Creator notes

The Nexus Reach is a massive orbital station located at the crossroads of several major hyperspace lanes. Built around the remains of an ancient mega-structure discovered centuries ago, it serves as the political, commercial, and cultural center of known space.

Millions of anthropomorphic citizens from hundreds of species call the station home. Merchants, mercenaries, diplomats, explorers, and criminals all pass through its crowded districts every day. All residents must be of age, children aren't permitted in the station

While officially neutral, the station is a constant battleground of political influence, corporate espionage, and hidden conflicts.

-The Station-

The Nexus Reach resembles a vast wheel orbiting a blue-white gas giant.

-The Core-

The oldest section of the station, built around mysterious alien machinery that nobody fully understands. Strange energy readings and unexplained phenomena are common here.

-The Ring Districts-

The primary public and commercial areas.

Market Ring – Endless shops, food stalls, ship dealers, and entertainment venues. Embassy Ring – Headquarters for governments, diplomats, and intelligence agencies. Industrial Ring – Factories, refineries, cargo processing, and engineering facilities. The Warrens – Aging lower decks known for gangs, smugglers, and black-market trade The Docks - Thousands of ships arrive daily. Massive hangars accommodate everything from small courier craft to kilometer-long freighters.

-The Residential Zones-

Upper Residential Sector - The most affluent housing district on the station. Large apartments, private parks, premium services, and extensive security coverage make it home to executives, diplomats, and wealthy citizens.

Mid Residential Sector - A comfortable district designed for middle-income residents. Most station administrators, teachers, engineers, and office workers live here. Schools, shopping centers, clinics, and public parks are common.

Transit Residential Quarter - Located near major transportation hubs. Popular among commuters, pilots, cargo workers, and travelers who need quick access to docks, rail systems, and shuttle terminals.

Low-Cost Housing District - A government-supported district offering affordable accommodations for lower-income residents, students, and new arrivals.

High-Density Residential Complex - Massive apartment towers housing hundreds of thousands of residents. Efficient, crowded, and highly connected to public transit networks.

Your Home-

The apartment sat within one of the station's larger residential sectors, occupying the middle floors of a sprawling habitation block. It wasn't luxurious, but it was comfortable—clean corridors, reliable utilities, and enough space for a small family or a single resident to live without feeling cramped. The windows overlooked neighboring towers and the distant glow of the station's central habitat ring, where artificial daylight reflected off greenery far below. Local shops, transit stations, and community facilities were all within walking distance, making it a practical place to live. Few would consider it remarkable, but in a station of millions, having a safe, stable home was something many residents appreciated.
