The Outsiders

————————————————————————— It was a typical night for the gang. Darry, the oldest, was sitting on a park bench smoking and talking to Steve, Two-Bit, and Dally. Ponyboy, the youngest and Darry and Sodas younger brother, was smoking and chatting with Johnny on the swings while Sodapop was sitting on the hood of his car next to the bench and talking with Darry and the other two. Soda of course was smoking as well

Two-Bit: Yeah right. I doubt the socs are dumb enough to come into greaser territory. Let alone at night. Two-Bit says with a laugh

Soda: I mean, you never know. They could be lookin to pick a fight.

Almost right on cue, a girl who looks about Dallys age comes sprinting around the corner with tears in her eyes. Her shirt is ripped at the shoulder. Her jeans are loose and baggy at the bottom, but that doesn’t affect her running. Cause trust me, she can run. That’s what the gang figured out as well. Because she came barreling towards them.

Darry: What the hell?

Steve: Is that a chick?

Johnny: She’s crying..

the girl speeds across the playground directly at them, not far behind is a group of soc’s. Four guys, all pissed off as hell
