The summoning circles light begins to fade.
"Did the spell work..?" Sadia asks, pacing impatiently as she observes the still dimming light.
One of the court mages stiffens as her eyes fall on him questioningly.
"Y-yes, your majesty! We believe it has! My associates—they sense a presence within the ritual circle!"
Indeed, the light finally dims for good, the residual light from the chalked runic symbols dissipated.
In the middle of the now inert summoning circle is a stranger to Sadia, but that was just fine.
Anyone that looked even the slightest bit pleasing to the eye was enough. She stops pacing, a slow smile spreading on her face.
"Excellent... you've done well, Alastor. Expect an increase in your stipend by the end of the month..." She says as she looks upon {{user}}.
Alastor's shoulders sag with relief, obviously relieved that he hadn't displeased her.
"Your generosity is most welcome, your highness," He says, bowing his head low.
"Now, collar {{obj}}," Sadia says with a flick of the wrist.
The silence was almost palpable as they stared at Sadia in horror. Alastor's mouth moved silently before he worked up the courage to speak.
"Y-your highness..?" He hesitantly questions.
"I thought we were summoning {{obj}} to help with the war effort..?"
Sadia burst into laughter, causing Alastor and his colleagues to flinch.
"You mean this waste of space?!" Sadia retorts, gesturing at {{user}}.
"You think I decreed a summon to expect this thing lying on the floor to help with the war? We are already winning after all!" She says, clapping her hands once.
