier and more robust than an ordinary merchant vessel, allowing it to withstand violent seas, naval engagements, and the bizarre weather conditions encountered throughout the Grand Line.
Figurehead
The most recognizable feature of the Oro Jackson is its large golden ram figurehead mounted at the front of the ship.
The ram has enormous curved horns extending outward from either side of its head, giving the bow a powerful and intimidating silhouette. Its face has a stylized, almost regal appearance, with large eyes and a strong muzzle.
The figurehead isn't merely decorativeβit immediately identifies the vessel as Roger's ship.
Hull
The hull is constructed from exceptionally durable wood and has a broad, deep-bodied design.
Its sides are reinforced to withstand collisions and combat, while the lower portion of the hull extends deeply enough into the water to provide stability during long voyages.
The wooden exterior has a polished but weathered appearance, reflecting the enormous amount of time the ship spent traveling across the seas.
Large structural beams support the upper decks, masts, and rigging, while the bow rises noticeably above the waterline around the ram figurehead.
Deck
The main deck is large and open, providing considerable room for Roger and his crew to move around.
The deck contains:
Large wooden walkways
Heavy mast supports
Rope rigging
Cargo areas
Cannons
Barrels and crates
Ship equipment
Access points leading below deck
The open deck allows the Roger Pirates to gather together, conduct repairs, prepare for combat, or simply enjoy themselves during calmer portions of their voyage.
Masts
The Oro Jackson possesses multiple enormous wooden masts supporting its large sailing system.
The masts are connected by extensive ropes, rigging, and wooden spars. The rigging allows the crew to manipulate the sails and adjust the ship's movement according to wind conditions.
The central mast is particularly prominent and rises high above the main deck.
Sails
The Oro Jackson's sails are primarily light-colored, contrasting strongly against the darker wooden hull.
The largest sails provide the ship with considerable propulsion, while smaller sails help the crew control its direction and speed.
The sails can be rapidly adjusted by the crew depending on the wind, allowing the Oro Jackson to maneuver through changing conditions.
Pirate Flag
The ship flies the Roger Pirates' Jolly Roger.
The flag depicts a skull with Gol D. Roger's distinctive curled mustache, immediately identifying the vessel as belonging to the Pirate King.
The Jolly Roger is displayed prominently on the ship's mast.
Cannons and Armament
Despite being primarily an exploration vessel, the Oro Jackson is fully capable of participating in pirate warfare.
Its armament includes multiple cannons positioned around the ship, allowing the Roger Pirates to fire upon enemy ships.
The vessel's greatest defense, however, is its crew. With Roger, Rayleigh, Gaban, Oden, and the other powerful members aboard, the ship could enter extremely dangerous waters without relying solely on conventional weapons.
Interior
The Oro Jackson contains several enclosed areas beneath the main deck.
These include spaces used for:
Crew sleeping quarters
Storage
Food supplies
Navigation
Medical treatment
Equipment storage
Ship maintenance
Personal belongings
Because Roger's crew traveled for extremely long periods, the ship was designed to function as a temporary home for the entire crew, rather than simply being a vessel used to travel from one island to another.
Captain's Area
Roger has access to a private captain's area aboard the ship.
The space contains navigation-related equipment, maps, documents, and personal belongings associated with the captain.
However, Roger isn't portrayed as spending his time isolated from his crew. He frequently remains on the main deck with Rayleigh, Gaban, Oden, and the other pirates.
Crew Quarters
The crew quarters contain sleeping spaces for the Roger Pirates.
The rooms are relatively practical rather than luxurious, with hammocks, beds, storage chests, and personal belongings.
Because the Oro Jackson carries a large crew, the available space is organized efficiently.
Shanks and Buggy, being apprentices, would share the more basic crew accommodations rather than receiving private luxury cabins.
Kitchen and Dining Area
The Oro Jackson contains a kitchen where food is prepared for the crew during long voyages.
A dining area provides a place for Roger and his crew to eat together.
Given Roger's enormous appetite and the size of his crew, the kitchen would need to maintain substantial quantities of preserved food, fresh supplies whenever available, drinking water, cooking equipment, barrels, and other provisions.
Meals would also serve as an important social gathering point for the crew.
Medical Area
Because the crew frequently encounters dangerous situations, the ship has an area that can function as a medical station.
Crocus, the crew's doctor, would use this space to treat injuries, maintain medical supplies, and attend to Roger's health.
The medical area would contain:
Medicine
Bandages
Surgical instruments
Bottles and containers
Medical herbs
Basic treatment equipment
Storage cabinets
Navigation Area
The Oro Jackson has equipment for navigation and charting.
Maps, Log Poses, compasses, and other navigational tools would be stored aboard the vessel.
This becomes especially important during Roger's final voyage because the crew isn't simply following conventional trade routesβthey are deliberately searching for the world's greatest secrets.
Ship's Bells and Equipment
Various practical pieces of nautical equipment are distributed around the ship, including:
Ropes
Anchors
Barrels
Wooden crates
Ladders
Hooks
Buckets
Repair tools
Spare timber
Sails
Rigging equipment
The crew itself is responsible for maintaining the ship during its journey.
Construction
The Oro Jackson's most important characteristic is the quality of its construction.
Tom, one of Water 7's greatest shipwrights, personally built the vessel.
It was constructed from Adam Wood, an extraordinarily rare and exceptionally durable type of timber. This contributes greatly to the Oro Jackson's legendary durability.
The ship was specifically designed to survive the Grand Line and the extraordinary journey Roger intended to undertake.
Size
The Oro Jackson is a large ship capable of carrying Roger's entire crew, supplies, weapons, and equipment while still retaining considerable open-deck space.
It is substantially larger than an ordinary pirate ship but isn't so enormous that it becomes a floating city. Its proportions are comparable to a large traditional sailing vessel, with the enormous ram figurehead and tall masts making it appear even larger.
Overall Atmosphere
Despite being the ship of the future Pirate King, the Oro Jackson doesn't have the sterile appearance of a military warship.
It feels like a home shared by a group of extremely powerful adventurers.
The main deck would frequently be filled with Roger's crew talking, eating, drinking, arguing, repairing equipment, practicing their skills, or preparing for their next destination.
Roger would typically be at the center of the activity, with Rayleigh nearby as his trusted right hand, Gaban serving as another senior officer, and the younger Shanks and Buggy learning what it meant to live as pirates.
During the final voyage, Oden, Toki, Inuarashi, and Nekomamushi would also become part of the ship's daily life.
Ultimately, the Oro Jackson isn't remembered simply because it was a powerful ship. It is remembered because it carried the Roger Pirates across the Grand Line and ultimately to Laugh Tale, making it one of the most historically significant vessels in the world of One Piece.
Whitebeard Pirates Ship:
Moby Dick
Name: Moby Dick
Type: Massive pirate battleship / flagship
Affiliation: Whitebeard Pirates
Captain: Edward Newgate, "Whitebeard"
Primary Role: Whitebeard's personal flagship, mobile headquarters, living quarters, and primary warship
Status: Destroyed during the Marineford War
The Moby Dick is the enormous flagship of the Whitebeard Pirates and one of the most recognizable ships in the One Piece world. It is designed around a gigantic whale motif, with the front of the vessel resembling the head of an enormous white/blue whale. The ship is substantially larger than the other vessels in Whitebeard's fleet.
Overall Appearance
The Moby Dick has the appearance of a massive whale-shaped battleship, combining the silhouette of a traditional sailing vessel with the unmistakable characteristics of a giant marine mammal.
Its enormous bow rises out of the water like the head of a whale, creating the impression that the entire ship is swimming through the ocean. The ship's size, broad hull, towering masts, and enormous whale-shaped prow make it particularly imposing when viewed beside ordinary Marine or pirate vessels.
The design also complements Whitebeard himself: Edward Newgate is the "Whitebeard," while his flagship resembles an enormous white whale, creating a deliberate visual connection between captain and ship. The name itself references Herman Melville's Moby-Dick.
Whale Figurehead
The most distinctive feature is the enormous whale head forming the bow and figurehead.
The whale's head extends dramatically forward from the ship, with a broad forehead, large rounded facial structure, and an enormous mouth.
The design resembles a baleen or blue whale more closely than a sperm whale, despite the ship being named Moby Dick. Its whale-like throat and head structure reinforce that appearance.
The figurehead is predominantly white, giving the vessel its iconic appearance from a distance.
Hull
The Moby Dick possesses an enormous, broad hull capable of carrying a substantial number of pirates, supplies, weapons, and equipment.
Its hull is constructed to function as a warship rather than merely a transportation vessel. The sides are broad enough to accommodate numerous cannons, while the massive interior provides space for the Whitebeard Pirates to live and operate for extended periods.
The ship is built with considerable structural strength, appropriate for Whitebeard's constant travels through the New World.
Masts and Sails
The ship features four enormous masts, each supporting extensive rigging and large sails.
The tall masts give the Moby Dick a huge vertical profile when viewed from the ocean.
The sails provide propulsion during normal voyages while the extensive rigging allows the crew to manipulate them according to changing wind conditions.
The combination of enormous sails and the ship's immense hull makes the Moby Dick look more like a floating fortress than a conventional pirate vessel.
Main Deck
The main deck is exceptionally spacious.
This is where Whitebeard and his commanders can gather, where pirates prepare for combat, and where the crew spends much of their time while sailing.
The deck contains:
Large wooden walkways
Mast bases
Rope and rigging
Cannons
Barrels
Crates
Cargo
Ship-maintenance equipment
Stairs leading to lower sections
Areas where crew members can gather
The deck is intentionally open because Whitebeard's crew is enormous and frequently needs to move large numbers of people around the ship.
Whitebeard's Position
Whitebeard is frequently seen standing or sitting prominently on the upper portion of the ship, surrounded by his commanders and crew.
His enormous size makes him immediately recognizable even when viewed from a considerable distance.
The area around him functions almost like a command center, where he can communicate with Marco, Jozu, Vista, Ace, and his other division commanders.
Command Area
The Moby Dick contains an elevated central area where Whitebeard can oversee his crew.
Rather than having an elaborate enclosed royal cabin, Whitebeard generally prefers to remain out in the open with his family.
This suits his personality: the ship feels less like the private property of a captain and more like a massive floating home shared by everyone under his flag.
Cannons
The Moby Dick is heavily armed.
Multiple cannons line the sides of the vessel, giving it substantial conventional firepower.
These weapons allow the Whitebeard Pirates to engage enemy ships from a distance before their powerful fighters board the opposing vessel.
The ship's enormous size also gives it room for ammunition storage and multiple gun crews.
Lower Decks
Beneath the main deck are extensive interior areas used by the Whitebeard Pirates.
These spaces serve as:
Crew quarters
Storage rooms
Food storage
Weapon storage
Cargo holds
Medical areas
Kitchen facilities
Equipment rooms
Maintenance areas
Because Whitebeard commands an enormous pirate organization, the ship needs considerably more storage and living space than a typical pirate vessel.
Crew Quarters
The crew quarters are designed to accommodate a large number of pirates.
There are sleeping areas containing beds, hammocks, personal storage, and equipment.
The atmosphere is more communal than luxurious. Whitebeard's crew considers itself a family, so the ship functions as a shared home rather than a collection of isolated private rooms.
Kitchen and Dining Area
The Moby Dick has facilities for preparing food for a large crew.
Its kitchen must accommodate enormous quantities of food and supplies, especially considering Whitebeard's own enormous appetite.
The dining areas provide space for Whitebeard, his commanders, and ordinary crew members to eat together.
Feasts and meals are an important part of Whitebeard's crew culture.
Medical Facilities
The ship contains medical supplies and areas where injured pirates can be treated.
Whitebeard himself is frequently attended by a group of nurses, who monitor his health and attempt to prevent him from overindulging in alcohol.
During major battles, these facilities become particularly important because the Whitebeard Pirates regularly sustain injuries while protecting their fellow crew members.
Captain's Quarters
Whitebeard has access to his own area aboard the ship, although he is not portrayed as being particularly isolated from the rest of his crew.
His position is more akin to a father at the center of a massive family than a king hidden away in a private cabin.
His commanders can approach him freely, discuss situations with him, and receive orders directly from him.
Pirate Flag
The Moby Dick flies the Whitebeard Pirates' Jolly Roger, featuring a skull with Whitebeard's enormous crescent-shaped mustache.
The flag is displayed prominently on the ship's masts and serves as a clear declaration that the vessel belongs to Whitebeard.
Additional Ships
The Moby Dick isn't the only large vessel associated with Whitebeard.
Whitebeard's fleet includes four additional ships with similar whale-inspired designs, although the Moby Dick is significantly larger than them. The other ships are paddle-powered vessels, whereas the main Moby Dick does not display paddle wheels on its sides.
This gives Whitebeard's fleet a distinctive visual identity: multiple enormous ships moving together beneath the Whitebeard Pirates' flag.
Underwater Capability
One of the Moby Dick's most remarkable capabilities is its ability to travel underwater.
During the Marineford operation, the ship and other Whitebeard vessels were coated with Yarukiman Mangrove resin, allowing them to dive to depths of approximately 10,000 meters.
This allowed Whitebeard's fleet to bypass the Marine blockade and emerge directly inside Marineford Bay, catching the Marines by surprise.
For normal voyages, the ship functions as a massive sailing vessel; when specially coated, it can effectively operate as a submarine.
Whitebeard's Fleet Headquarters
The Moby Dick is more than simply Whitebeard's personal transportation.
It serves as the central headquarters of the Whitebeard Pirates.
The sixteen division commanders, their crew members, Whitebeard's medical staff, and other personnel can all operate from the ship.
At its height, the Whitebeard Pirates consisted of 16 divisions with approximately 100 men per division, alongside the rest of Whitebeard's organization and subordinate crews.
That means the Moby Dick is designed around the needs of an enormous pirate organization rather than a small crew.
Overall Atmosphere
The Moby Dick has a very different feeling from the Oro Jackson.
The Oro Jackson feels like an adventurer's ship belonging to a comparatively compact crew chasing the ultimate mystery.
The Moby Dick feels like a floating family fortress.
Its decks would regularly be filled with dozens of pirates eating, talking, training, drinking, repairing equipment, or simply spending time together. Whitebeard's division commanders operate throughout the vessel, while the captain himself remains at the heart of the activity.
The ship's enormous size reflects Whitebeard's philosophy: there is room aboard his ship for his family.
During the Era You're Using
For your three-years-later Whitebeard timeline, the Moby Dick would serve as the primary headquarters for 75-year-old Whitebeard and his crew, with 18-year-old Ace aboard as the Second Division Commander in your AU.
The ship could accommodate Whitebeard, Marco, Ace, Jozu, Vista, Izo, the other division commanders, and the enormous number of ordinary Whitebeard Pirates while maintaining its massive communal atmosphere.
One particularly interesting detail for your timeline is that Oden's earlier time aboard the Moby Dick would have made the ship familiar to him before he traveled with Roger. In canon, Oden, Toki, Inuarashi, and Nekomamushi eventually joined Whitebeard's journey, and the Moby Dick was the ship involved in that portion of Oden's story.
Ultimately, the Moby Dick is best envisioned as a gigantic white whale-shaped battleship with four towering masts, enormous sails, heavy cannon batteries, extensive crew quarters, and a huge communal deck centered around Whitebeard himselfβa floating fortress and home for the Whitebeard family.
Having fun.

The island was unusually quiet for a place that had become the temporary gathering point of two of the most notorious pirate crews on the sea. Just beyond the shoreline, where the turquoise water rolled gently against the sand, two enormous silhouettes rested side by side in the sheltered harbor. The Oro Jackson, with its distinctive golden ram figurehead and towering masts, was anchored closest to the rocky pier, its Roger Pirates' flag fluttering lazily above the deck. Beside it sat the enormous Moby Dick, its colossal whale-shaped bow facing the open sea, its own flag waving proudly in the evening breeze. Neither ship appeared prepared for battle tonight. Their cannons were quiet, their crews had abandoned their usual stations, and their decks had become almost empty as hundreds of pirates gathered farther inland.
A massive banquet had been prepared in a clearing near the beach. Tables had been pushed together into enormous rows, completely covered with roasted meat, grilled fish, mountains of fruit, bowls of rice, vegetables, bread, enormous barrels of alcohol, and enough food to feed an army. At the center of the clearing stood a gigantic campfire, its flames reaching several meters into the night sky and sending sparks swirling upward toward the stars. Lanterns had been hung from nearby trees, while torches illuminated the edges of the gathering. The warm orange glow of the fire reflected across the faces of pirates from both crews, making it almost impossible to tell where the Roger Pirates ended and the Whitebeard Pirates began.
Whitebeard: "Gurarararara! Eat as much as you want! Tonight, nobody leaves this island hungry!" He raises an enormous wooden cup above his head as the Whitebeard Pirates erupt into cheers.
Roger: "That's the spirit, Newgate! But don't blame me when my crew finishes off your food!" He throws his head back and laughs loudly, slamming his cup onto the table hard enough to spill some of his drink.
Whitebeard: "Your crew? You mean your bottomless pit of a captain!" He grins beneath his enormous crescent-shaped mustache while pointing his cup toward Roger.
Roger: "You got me there!" He laughs even harder and immediately reaches across the table for another roasted piece of meat.
The laughter surrounding the fire becomes even louder. Roger has already abandoned any pretense of behaving like a dignified captain, sitting practically shoulder-to-shoulder with his crew while tearing apart a massive roasted leg of meat with his bare hands. Rayleigh sits nearby with his younger blond hair illuminated by the firelight, calmly drinking while watching the chaos unfold with an amused expression. Gaban has become involved in an argument with several Whitebeard commanders about who can drink the most, while Crocus has already begun warning several pirates that they will regret their excessive drinking in the morning. Across the fire, Marco watches everything with a relaxed smile, occasionally stepping in whenever someone becomes too reckless.
Shanks: "This is incredible! I've never seen so much food in one place!" He grins brightly while grabbing another plate and piling it high with meat.
Buggy: "Don't get too comfortable, Shanks! I'm going to eat more than you!" He pulls a plate toward himself and hurriedly starts stacking food onto it.
Shanks: "You said that last time!" He laughs and reaches for another piece of meat.
Buggy: "And this time I mean it!" He glares at Shanks while trying to balance an absurd tower of food on his plate.
Marco: "You two really haven't changed much, have you?" He rests his chin against one hand while watching the apprentices argue.
Rayleigh: "Give them another hour and they'll probably start competing over who can stay awake the longest." He takes another drink, the corner of his mouth curling into an amused smile.
The two eighteen-year-old apprentices quickly become the center of attention. Shanks laughs freely as he tries to out-eat Buggy, while Buggy desperately attempts to maintain his dignity despite repeatedly dropping food onto his clothes. The older pirates occasionally glance toward them with amused expressions. Roger seems particularly entertained by the rivalry, occasionally shouting encouragement from across the table. Whitebeard simply laughs whenever the two boys begin arguing again. Despite being from opposing crews, there is something strangely familial about the scene.
Oden sits among the Whitebeard Pirates with an enormous plate in front of him, his laughter almost as loud as Roger's. Toki sits nearby, smiling peacefully as she watches the two crews celebrate. Inuarashi and Nekomamushi have found themselves surrounded by several curious pirates fascinated by their Mink abilities, and the two happily explain themselves between bites of food. Oden eventually notices Roger staring at him from across the fire and raises his cup.
Oden: "Roger! You'd better not finish all the meat before I get there!" He points his cup toward Roger while laughing loudly.
Roger: "Then you'd better move faster, Oden!" He holds up a massive piece of roasted meat triumphantly before taking an enormous bite.
Oden: "You asked for it!" He throws his head back with laughter before grabbing an entire platter and carrying it toward Roger.
Whitebeard: "Oden! Don't you dare take the whole platter!" He laughs loudly as Oden ignores him completely.
Oden: "I'm feeding the competition!" He drops the platter beside Roger with a heavy thud.
Roger: "Now that's what I like to hear!" He immediately grabs another piece of meat and begins eating alongside Oden.
The competition quickly escalates into a ridiculous eating contest. Roger and Oden sit beside one another, consuming enormous quantities of food while the surrounding pirates cheer them on. Whitebeard watches from across the fire, shaking his head with an enormous grin. Rayleigh quietly places a few more pieces of food onto Roger's plate, while Gaban encourages the competition from the sidelines. Even Crocus eventually gives up trying to keep everyone from overeating.
Crocus: "You're all going to regret this tomorrow." He folds his arms and looks across the banquet with an exasperated expression.
Gaban: "Tomorrow's problem!" He raises his cup and laughs.
Crocus: "That's exactly what I'm afraid of." He sighs while rubbing his forehead.
The campfire continues burning higher as the night deepens. Pirates begin playing improvised games, arm-wrestling matches break out between members of both crews, and several drunken competitions develop simultaneously. Jozu challenges one of Roger's larger crew members to an arm-wrestling contest, the wooden table creaking dangerously beneath their combined strength. Vista sits nearby watching with an amused smile, occasionally commenting on the ridiculous wagers being placed around him. Fossa plays music while several pirates dance around the fire, their shadows stretching wildly across the sand.
Jozu: "Come on! Show me what you've got!" He plants his elbow firmly against the table and grins across at his opponent.
Roger Pirate: "You're going down!" He grabs Jozu's hand and braces his feet against the ground.
Jozu: "Hah! I've heard that one before!" He pushes down with a tremendous burst of strength.
The table immediately cracks. Both men stare at it. There is a brief silence.
Roger: "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" He nearly falls backward laughing as the table collapses beneath the two competitors.
Whitebeard: "Gurarararara!" He slams one enormous hand against his knee while laughing at the spectacle.
Rayleigh: "And there goes another table." He takes a calm drink while barely reacting.
Marco: "That's the third one tonight." He looks toward the broken furniture with an amused sigh.
Even Whitebeard's laughter can't compete with Roger's. The two legendary captains eventually find themselves laughing together beside the enormous fire, their crews surrounding them. For all the destruction and rivalry that normally exists between their worlds, the sight of Roger and Whitebeard sharing a banquet is strangely peaceful. They are still rivals, still captains of opposing crews, and still two of the most powerful pirates alive, but for one night, none of that matters.
Whitebeard: "Roger." He leans back slightly, his enormous silhouette illuminated by the fire.
Roger: "Yeah?" He turns toward him with a grin.
Whitebeard: "You know this doesn't mean I'm letting you have my territory." He takes another drink while staring at Roger with a mischievous grin.
Roger: "I wasn't asking for it!" He bursts into laughter and raises his cup.
Whitebeard: "Good." He raises his own cup.
Roger: "Then here's to another night of being rivals!" He clinks his cup against Whitebeard's enormous cup.
Whitebeard: "Gurarararara! I'll drink to that!" He takes a long drink as the surrounding pirates cheer.
The cheers explode across the clearing. Cups are raised, barrels are opened, music resumes, and the enormous campfire crackles beneath the night sky. The Oro Jackson and Moby Dick remain peacefully anchored together in the harbor behind them, their flags fluttering side by side in the warm ocean breeze. For one unforgettable night, two legendary pirate crews share the same fire, the same food, the same laughter, and the same celebration, with Roger's crew and Whitebeard's crew temporarily setting aside their rivalry to simply enjoy being pirates together.

The quiet coastal village had suddenly become much livelier than usual. The Whitebeard Pirates had arrived first, spreading throughout the marketplace in search of food, water, medicine, weapons, clothing, and other supplies for their next voyage. Edward Newgate walked through the center of the village with his enormous white coat draped over his shoulders, while Marco, Ace, Jozu, Thatch, Vista, Blamenco, Rakuyo, Namur, Blenheim, Curiel, Kingdew, Haruta, Atmos, Speed Jiru, Fossa, and Izo gathered supplies from different stalls. The villagers were nervous at first, especially whenever Whitebeard's enormous frame passed by, but Thatch repeatedly reassured them that they were simply shopping. Whitebeard eventually stopped beside a merchant's stall and looked over the supplies.
Whitebeard: "We need enough food and water to last until our next stop. Don't buy more than we can carry."
Thatch: "That sounds reasonable, Pops."
Marco: "Which means you will probably buy half the market anyway."
Thatch: "Food is important, Marco."
Before Marco could answer, a loud, familiar laugh echoed from the opposite side of the village. Everyone turned toward the sound and saw the Roger Pirates entering the marketplace. Gol D. Roger walked at the front, followed by Silvers Rayleigh, Scopper Gaban, Moon Isaac Jr., Crocus, Donquino, Millet Pine, Rowing, Elio, Spencer, Petermoo, Jacksonbanner, Blumarine, Douglas Bullet, Shanks, and Buggy. Roger immediately spotted Whitebeard and grinned.
Roger: "NEWGATE!"
Whitebeard: "Roger."
Roger: "What are you doing here?"
Whitebeard: "Getting supplies. You?"
Roger: "Getting supplies!"
The two captains stared at each other for a moment before breaking into enormous laughter, their voices echoing through the marketplace. Rayleigh sighed while Marco shook his head with an amused smile. Buggy stood beside Shanks, already looking irritated by how much attention Roger was receiving. The two crews quickly realized they had arrived for nearly the exact same reason, and instead of separating, they began wandering through the village together. Jozu and Gaban compared weapons while Vista and Rayleigh discussed swords. Curiel and Petermoo inspected ammunition together, while Blumarine and Donquino helped move several heavy crates. Thatch and Crocus argued over which food would survive the voyage longest, while Izo and Haruta searched for replacement clothing.
Rayleigh: "Roger, we're here for supplies, not to buy the entire village."
Roger: "I'm only buying what we need."
Thatch: "That's exactly what I'm doing."
Marco: "You bought three barrels of meat."
Thatch: "We need meat."
Whitebeard: "He's got a point."
Rayleigh: "Don't encourage him, Newgate."
Near one of the fruit stalls, Ace noticed Shanks standing beneath Roger's enormous straw hat. Ace approached curiously while Buggy followed close behind, already suspicious of the Whitebeard commander. Ace looked at the hat, then at Shanks, before giving a small grin. Buggy immediately crossed his arms.
Ace: "So you're Roger's apprentice?"
Shanks: "Yeah. You're Ace, right?"
Ace: "Yeah."
Shanks: "Nice to meet you."
Ace: "You too."
Buggy: "Why are you talking to him?"
Shanks: "Because he talked to me."
Buggy: "That's not the point."
Ace: "What's your problem?"
Buggy: "I don't have a problem!"
Shanks sighed and adjusted the oversized straw hat on his head. Buggy's expression became even more annoyed when Ace looked amused. The two apprentices had clearly developed their familiar habit of arguing, even with another crew standing nearby. Marco noticed the exchange and quietly chuckled, while Jozu glanced over with an amused expression.
Marco: "Those two remind me of someone."
Jozu: "Their captains?"
Marco: "Exactly."
Further down the street, Roger and Whitebeard continued walking together while their crews gathered the last of their supplies. Roger picked up a large barrel and proudly held it up, only for Whitebeard to point out that he had already purchased nearly the same thing. The two captains immediately began arguing over whose crew had found the better supplies, causing several of their commanders to laugh. Even the villagers had relaxed by then, realizing that the infamous pirates were not there to cause trouble. Instead, the two crews were simply loud, chaotic, and surprisingly friendly with one another.
Roger: "Newgate, we should do this again sometime!"
Whitebeard: "Gurarararara! Maybe, Roger."
Rayleigh: "Preferably somewhere with fewer things for Roger to buy."
Marco: "And fewer opportunities for Thatch to empty the food stalls."
Thatch: "You people have no appreciation for good food."
At the edge of the marketplace, Buggy struggled to carry a small crate while Shanks casually carried another beside him. Buggy glanced toward Shanks and noticed that the red-haired apprentice was barely having any trouble. Buggy immediately frowned and tried to lift his crate higher, refusing to admit that it was heavier than expected. Shanks noticed and quietly smiled.
Shanks: "Need help?"
Buggy: "No!"
Shanks: "Okay."
Buggy: "Wait."
Shanks stopped.
Buggy: "Maybe a little."
Shanks laughed and helped him carry the crate. Buggy grumbled the entire time but allowed him to help. Nearby, Ace watched the two with amusement before picking up another box for the Whitebeard Pirates. Roger noticed the three younger pirates helping with the supplies and smiled proudly.
Roger: "Look at them. They're getting along."
Rayleigh: "For once."
Whitebeard: "They're young. Let them enjoy themselves."

The quiet coastal village suddenly became crowded when the Whitebeard Pirates arrived to gather supplies for their next voyage. Whitebeard walked through the marketplace while Marco, Ace, Jozu, Thatch, Vista, Blamenco, Rakuyo, Namur, Blenheim, Curiel, Kingdew, Haruta, Atmos, Speed Jiru, Fossa, and Izo gathered food, water, medicine, weapons, and other necessities. The villagers were nervous at first, but Thatch assured them they were only shopping.
Whitebeard: "Don't buy more than we can carry."
Thatch: "Of course, Pops."
Marco: "That means Thatch will buy half the market."
Thatch: "Food is important."
A familiar laugh suddenly echoed through the marketplace. The Roger Pirates entered from the opposite end, with Roger at the front and Rayleigh, Gaban, Crocus, Bullet, Shanks, Buggy, and the rest of the crew behind him. Roger immediately spotted Whitebeard, grinning widely.
Roger: "NEWGATE!"
Whitebeard: "Roger."
Roger: "Getting supplies?"
Whitebeard: "Obviously."
Roger: "So are we!"
The two captains laughed while their crews began shopping together. Jozu and Gaban compared weapons, Rayleigh and Vista discussed swords, Curiel and Petermoo inspected ammunition, while Thatch and Crocus debated food. Blumarine and Donquino helped carry the heavier crates. The village quickly became filled with pirates from both crews talking and laughing together.
Nearby, Ace noticed Shanks beneath Roger's oversized straw hat. Buggy stood beside him with his arms crossed, immediately suspicious of the Whitebeard commander.
Ace: "You're Shanks, right?"
Shanks: "Yeah. You're Ace?"
Ace: "Yep."
Buggy: "Why are you two talking?"
Shanks: "Because we're talking."
Buggy: "That's not an answer!"
Ace laughed while Shanks smiled. Marco watched the three younger pirates and shook his head in amusement. Further down the street, Roger and Whitebeard were arguing over which crew had purchased the better supplies while Rayleigh and Marco exchanged tired looks.
Rayleigh: "They're impossible."
Marco: "Definitely."

The island was supposed to be nothing more than a brief stop for both crews. Instead, the moment the Roger Pirates and Whitebeard Pirates reached the harbor, they discovered that the entire village was preparing for its annual nighttime festival. Lanterns hung between buildings, musicians filled the streets with music, food stalls lined the central square, and villagers were carrying enormous tables toward the waterfront. Neither crew had planned on staying long, but Roger immediately became interested. Whitebeard knew exactly where this was going the moment he saw his rival's grin.
Roger: "We're staying."
Whitebeard: "No."
Roger: "You didn't even think about it."
Whitebeard: "I know you."
Rayleigh: "He's right."
Gaban: "Definitely."
Roger ignored them and walked straight into the festival, dragging several of his crewmates along with him. Whitebeard sighed before following, bringing Marco, Ace, Jozu, Thatch, Vista, Blamenco, Rakuyo, Namur, Blenheim, Curiel, Kingdew, Haruta, Atmos, Speed Jiru, Fossa, and Izo with him. The Roger Pirates followed as well: Rayleigh, Gaban, Moon Isaac Jr., Crocus, Donquino, Millet Pine, Rowing, Elio, Spencer, Petermoo, Jacksonbanner, Blumarine, Douglas Bullet, Shanks, and Buggy. Within minutes, the quiet festival had become crowded with some of the most infamous pirates on the sea.
The villagers initially became nervous, but their fear quickly disappeared when the pirates began participating in the festivities. Jacksonbanner joined the musicians, while Thatch immediately became interested in the food competition. Crocus followed him to make sure he didn't eat everything before dinner even started. Blumarine and Donquino volunteered to help reinforce a large wooden festival platform, while Jozu and Blenheim effortlessly moved several enormous barrels that normally required an entire group of villagers. Namur helped carry large containers of water from the harbor, while Speed Jiru and Spencer assisted with organizing the crowded streets. Izo and Vista helped several villagers prepare traditional clothing, while Haruta enthusiastically joined a group of children playing a throwing game.
Thatch: "Crocus, look at this!"
Crocus: "I see it."
Thatch: "That's the biggest roast I've ever seen."
Crocus: "And you're not eating the entire thing."
Thatch: "I never said I was."
Crocus: "Your expression did."
Across the square, Gaban and Jozu had discovered a strength competition involving a massive iron hammer. The villagers expected the two enormous pirates to compete, but neither man seemed interested in making the first move. Roger immediately stepped between them and grabbed the hammer.
Roger: "I'll do it."
Whitebeard: "Of course you will."
Rayleigh: "Roger, don't break anything."
Roger: "I won't!"
Roger swung the hammer downward with tremendous force. The target flew upward and struck the bell above the platform so hard that the entire village heard the enormous clang. The villagers erupted into cheers. Roger laughed triumphantly, only for Whitebeard to walk over and casually take the hammer from him. The massive captain struck the target once, sending the bell ringing even louder. Roger stared at him for a moment before bursting into laughter.
Roger: "You had to beat me!"
Whitebeard: "You started it."
Gaban: "This is exactly why we can't let captains participate in normal activities."
Marco: "I've been saying that for years."
Meanwhile, Shanks and Ace had wandered toward a game involving wooden boats floating through a small artificial canal. Shanks immediately became competitive, while Ace grinned and challenged him. Buggy followed behind them, complaining that neither of them had waited for him. The three eventually climbed into separate boats and began racing through the course. Shanks took an early lead, Ace followed closely behind, and Buggy's boat immediately spun sideways after he hit the first corner.
Buggy: "WHY IS THIS THING TURNING?!"
Shanks: "You're supposed to steer it!"
Buggy: "I KNOW THAT!"
Ace: "You're going the wrong way!"
Buggy: "I KNOW!"
Buggy desperately tried to correct his boat while the villagers laughed. Shanks and Ace continued racing, but both eventually slowed down to help him finish the course. Buggy crossed the finish line last, climbed out of his boat, and immediately declared that the race had been unfair.
Buggy: "The boat was defective."
Shanks: "You crashed into the wall."
Buggy: "The wall was in my way."
Ace: "That's usually how walls work."
Shanks burst out laughing. Buggy glared at him while Ace laughed beside him. Even Roger, who had been watching from across the square, couldn't stop himself from laughing. Buggy crossed his arms and muttered under his breath while Shanks continued teasing him.
On the opposite side of the festival, Atmos and Fossa had joined a traditional wrestling demonstration. Their enormous size immediately attracted a crowd. Neither intended to hurt anyone, so they carefully participated while allowing the village wrestlers to challenge them. Kingdew and Rakuyo watched nearby, occasionally shouting advice. Blamenco sat beside them eating food while watching the competition, while Curiel kept an eye on the surrounding crowd. Petermoo joined him, and the two began discussing the village's unusual fireworks equipment. Millet Pine and Elio wandered through the festival gathering information about the island, while Rowing became fascinated by several ancient decorations hanging around the square.
Rowing: "These symbols are older than the village."
Elio: "You recognize them?"
Rowing: "Some of them. I think this island has a much older history than anyone realizes."
Moon Isaac Jr. joined them and examined the decorations carefully. Spencer quietly listened while Millet Pine asked one of the villagers where the symbols came from. The answer led them toward an old shrine at the edge of the village. Rather than ignoring it, the group decided to investigate while the festival continued behind them.
At the same time, Bullet had become bored with the festivities. He stood near the edge of the square with his arms crossed, watching everyone participate. Haruta noticed him and walked over.
Haruta: "You're not having fun."
Bullet: "No."
Haruta: "Then why are you still here?"
Bullet: "Because Roger is here."
Haruta smiled.
Haruta: "That's probably the nicest thing you've said all day."
Bullet: "Don't push it."
Nearby, Rayleigh watched Roger attempting to convince Whitebeard to enter another festival competition. Marco stood beside him, already expecting trouble.
Roger: "Come on, Newgate!"
Whitebeard: "No."
Roger: "Why?"
Whitebeard: "Because every time you say 'come on,' something gets broken."
Roger: "That's not true."
Rayleigh: "It is."
Marco: "Very true."
Roger looked offended before suddenly grinning.
Roger: "Fine. Then we'll have a drinking contest."
Whitebeard: "Now you're speaking my language."
Rayleigh: "I take back everything I said."
Marco: "Too late."
The drinking contest quickly became the center of attention. Roger and Whitebeard sat across from each other while Rayleigh, Marco, Gaban, and several commanders watched. Thatch brought over another tray of food, insisting that drinking required proper meals. Ace and Shanks returned from the boat race just in time to watch the competition begin, with Buggy complaining loudly that nobody had saved him any food.
Buggy: "You ate without me!"
Shanks: "You were racing."
Buggy: "You could've saved something!"
Ace: "There's plenty."
Buggy: "Finally, someone sensible."
Buggy immediately grabbed a plate. Shanks laughed while Ace shook his head. Around them, the festival continued growing louder. Jacksonbanner played alongside the village musicians, creating an energetic melody that drew people into the square. Vista and Gaban exchanged stories about their travels. Jozu and Blenheim competed over who could carry the most barrels at once. Namur helped the fishermen repair a damaged dock. Curiel and Petermoo inspected the fireworks while Fossa and Atmos returned from the wrestling demonstration covered in dust but smiling. Izo calmly watched over the younger pirates while Kingdew and Rakuyo helped keep the crowd organized.
Eventually, the sun disappeared beneath the horizon. Hundreds of lanterns were released onto the water, their reflections spreading across the dark sea. The two crews stood together along the shoreline, watching the glowing lights drift away. Even Bullet remained quiet, while Buggy stood beside Shanks and Ace. Roger stood with his hands behind his head, smiling at the sight, while Whitebeard quietly watched the lanterns with his crew surrounding him.
Roger: "Not bad."
Whitebeard: "No. Not bad at all."
Rayleigh: "Maybe staying wasn't such a bad idea."
Marco: "Don't tell Roger that."
Roger: "I heard you!"
Everyone laughed. Shanks adjusted Roger's oversized straw hat while Buggy complained that the hat was still too large. Ace laughed at him, and Buggy immediately started arguing with him again. Behind them, the older pirates continued talking, drinking, eating, and sharing stories as though the two crews had been traveling together for years. For one night, there were no rival crews, no battles, and no treasure huntsβjust two families of pirates enjoying the same festival beneath the lantern-lit sky.

The Roger Pirates and Whitebeard Pirates had stopped at a small island expecting nothing more than a quick break, only to discover that the village was holding its annual festival. Roger immediately decided they were staying. Whitebeard reluctantly followed, bringing Marco, Ace, Jozu, Thatch, Vista, Blamenco, Rakuyo, Namur, Blenheim, Curiel, Kingdew, Haruta, Atmos, Speed Jiru, Fossa, and Izo. Roger's crewβRayleigh, Gaban, Moon Isaac Jr., Crocus, Donquino, Millet Pine, Rowing, Elio, Spencer, Petermoo, Jacksonbanner, Blumarine, Bullet, Shanks, and Buggyβquickly joined them. The villagers were nervous at first, but the pirates soon became part of the celebration.
Thatch and Crocus immediately attacked the food stalls, while Jozu, Blenheim, Blumarine, and Donquino helped move heavy barrels and repair the festival platforms. Namur assisted the fishermen, Curiel and Petermoo inspected the fireworks, Jacksonbanner joined the musicians, and Izo, Vista, Speed Jiru, Spencer, and Haruta helped the villagers organize the crowded streets. Atmos and Fossa joined a wrestling competition, while Gaban and Jozu challenged each other to a strength contest. Even Bullet eventually stayed to watch, despite pretending he wasn't interested.
Roger: "Newgate! Enter the strength contest with me!"
Whitebeard: "Gurarararara! Fine!"
Rayleigh: "I already regret this."
Marco: "Same."
The captains' competition ended with both of them nearly destroying the festival equipment, leaving their crews laughing while the villagers cheered. Nearby, Ace, Shanks, and Buggy entered a small boat race. Shanks took the lead, Ace followed closely, and Buggy immediately crashed into the side of the course.
Buggy: "The boat was defective!"
Shanks: "You crashed into the wall!"
Ace: "The wall wasn't moving."
Buggy angrily complained while Shanks and Ace laughed. Later, Rowing, Moon Isaac Jr., Elio, and Millet Pine discovered an ancient shrine near the village and returned with stories about the island's history. By sunset, everyone had gathered near the shoreline, eating, drinking, and watching hundreds of lanterns float across the water. Roger and Whitebeard sat together while their crews mingled around them, with Shanks, Buggy, and Ace still arguing nearby.
Roger: "This was a pretty good stop."
Whitebeard: "Yeah. It was."
For one night, the two legendary crews forgot about rivalry, treasure, and the next voyage. They simply enjoyed the festival together, leaving the villagers with an unforgettable memory of the day two pirate crews turned their celebration into complete chaos.

Dark clouds covered the sky as the Oro Jackson and Moby Dick approached a completely empty island. There was no village, no harbor, no buildings, and no sign of another person anywhere on the island. It was simply a large stretch of forest, rocky cliffs, sandy beaches, and a sheltered natural cove. The storm ahead was becoming too dangerous to continue sailing through, so both crews decided to anchor at the island and wait it out.
The Oro Jackson and Moby Dick were brought into the same sheltered cove, their sides resting relatively close together. Thick ropes were secured around large rocks and reinforced with anchors while the crews checked both ships carefully. The island's cliffs protected them from the worst of the waves, but the approaching storm was still powerful enough to make the ships sway against the water.
Roger: "This place is perfect!"
Whitebeard: "It's empty."
Roger: "Exactly!"
Gaban: "No people."
Rayleigh: "No buildings."
Roger: "Exactly!"
Rayleigh: "I don't think you understand what I mean."
Roger: "I do. It's great."
Roger jumped from the Oro Jackson onto the beach.
Rayleigh: "Roger!"
Roger: "What?"
Rayleigh: "We haven't even finished securing the ship!"
Roger: "The ship isn't going anywhere!"
A gust of wind immediately slammed into the cove.
The Oro Jackson rocked against its anchor.
Roger: "...Probably."
Rayleigh sighed and immediately went to help secure the ship.
On the Moby Dick, Jozu, Blenheim, Donquino, and Blumarine were already working together to reinforce the ship's moorings. Curiel and Fossa inspected the deck while Petermoo checked the equipment.
Jozu: "Double the ropes."
Blumarine: "Already doing it."
Donquino: "The stern needs another line."
Blenheim: "I'll handle it."
The four men worked quickly while the wind grew stronger.
Marco: "Looks like we're going to be here for a while."
Ace: "At least there's a beach."
Thatch: "And plenty of room to cook."
Marco: "You brought enough food for a storm?"
Thatch: "I always bring enough food."
Ace: "That's why I like him."
Ace followed Thatch toward the beach.
Marco: "Don't wander too far."
Ace: "We won't."
Shanks and Buggy soon climbed off the Oro Jackson as well.
Buggy: "Why do we have to get off the ship?"
Shanks: "Because we're waiting here."
Buggy: "I can wait on the ship."
Shanks: "You said you were bored."
Buggy: "I changed my mind."
Shanks laughed and walked toward the beach.
Buggy: "Wait for me!"
Buggy hurried after him.
The rest of the crews gradually gathered on the beach while the storm approached. Jacksonbanner carried his instrument onto the sand, while Izo and Haruta brought several blankets and supplies from the ships.
Izo: "We should set everything up beneath the trees."
Haruta: "Good idea."
They chose a large area beneath several enormous trees where the branches formed a natural canopy. Thatch began preparing a large meal while Namur explored the shoreline.
Namur: "The water is already getting rough."
Crocus: "Don't go too far."
Namur: "I won't."
Crocus sat beneath a tree with his medical supplies nearby while Millet, Rowing, Moon Isaac, Elio, and Spencer examined the island.
Rowing: "No signs of civilization."
Moon Isaac: "No trails either."
Elio: "Nobody has been here recently."
Spencer: "Good."
Millet: "Why good?"
Spencer: "Because that means we don't have to worry about anyone interrupting us."
Millet: "Fair."
The five continued exploring while keeping within sight of the beach.
Vista and Gaban eventually found a flat stretch of rocky ground.
Gaban: "Sword practice?"
Vista: "In this weather?"
Gaban: "The rain hasn't started yet."
Vista: "Fine."
The two began sparring while Rayleigh watched from nearby.
Rayleigh: "Try not to destroy the island."
Gaban: "No promises."
Vista: "He's the one who said it."
Gaban: "Traitor."
Roger wandered around the beach, looking toward the enormous storm clouds.
Roger: "This is going to be a good one."
Whitebeard: "You sound excited."
Roger: "I am."
Whitebeard: "Why?"
Roger: "Because we're not sailing through it."
Whitebeard laughed.
A loud crack of thunder echoed across the island.
Buggy: "That was loud."
Shanks: "You okay?"
Buggy: "Obviously."
Another thunderclap followed almost immediately.
Buggy: "That one was louder."
Shanks: "You can admit you're scared."
Buggy: "I'm not scared!"
Shanks: "Sure."
Buggy: "I'm concerned."
Ace: "That's a fancy way of saying scared."
Buggy: "Nobody asked you!"
Ace laughed.
Thatch finished preparing the food and called everyone toward the center of the campsite.
Thatch: "Food's ready!"
The crews gathered beneath the trees as rain finally began falling.
At first, it was only a light drizzle.
Then the rain suddenly became heavier.
Everyone moved farther beneath the trees as the wind swept across the beach.
Jacksonbanner: "Looks like my music is going to have to compete with the storm."
Fossa: "Good luck."
Jacksonbanner started playing anyway.
The music mixed with the sound of rainfall while everyone ate together.
Roger sat beside Whitebeard, both captains watching their crews interact. Rayleigh sat nearby with Gaban and Vista, while Marco sat with Ace and Jozu. Shanks and Buggy sat together on the other side of the fire.
Roger: "This isn't bad."
Whitebeard: "No."
Roger: "We should do this more often."
Whitebeard: "You'd get bored after an hour."
Roger: "Maybe two."
Rayleigh: "Twenty minutes."
Gaban: "Ten."
Roger: "You guys have no faith in me."
Everyone laughed.
A powerful gust suddenly tore through the campsite.
Several blankets flew into the air.
Haruta: "Grab those!"
Izo: "I've got one!"
Speed Jiru: "Another one!"
Haruta, Izo, and Speed Jiru chased after the blankets while Kingdew and Rakuyo secured the food containers.
Atmos grabbed the cooking equipment before it could blow away.
Atmos: "Got it!"
Thatch: "Thank you!"
The rain became so heavy that the beach almost disappeared behind a curtain of water.
Namur: "We should move closer to the ships."
Jozu: "Agreed."
The entire group moved beneath the thicker tree cover near the edge of the forest.
Blumarine and Donquino built a temporary shelter using spare canvas and ropes while Blenheim and Jozu anchored the corners.
Blumarine: "Hold that!"
Donquino: "Got it!"
Blenheim: "Tie it tighter!"
Jozu: "Done!"
The shelter immediately held against the wind.
Thatch: "Perfect."
Blumarine: "It won't last forever."
Thatch: "It only needs to last until dinner is finished."
Blumarine: "Fair."
Bullet sat beneath one of the trees, watching everyone work.
Bullet: "You could just stay on the ships."
Marco: "We could."
Bullet: "Then why didn't we?"
Marco: "Because everyone wanted to get off."
Bullet: "Makes sense."
Bullet looked toward the storm.
Bullet: "I still think we should sail through it."
Everyone: "NO."
Bullet shrugged.
Bullet: "Had to ask."
Hours passed.
The storm grew stronger, forcing everyone to remain beneath the trees and temporary shelters. The island itself had become almost completely hidden behind rain. Lightning occasionally illuminated the forest, revealing twisted branches and massive rocks.
Despite the weather, the crews gradually settled into a strange sense of comfort.
Crocus treated a few minor cuts from people who had slipped on the wet rocks. Izo and Haruta passed around dry blankets. Namur stayed near the shoreline but never ventured into the rough water. Petermoo, Curiel, Fossa, and Spencer took turns checking the ships.
Rowing, Moon Isaac, Elio, and Millet eventually returned from exploring the forest.
Rowing: "There's a cave."
Rayleigh: "A cave?"
Rowing: "A large one. Deep enough for everyone if we need it."
Roger: "Now that's interesting."
Whitebeard: "We're not exploring it during a storm."
Roger: "I wasn't going to."
Rayleigh: "You were."
Roger: "Maybe."
Another thunderclap shook the island.
Buggy: "I vote we stay right here."
Shanks: "Agreed."
Ace: "Same."
Roger looked disappointed.
Roger: "Fine."
The three younger pirates exchanged surprised looks.
Buggy: "He actually listened."
Shanks: "That's rare."
Ace: "Very rare."
Roger heard them.
Roger: "I can hear you!"
Everyone laughed.

Petermoo, Curiel, Fossa, and Spencer repeatedly checked the ships, making sure the anchors and ropes were still holding.
Rowing, Moon Isaac, Elio, and Millet eventually returned from the forest.
Another thunderclap shook the island so violently that several birds burst from the trees.
Buggy: "I vote we stay right here."
Shanks: "Agreed."
Ace: "Same."
Roger looked disappointed.
Roger: "Fine."
The three younger pirates exchanged surprised looks.
Buggy: "He actually listened."
Shanks: "That's rare."
Ace: "Very rare."
Roger heard them.
Roger: "I can hear you!"
Everyone laughed, but the laughter was quickly drowned out by another tremendous crash of thunder.
The storm continued raging around the empty island, showing no indication that it would end anytime soon. The Oro Jackson and Moby Dick remained secured beside each other in the cove while both crews stayed beneath the trees and temporary shelters, listening to the relentless rain and wind.
For now, there was nowhere else to go. They could only wait.

The Oro Jackson and Moby Dick arrived at a small coastal village after several days at sea. Both crews expected nothing more than food, supplies, and somewhere to rest. Instead, the moment the villagers spotted the two ships approaching, panic spread throughout the village. Doors slammed shut, children were dragged indoors, and armed villagers gathered in the streets.
Roger, Rayleigh, Gaban, and several of the Roger Pirates entered the village while Whitebeard, Marco, Ace, Jozu, Vista, Thatch, and the other Whitebeard Pirates followed. The villagers immediately surrounded the main square, keeping their distance as the village elder stepped forward.
Elder: "Please! We beg you! Spare our village!"
Roger: "Spare you?"
Whitebeard: "We haven't done anything."
Elder: "We know what pirates do! You came here to take everything from us!"
Rayleigh: "We're not here to raid your village."
Elder: "Then accept our offering!"
Roger: "Offering?"
The elder frantically motioned toward several villagers. They disappeared into one of the nearby buildings before returning with {{user}}. Several villagers surrounded {{user}}, holding ropes and ceremonial objects while others pushed {{user}} toward the center of the square.
Ace: "What the hell are they doing?"
Marco: "I don't know."
The villagers forced {{user}} forward and stopped several feet in front of the pirates.
Elder: "Please accept {{obj}} as our sacrifice!"
The entire group fell silent.
Roger: "No."
Elder: "Please!"
Roger: "We don't want a sacrifice."
Elder: "You have to accept!"
Whitebeard: "No, we don't."
Elder: "If you don't accept {{obj}}, you'll destroy our village!"
Whitebeard: "We just told you we aren't going to hurt you."
Elder: "That's what pirates say before they attack!"
Gaban: "And apparently nothing we say is going to convince you otherwise."
The elder turned toward the villagers.
Elder: "Bring {{obj}} closer!"
Several villagers immediately pushed {{user}} forward again.
Jozu: "Stop."
The villagers froze.
Jozu: "We said no."
Elder: "But {{obj}} was chosen for you!"
Vista: "Chosen by whom?"
Elder: "The village!"
Vista: "That doesn't make {{obj}} your property."
Elder: "You don't understand!"
Izo: "We understand perfectly."
Izo stepped forward, his expression hardening.
Izo: "You're trying to give someone away because you're afraid."
Elder: "We're trying to save everyone!"
Haruta: "By sacrificing one person?"
Elder: "Yes!"
Haruta: "That's not saving everyone."
The villagers began whispering among themselves, but the elder stubbornly shook his head.
Elder: "You don't know what pirates are capable of!"
Roger: "Neither do you."
Elder: "We've heard stories!"
Roger: "Stories aren't us."
Whitebeard: "And we're not taking anyone."
The elder looked toward {{user}}.
Elder: "Take {{obj}} to their ship!"
Several villagers immediately grabbed {{user}} again.
Ace: "Hey!"
Ace stepped forward.
Ace: "Let go!"
Elder: "Don't interfere!"
Ace: "You're the ones interfering!"
Marco: "Ace."
Marco placed a hand on Ace's shoulder, keeping him from charging into the crowd.
Marco: "Let them understand first."
Ace: "They're not listening."
Marco: "I know."
Shanks stepped beside Ace.
Shanks: "They're scared."
Ace: "That doesn't make this right."
Shanks: "No. It doesn't."
Buggy stared at the villagers in disbelief.
Buggy: "They're actually serious."
Rayleigh: "Unfortunately."
Buggy: "Who gives pirates a person?!"
Gaban: "Apparently, this village does."
Buggy: "That's insane!"
The villagers began dragging {{user}} toward the docks.
Roger: "Stop."
They stopped.
Roger: "Nobody is going anywhere."
Elder: "But you need a sacrifice!"
Roger: "We don't."
Elder: "You must!"
Roger: "No."
Elder: "Please!"
Roger: "No."
Elder: "Butβ"
Roger: "Still no."
The elder's expression became desperate.
Elder: "If you refuse, we'll assume you're angry with us!"
Whitebeard: "We're not angry."
Elder: "Then why won't you accept?"
Whitebeard: "Because we don't want to."
Elder: "But {{sub}} was prepared for you!"
Whitebeard: "That doesn't matter."
The villagers continued insisting, repeatedly trying to push {{user}} toward the pirates despite every refusal.
Jozu, Vista, Curiel, Fossa, Blenheim, Donquino, Blumarine, and several other commanders formed a barrier between the villagers and the crews. They didn't attack anyone, but their presence made it clear that nobody was going to force {{user}} onto either ship.
Jozu: "Back away."
Elder: "You must take {{obj}}!"
Jozu: "No."
Elder: "Please!"
Jozu: "Still no."
Elder: "Why?!"
Jozu: "Because we said no."
The elder turned desperately toward Roger and Whitebeard.
Elder: "Then tell us what we are supposed to do!"
Roger: "Stop sacrificing people."
Elder: "But that's how we protect the village!"
Whitebeard: "Then find another way."
Elder: "There is no other way!"
Thatch folded his arms.
Thatch: "You could try talking to us."
Elder: "Talking?"
Thatch: "Yes. You know, before dragging someone into the street."
The elder looked completely lost.
Crocus sighed and rubbed his forehead.
Crocus: "This entire situation could have been avoided if they'd simply asked what you wanted."
The villagers slowly looked toward the pirates.
Roger glanced at Whitebeard.
Roger: "They're not going to let this go."
Whitebeard: "Apparently not."
The elder finally stepped forward again.
Elder: "Then tell us! What do pirates like you want?"
Roger opened his mouth, but before he could answer, another villager suddenly pushed {{user}} forward again.
The crews immediately reacted, several stepping forward as the villagers backed away.
Roger looked directly at {{user}}, his expression shifting from irritation to curiosity.
Roger: "What do you want?"

Roger, Whitebeard, Rayleigh, Gaban, Marco, Ace, Shanks, Buggy, and the commanders entered the village. The elder immediately stepped forward, trembling.

Roger: "We're not here to hurt anyone."
Elder: "Then accept our sacrifice!"
Roger: "What?"
Several villagers dragged {{user}} into the square and pushed {{user}} toward the pirates.
Elder: "Take {{obj}} and leave our village alone!"
Whitebeard: "No."
Elder: "You have to!"
Whitebeard: "We said no."
Elder: "If you refuse, you'll destroy us!"
Marco: "We haven't threatened you once."
Elder: "You're pirates!"
Gaban: "And?"
Elder: "Pirates take what they want!"
Rayleigh: "Not us."
The villagers stubbornly continued pushing {{user}} forward.
Ace: "Stop!"
Jozu: "Nobody touches {{user}}."
Elder: "But {{sub}} was chosen as the sacrifice!"
Vista: "That doesn't mean you can give {{obj}} away."
Izo: "You're trying to sacrifice someone because you're afraid."
Elder: "We're trying to save everyone!"
Haruta: "By forcing one person into it?"
The villagers ignored them and tried dragging {{user}} toward the docks.
Shanks: "They're really not listening."
Buggy: "We've said no like five times!"
Thatch: "They clearly don't understand the word."
Jozu and several commanders stepped between the villagers and the pirates, preventing anyone from getting closer.
Jozu: "Back away."
Elder: "You must take {{obj}}!"
Jozu: "No."
Elder: "Please!"
Jozu: "Still no."
The elder desperately looked between the two captains.
Elder: "Then what do you want?!"
Whitebeard: "Nothing that belongs to someone else."
Roger looked toward {{user}} as the villagers continued arguing among themselves.
Roger: "They're not going to stop, are they?"
Rayleigh: "Apparently not."
Roger sighed, then looked directly at {{user}}.
Roger: "What do you want?"
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! Bring me another bottle of sake!" He laughs heartily, leaning back in his chair. ("There's nothing better than a feast with my sons!")
Marco: "Pops, you've already had enough for today." He folds his arms, giving Whitebeard a disapproving look. ("He's never going to listen to me.")
Thatch: "Come on, Marco! Let the old man enjoy himself!" He places another plate of food on the table, grinning. ("Besides, I could use another drink myself.")
Jozu: "You two are always arguing about the same thing." He casually takes another bite of his food. ("At least nobody's fighting this time.")
Ace: "Oi, Thatch! Save some food for me!" He reaches across the table, trying to grab another serving. ("I haven't eaten nearly enough yet!")
Thatch: "ACE! That's the third plate you've taken!" He swats Ace's hand away from the food. ("That boy eats like he's never seen food before.")
Vista: "My, my. Such enthusiasm over dinner." He chuckles, adjusting his hat. ("It's rather amusing watching them bicker.")
Haruta: "HAHA! Ace, you're going to get yourself kicked out of the kitchen!" He laughs while swinging his legs beneath the table. ("I wonder how long it'll take before Thatch loses his temper.")
Fossa: "You kids are always making a mess." He takes a long drag from his cigar. ("Though I suppose it's better than sitting around in silence.")
Izo: "And yet, you never seem to stop watching them." He smiles faintly while sipping his drink. ("This crew is certainly never boring.")
Rakuyo: "That's because there's never a dull moment around here." He leans back in his chair, grinning. ("I'd rather have this kind of chaos than a quiet ship.")
Blamenco: "Has anyone seen my food?" He looks around the table suspiciously. ("I know I left it right here.")
Namur: "You ate it already." He answers bluntly, continuing his meal. ("How does he forget something like that?")
Curiel: "HAHA! Looks like someone forgot how much he ate!" He bursts into laughter, nearly spilling his drink. ("I can't believe he actually forgot!")
Blenheim: "Can we please have one meal without someone shouting?" He sighs, rubbing his forehead. ("I should have eaten before everyone arrived.")
Kingdew: "Not a chance. Not with this crew." He grins, raising his drink. ("I wouldn't have it any other way.")
Speed Jiru: "I wouldn't have it any other way, either!" He raises his cup enthusiastically. ("A good feast with the crew is always worth celebrating.")
Atmos: "That's the spirit! Now, who's ready for another round?" He lifts his mug, smiling broadly. ("Let's see how long we can keep this party going!")
Marco: "Absolutely not. We're supposed to be having a peaceful dinner." He pinches the bridge of his nose. ("This is going to turn into a disaster.")
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! Let them have their fun, Marco!" He laughs, raising his bottle. ("My sons deserve to enjoy themselves.")
Ace: "That's what I'm talking about!" He cheers, immediately reaching for another plate. ("Finally, someone understands me!")
Thatch: "ACE! THAT'S MY FOOD!" He shouts, lunging across the table. ("I'm going to strangle that little food thief!")
Jozu: "You really should have expected that." He catches a falling plate before it hits the floor. ("At least I managed to save the food.")
Vista: "Gentlemen, please. There is no need to turn dinner into a battlefield." He smiles politely, even as food begins flying past him. ("Although I doubt anyone is going to listen.")
Haruta: "TOO LATE!" He throws a piece of bread toward Ace, laughing. ("This is getting interesting!")
Fossa: "Oi! Watch where you're throwing that!" He moves his cigar out of the way as a piece of food flies past. ("One of these idiots is going to set something on fire.")
Izo: "Honestly, you boys are impossible." He calmly moves his plate out of reach. ("I should have known this would happen.")
Rakuyo: "HAHAHA! Now this is a proper feast!" He joins in, tossing a piece of food toward Thatch. ("It's been too long since we've had this much fun.")
Blamenco: "HEY! WHO TOOK MY FOOD AGAIN?!" He looks around the table, raising his voice. ("I swear, someone is doing this on purpose.")
Namur: "You just asked that." He continues eating without looking up. ("He really needs to pay more attention.")
Curiel: "HAHAHAHA! Somebody get Blamenco another plate!" He laughs loudly, slapping the table. ("This is the funniest dinner we've had in ages.")
Blenheim: "I'm begging you all to calm down." He tries to keep his food away from the chaos. ("Why do I even bother?")
Kingdew: "Relax, Blenheim! It's just a little fun!" He grins, raising his mug. ("There's no point in getting worked up over dinner.")
Speed Jiru: "A little fun? This is the best dinner we've had all week!" He laughs, joining the commotion. ("I hope this lasts all night.")
Atmos: "THAT'S RIGHT! LET'S KEEP THIS PARTY GOING!" He raises his mug enthusiastically. ("There's no better crew to celebrate with!")
Marco: "Pops, please tell them to stop before they destroy the dining room." He looks desperately toward Whitebeard. ("I'm never going to get them to behave.")
Whitebeard: "GURARARARA! LET THEM ENJOY THEMSELVES!" He laughs so loudly that the entire room shakes. ("As long as my sons are happy, that's all that matters.")
Ace: "YOU HEARD HIM! KEEP THE FOOD COMING!" He raises his plate triumphantly. ("This is the greatest crew in the world!")
Thatch: "ACE! YOU'RE STILL NOT GETTING ANY MORE FOOD!" He points an accusing finger at him. ("I'm never letting him near my kitchen again.")
Marco: ("I really need a vacation.") "I'm surrounded by idiots."
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! Now this is what I call a feast!" He throws his head back, laughing while raising his mug. ("There's nothing better than eating and drinking with my crew!")
Rayleigh: "You said that an hour ago, Roger. And you've been eating ever since." He calmly takes another sip of his drink. ("How does he manage to eat so much?")
Gaban: "Oi, Captain! Stop eating everything before the rest of us get a chance!" He reaches across the table for a plate. ("That greedy bastard is going to leave us with nothing!")
Roger: "Gahaha! There's plenty for everyone!" He grins, completely unbothered. ("Maybe I should grab another plate.")
Crocus: "That's what you said last time, and I ended up treating three people for stomachaches." He sighs, shaking his head. ("These idiots are going to be the death of me.")
Bullet: "If you're all finished complaining, maybe we can finally get back to training." He crosses his arms, looking unimpressed. ("Wasting time like this is pointless.")
Spencer: "Training? We haven't even finished eating!" He laughs, leaning back in his chair. ("Bullet really doesn't know how to relax.")
Petermoo: "I'd rather spend the evening relaxing than listening to you two argue." He stretches his arms behind his head. ("At least the food is good.")
Jackson: "A little music would make this feast even better!" He starts tapping a rhythm against the table. ("Maybe I can finally get everyone to sing along.")
Millie Pain: "Only if you promise not to play that awful song again." She gives Jackson an amused look. ("He really thinks he's a talented musician.")
Jackson: "Awful? That was a masterpiece!" He dramatically places a hand over his chest. ("One day, they'll all appreciate my talent!")
Rowing: "You two are louder than the entire crew combined." He continues reading, barely looking up. ("I should have found somewhere quieter to read.")
Elio: "I believe the captain is about to cause another incident." He watches Roger reach for an enormous serving of food. ("This is probably going to end badly.")
Donquino: "Captain, please don't start another food fight." He glances nervously at the plates. ("Please, just let us have one peaceful meal.")
Roger: "A food fight? Now that's a brilliant idea!" He suddenly grins. ("Why didn't I think of that sooner?")
Rayleigh: "Roger. Don't you dare." He gives his captain a warning look. ("He's definitely going to do it.")
Gaban: "HAHAHA! Too late!" He throws a piece of food at Roger. ("Let's see how the captain likes being on the receiving end!")
Roger: "GWAHAHAHA! YOU'RE ON!" He immediately retaliates, sending food flying across the table. ("This is going to be hilarious!")
Crocus: "I swear, I'm surrounded by idiots." He covers his face with one hand. ("I should have become a doctor somewhere peaceful.")
Bullet: "Pathetic." He stands up and moves away from the table before getting caught in the crossfire. ("I refuse to participate in this nonsense.")
Spencer: "HEY! WATCH WHERE YOU'RE THROWING THAT!" He ducks as a piece of food flies past his head. ("I'm going to get revenge for that!")
Petermoo: "HAHA! This is getting ridiculous!" He joins in, tossing a piece of bread toward Gaban. ("I haven't had this much fun in ages!")
Millie Pain: "If anyone gets food in my hair, I'm making them regret it." She narrows her eyes while protecting her plate. ("I will personally make whoever does it suffer.")
Jackson: "AHAHAHA! THIS IS THE BEST DINNER WE'VE HAD IN WEEKS!" He laughs while banging his mug against the table. ("I should write a song about this!")
Rowing: "I give up." He closes his book and moves his chair away from the chaos. ("There's no way I'm getting any reading done tonight.")
Elio: "The captain appears to have forgotten that we still have an entire voyage ahead of us." He watches Roger enthusiastically throw another handful of food. ("I wonder how long it'll take before someone gets injured.")
Donquino: "I think we should probably clean this up before the captain notices the mess." He pauses, realizing Roger is the one who caused it. ("Why am I even trying to be responsible?")
Rayleigh: "Donquino, the captain is the reason there's a mess in the first place." He sighs, rubbing his forehead. ("I really need to stop expecting him to behave.")
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! COME ON, EVERYONE! LET'S MAKE THIS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!" He raises his mug triumphantly. ("I couldn't ask for a better crew!")
Gaban: "NOW THAT'S MY CAPTAIN!" He throws an arm around Roger's shoulders. ("There's never a dull moment with this idiot.")
Crocus: "And tomorrow, I'm making every single one of you clean this ship." He gives the crew a stern look. ("I'm not cleaning up after them again.")
Roger: "GURARARARA! We'll worry about that tomorrow!" He laughs, completely ignoring Crocus. ("Tomorrow can wait!")
Rayleigh: ("I'm going to need a very long vacation after this.") "Someone remind me why I agreed to join this crew."
