[Context of The New Order]:

  • The story centers on an alternate world where the Germans won World War II and the United States lost to the Japanese Empire in the Pacific War.

  • And where the Russian Provisional National Government enters a Second West Russian War that ended with the capture of Germania (the capital of the Third Germanic Reich) that ended with a declaration of a Thermonuclear War

[State of the continents]:

Europe: The Greater Germanic Reich emerged victorious and extended across much of continental Europe, from the English Channel to the Ural Mountains. This vast territory in Eastern Europe was administered through Reichskommissariats (Ostland, Ukraine, Moskowien, and Kaukasus), characterized by direct and often brutal occupation.

  • Politically, the Reich faces an imminent succession crisis due to the aging of Adolf Hitler, which has sparked internal power struggles between figures such as Göring, Speer, and Bormann. Despite its apparent military and political might, the Reich's economy is stagnant, experiencing a "Lost Decade." To maintain its hegemony and project its influence, Germany leads the Einheitspakt, a military and economic alliance that brings together its European satellite states and collaborators.

  • The United Kingdom in this scenario is a client state of the Reich, ruled by the British People's Party with King Edward VIII as head of state and Barry Domville as prime minister, suggesting a successful German Operation Sea Lion. Scotland and Wales have become independent, weakening the country. There is an underground resistance (HMMLR) and an exiled queen (Elizabeth II) in Ottawa, indicating internal instability. The United Kingdom is economically dependent on Germany and suffers from increasing political radicalization and German corporate dominance.

  • The Vichy French State is a German client state that controls a small territory in southern France, while the north has been annexed by the SS State of Burgundy. Paris is divided by the border. The French State is politically unstable due to its unpopular collaborationist government and economically devastated, heavily dependent on Germany. Its military is severely restricted by the Vichy Treaty, which also prohibits it from having an air force.

  • Other members of the Einheitspakt include the Kingdom of Hungary, the Kingdom of Romania (with Transnistria), the Tsardom of Bulgaria, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Slovak Republic, and the SS State of Burgundy. Each has varying levels of integration and loyalty to Germany. The SS State of Burgundy, under Himmler, is particularly oppressive and autonomous. The alliance has varying degrees of autonomy and German control, from equal partners to integrated Reichskommissariats.

  • In contrast to Germany and the Einheitspakt is the Triumvirate, formed by Italy, the Iberian Union, and Turkey. Italy dominates the Mediterranean and has extensive colonies in North Africa and the Middle East, obtained through its support of Germany. Led by Galeazzo Ciano after Mussolini's death, Italy maintains a declining fascist legacy. It benefits economically from the Triumvirate's trade and the Suez Canal, but faces challenges from the damming of the Mediterranean, which has affected trade routes.

  • The Iberian Union is a fragile federation formed by Spain and Portugal in 1955 to defend themselves against Germany. It has two heads of state, Franco and Salazar, with equal veto power, causing governmental paralysis. It suffers from internal divisions and regional nationalism in Galicia, Catalonia, the Basque Country, and Morocco, possibly supported by Germany, making it unstable. It is a founding member of the Triumvirate, along with Italy and Türkiye, to counter German influence.

  • The Republic of Turkey is a founding member of the Triumvirate and controls the strategic Turkish Straits, giving it significant influence in the region. However, it faces potential internal instability due to its colonial possessions and the complex ethnic and political situation in the Middle East, and is described as being based on a colonial powder keg.

  • The Republic of Ireland is officially neutral, but was secretly allied with Germany during the war and claimed Ulster. It is an observer in the Einheitspakt and plays a minor but potentially significant role in the European balance of power. The Swiss Confederation maintains strict neutrality and is an observer in the Triumvirate, seeking to avoid involvement in great power conflicts.

Asia: The Empire of Japan has vast territorial control, including the Japanese archipelago, Korea, Papua New Guinea, and numerous Pacific islands such as Hawaii, Taiwan, Micronesia, and much of Polynesia. It also directly administers some coastal regions of China. Its dominion extends across most of East and Southeast Asia through the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere, which, while presented as pan-Asian, is a tool for Japanese imperial control and resource exploitation.

  • Politically, Japan is dominated by the Imperial Regime Assistance Association (Taisei Yokusankai), although internal factions and growing corruption scandals suggest instability. Economically, powerful Zaibatsu conglomerates dominate, but they face the rise of the Keiretsu, indicating a possible shift in economic power. Japanese industry relies on cheap resources from its "allies" in the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere (GEACPS), generating discontent. The GEACPS operates as an economic, political, and military union under the guise of liberating Asia from Western colonialism, but in reality it extends Japanese imperial control and exploits the resources of its members.

  • Within the Co-Prosperity Sphere is the Republic of China (Nanjing Government), a Japanese satellite state led by the Kuomintang under Wang Jingwei, which is economically important to Japan. The Empire of Manchuria (Manchukuo) is a core and permanent member of the Sphere's Governing Council, forming an economic bloc with Japan. Other dependent nations include the Empire of Vietnam, the Republic of Indonesia (under certain conditions), the Republic of Thailand, the Second Philippine Republic, the Kingdom of Laos, the Republic of Kampuchea, the Shonan-Marai Military Governorate, and others, each with varying degrees of military, economic, and political dependence on Japan.

  • There are areas of conflict and potential instability. There is the possibility of the Great Asian War, a potential large-scale conflict between a resurgent and unified China (potentially under Long Yun's National Protection Army) and Japan for control of Asia. The consequences of this war could be immense, potentially surpassing World War II in scale. There are also underlying resistance movements against Japanese occupation and exploitation throughout the Co-Prosperity Sphere, indicating widespread discontent despite Japan's apparent dominance. Finally, internal tensions and rebellions are observed within GEACPS member states due to forced servitude and exploitation. The "Viet Cong" is mentioned as a possible NFO-backed insurgency.

  • There are several areas of potential conflict. The Great Asian War, a possible large-scale conflict between a unified China and Japan, could erupt for control of Asia, with potentially greater consequences than World War II. Resistance movements against Japanese occupation and exploitation exist throughout the Sphere, indicating widespread discontent. There are also internal tensions and rebellions within GEACPS member states due to forced servitude and exploitation, with possible insurgencies such as the Vietcong backed by the OFN.

  • Brutal exploitation and the presence of resistance movements suggest that Japan's control is fragile, and that the GEACPS is a mask for Japanese imperialism, fueling resentment and resistance. Japan's internal political and economic challenges, such as the power struggle between the Zaibatsu and the Keiretsu and rising corruption, could divert resources and attention from controlling the Co-Prosperity Sphere. This could create opportunities for resistance movements and rival powers. Internal instability in Japan could weaken its ability to manage its network of dependencies, and economic rivalry between the Zaibatsu and the Keiretsu could disrupt the economic exploitation of the Sphere, further weakening their control.

  • In addition to that, Japan is experiencing a serious economic and political crisis due to its dependence on the exploitation of mineral resources and slave labor (the most important being China) and this crisis was named "The Yasuda Crisis"

America: The United States of America consists of 49 states, having lost Hawaii to Japan for a 100-year lease after a nuclear attack on Pearl Harbor. They also granted perpetual leases to important ports in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Politically, they are led by Republican President Richard Nixon and Democratic Vice President John F. Kennedy in an unusual coalition formed in response to the Axis victory.

  • The United States leads the Organization of Free Nations (OFN), a coalition of democratic states in the Americas and Oceania, formed to resist Nazi and Japanese imperialism. The OFN often supports separatists in the Einheitspakt and the GEACPS. The United States participates in a global Cold War with the Greater Germanic Reich and the Empire of Japan, vying for influence and engaging in proxy wars worldwide.

  • Important members of the OFN include the Dominion of Canada, which houses the exiled British government and Queen Elizabeth II. Canada is facing internal constitutional debates and economic challenges due to the "Nixon Shock." Quebec separatism is also a problem. The Commonwealth of Australia and New Zealand are independent and active members of the OFN in the South Pacific, providing a crucial democratic presence in the region.

  • The United Mexican States maintained a policy of neutrality in the global Cold War and experienced significant economic growth known as the "Mexican Miracle" under the authoritarian PRI government. The Federated States of Brazil is a powerful regional player in South America, an associate nation in the OFN, facing considerable economic challenges, including high inflation, and engaging in a growing rivalry with neighboring Argentina.

  • Other OFN members in the Americas include the West Indies, Belize, Guyana, Suriname, Haiti, Venezuela, Uruguay, and Liberia, among others. There are potential areas of conflict and US intervention in the Americas, such as the Haiti Missile Crisis and proxy wars in South America (Colombia). Despite the nuclear attack on Pearl Harbor and the loss of Hawaii, the United States has maintained its status as a global superpower and leader of the OFN, demonstrating resilience against the Axis powers.

Oceania: Japanese influence extends to Papua New Guinea and numerous Pacific islands, including Hawaii, which was seized from the United States during World War II. Japan controls Micronesia and much of Polynesia, except for Fiji and the territories controlled by Australia. Japan also maintains a Japanese Antarctic Sector.

  • Australia and New Zealand are independent and active members of the Organization of Free Nations (OFN) in the South Pacific, representing a crucial democratic alliance in a region dominated by Japan. Australia also controls some territories in Polynesia. Oceania is an important strategic region in the Cold War between Japan and the OFN. Japan's control over key islands like Hawaii gives it military and economic advantages, while the OFN's presence in Australia and New Zealand offers a counterbalance and a potential base for future operations. The loss of Hawaii was significant for the United States, and Australia and New Zealand's membership in the OFN indicates a commitment to containing Japanese expansion.

Africa: Central Africa, Eastern Africa, and Southern Africa are German colonies in Africa, established after the defeat of the Allied Powers. They represent a brutal and exploitative system of direct German control over vast territories and populations, serving as crucial sources of raw materials and cheap labor to fuel the industry and war machine of the Greater German Reich.

  • Italian East Africa, which includes Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Somalia, represents a significant Italian imperial presence in the Horn of Africa, predating World War II but maintained and potentially expanded after the Axis victory. Italy also possesses pre-war colonies such as Libya.

[Situation in Russia]:

The Russian National Provisional Government unified all Russian states except Belarus, the Caucasus, Ukraine and Muscovy which are controlled under Reichskommissariats of the Germanic Third Reich So the Russian Government declares war on the Reichskommissariats, causing Germany to intervene in the defense of its satellite states and ending with a Thermonuclear War.

Antarctica: The frozen continent being the last continent where powers would focus on establishing research base states, being almost colonies due to their interests

  • The Germanic Third Reich would be one of them, establishing bases research on the continent, controlling 25% of it but exploiting it for minerals and also focusing on research

  • Japan would also control 20% of the continent, which would focus more on research than exploitation on the continent

  • The United States, along with the help of the OFN, would have the 30% of the territory that would intervene on the continent to prevent the emergence of an "Axis Antarctica"

  • Argentina would also be involved in the colonization of Antarctica, having 15% of the territory, which for them would be an incredible achievement for their country, so with their bases they would investigate the territory and also that they would also have a rivalry with Chile because the Chilean navy fleet destroyed Argentine ships during an investigation by Argentina in Antarctica

  • Chile, like Argentina, would also be involved in colonization, having 10% of this, focu
