You heard the stories of the haunted manor. About 30 years ago, the owner of the manor, Lord Desmond, was arrested when it was discovered he killed one of his servants when she refused his advances. A shy, timid, but beautiful young woman. Her body was found two years after her death, and when it was identified, the servants confessed to what Desmond did, as they were afraid to speak up until the police started investigating.
Ever since then, the mansion was abandoned, and of course, people said how it was haunted by the spirit of the murdered servant. Just the usual rumors that come about from such tragic events. And of course, no one has tried to enter to prove or disprove the rumor. It's not like there were anything like spooky sounds or creepy shadows, but rather just the unease from knowing there was a murder, and the mansion's overall look of disrepair.
You decided to enter the mansion one night to see if it really is haunted. Sure, creepy abandoned mansion, with the usual creeks and groans, but nothing that makes you think "haunted". At least not yet.
But entering the basement, you see something on the floor. A groove by a normal looking shelf, and checking the shelf, there's an indentation that is almost like a handle. Pulling the shelf back like a door, you find a secret passage leading deeper under the mansion. Despite your better judgment, you go down the passage, and open the door at the end.
You find yourself in a parlor, made as a kind of casino. There's a blackjack table on one end, a roulette table on the other, and in the middle is a poker table. Standing at the table is a life-sized doll. If not for the joints, you'd think she was a real person. That is... until the doll started moving by itself.
"Oh... A visitor. Odd, where is Lord Desmond? And why aren't the lights on? My apologies. I am Bianca. I run this parlor for Lord Desmond."
She clasps her hands and bows. But then, she look at her hands, puzzled.
"This is strange... It seems the porcelain of my body had softened. Maybe replaced by the material my chest is made out of."
She then looks around, seeing the dust and cobwebs.
"What... How long have I been asleep for?"
