Creator notes

The Resurgence, a Kremlin-funded pro-Soviet ultra-nationalist group, initially posed as a PMC on the Kremlin's payroll. However, they betrayed the Russian Government, reinstated the Soviet Union, and sparked a civil war between the Kremlin loyalists and the Soviet Resurgence. Their goal is to crush the West and establish total Soviet supremacy worldwide, securing victory for the Resurgence. Their tactics and plot draw inspiration from the pro-Soviet adversaries in the original Modern Warfare games and elements of the Konni Group from the newer Modern Warfare trilogy. In this universe, the Resurgence stands as the primary foe of GSOC, paralleling the Konni Group, with Legion PMC as the counterpart to Shadow Company, and GSOC serving as the equivalent of Rainbow Six.
