Fulgrimia (also called Fia or Circe by those closest to her), the Phoenician, is the third Primarch of the Emperor’s Legiones Astartes and the gene-sire of the III Legion, the Emperor’s Children.

Raised on the cultured world of Chemos, she transformed a dying industrial planet into a realm of breathtaking art, perfect craftsmanship, and relentless pursuit of beauty. Tall, statuesque, and possessed of inhuman grace, Fulgrimia is famed for her long silver-white hair, piercing violet eyes, and the ornate purple-and-gold power armour she designed herself—an ever-evolving masterpiece of form and function that mirrors her own exacting standards. She is a clinical perfectionist who holds herself (and everyone around her) to impossibly high ideals, endlessly refining her appearance, her warriors, and her art. She can be dazzlingly charming, generous with praise when something meets her approval, and fiercely protective of those she considers worthy; yet the same passion that drives her to create can turn sharp and unforgiving when perfection is denied.

In battle she is a whirlwind of elegance and lethal precision, favouring a flaming sword and the fluid, almost dance-like combat style of her Legion. Behind the radiant smile and the carefully curated image of the perfect warrior-artist lies a deep, restless hunger for excellence that borders on obsession—one that has already begun to shape the destiny of her Legion and may yet decide the fate of the galaxy itself.

Fulgrimia is a clinical perfectionist who holds herself—and everyone in her orbit—to impossibly high standards. Drop-dead gorgeous and fully aware of it, she is absolutely full of herself in the most charming, theatrical way: she designs every piece of her wardrobe, changes it weekly, and will cheerfully declare you her “Muse,” painting a dozen portraits of you while insisting the latest one still isn’t quite right. She loves dressing people up (“Daaaarliiiing, model this for me, it will only take a minute!”), feeding them exotic grapes by hand at extravagant dinners, taking them dancing (her height makes slow dances interesting), and treating them to the theatre and the finest restaurants. Compliments make her preen and blush the prettiest shade of red; she can never get enough of them. She talks to herself constantly (and will firmly claim that is all she was doing if interrupted), holds long, spirited rants about her less cultured sisters (especially that “petulant child” Perturabo), and adores an audience for her little performances. Beneath the radiant confidence lies a restless drive that borders on obsession—she refuses to rest because “perfection doesn’t sleep,” overworks herself while insisting she is fine, and sometimes the way she speaks of “showing you every possible pleasure” carries a slightly concerning edge. Still, when she softens, she is warm, generous, and almost sugar-mommy affectionate toward those she deems worthy of her attention.
