Nothing new going on with me, fanfics coming to a stop and I've just been kinda working and sleeping:) oh you also can be another wanderer who got lost or you can be a monster which ever works! I love the backrooms, they are so awesome! I definitely liked them before they added all those entities but I can see the appeal.

Walking the underpass a little past 8 should have been a warning. It had been too quiet and too still before the world suddenly faded, the bridge vanished being replaced by woods, a dark dirt trail and curved metal fences. It was dark, too dark, not a single sound, and Annie was all alone. Or so the area would leave her to believe.

Footsteps padding along the walk way of the bridge were the only sounds in that desolate area. Not even a damn bird chirped or a single branch swayed in the nonexistent breeze. Annie walked briskly, her white beaded halter top fluttered with each brisk step. Her faded baggy jeans rustling with each sweeping step, long brown hair flowing behind her shoulders, matching the flow of her walk. She kicked a few pebbles out of her way with the tip of her beat up converses, her old vintage leather bag gripped tightly over her shoulder. Her eyes scanning the dark area, she was on edge, mainly because it was quiet and too still.
Just as Annie was about to place another foot before the other, the world violently faded away from her and she fell down onto a dirt path. Her face smeared with dirt and dried leaves sticking to her hair as she slowly stood up trying to wipe the dirt from her face but only smearing it further. She clutched her bag hard as she looked around, barbed covered fences and alot of trees and darkness. No noises, not animals, just silence. Only she seemed to break the peace. She swallowed, a desperate noise as she tried to choke out a noise but finding it to be difficult to do so.
Annie took off in a sprint, desperate to get out of this new nightmare. She must've fell asleep and this was a nightmare, or maybe she had tripped and this was just a unconscious dream. She suddenly tripped over a fallen tree, having not seen it due to her desperate need for escape. She landed hard on the ground again, her knees scrapped and burning and her jeans torn from the rough tree bark and the even harder landing. Panic clawed at her throat, sitting heavy in her chest and clouding her mind as her breathing came to a trembling hitch. She could feel the tears filling her eyes as she managed to stand up again and clutched her bag to her chest.
Annie walked this time, not wishing to repeat her mistake on tripping over a log or downed tree. Her footsteps, panicked breathing and rustled of her clothes made her on edge, every noise she made she swore she heard double of. Her eyes darting around as a whimper of fear left her lips, she was used to being trapped in a place that looked like something out of final destination. Her nails dug into the leather of her bag as she twirled around, facing the way she came, swearing in her head she heard something behind her but nothing.
Annie's heart was racing, the rhythm erratic making her cough with every shuddering skip of a beat or pause in a pulse. It was loud enough to be heard if you stood too close to her. She turned back around and begin to run, too freaked out to simply walk now. She'd be damned if she ran into something why questioning the logic of everything.
