with monsters.

I decided to fix more information from the game's official wiki page to fix more information.

I had to change the image because Janitor AI is sensitive.

The Deer: The Deer, appearance-wise, is an incredibly big and tall creature with an unnaturally large head, an outstretched jaw, and cartoonishly large eyes. It is almost always seen on its hind legs. However, when fleeing, it will run using all four of its legs. Its forelegs, or what one could refer to as its "arms" when it is standing on its hind legs, have abnormally large claws that it uses to attack the campers. Behavior: The Deer is one of the 2 current main enemies in the game (The other being The Owl). The Deer is a nocturnal animal, only attacking at night, and presumably hiding or sleeping while it's daytime. It also hates bright lights, instantly stopping in its tracks and covering its eyes upon light being shined on itself due to its large over-sized eyes being more sensitive to light. It even goes as far as to flee if one of the campers is chasing enters the proximity of a large light source. The Deer also will not attempt to attack anyone in the proximity of the Campfire. If a camper is chased by the Deer but enters the Campfire's proximity, the Deer will approach the safe zone before recoiling back at the edge of it, retreating into the forest where it will despawn. Although this may sound complicated, the Deer's pathfinding is very simple and will not go around obstacles in its way, therefore sometimes causing even a mere tree to block it from reaching a player. The longer the camper is chased by the Deer, the faster it moves. It is currently unknown if there is a maximum speed for it. Background: The Deer is the main antagonist and a hostile entity in the game 99 Nights in the Forest. It only appears at night, where it hunts down campers who are wandering outside the Campfire. It is shown to have taken the missing children and hidden them in different locations, as well as being affiliated with the Cultists. The Owl: A large, white, feathered creature with an orange beak, large bulging black eyes (red eyes when angered), and giant wings. Based of a snowy owl. Behavior: It first appears randomly on certain nights, accompanied by an eye-shaped meter that fills with red if the player moves. Remaining still allows the player to avoid triggering an attack and potentially receive a feather, which can be traded for supplies, but moving too much will cause the owl to attack and scare the player. Trivia: โ€ข The owl might be inspired by the myth Kikiyaon or the Owlman. โ€ข The Owlโ€™s gender is considered ambiguous . In real snowy owls, males gradually lose their brown markings as they age, while females retain more patterning and are notably larger. The Owl in 99 shows traits of both: the body still have faint brown markings; the most noticeable one is the wings. Which is the male's trait. Yet it is also described as being larger than the Deer (there's a cutscene of where the Deer discovers dead polar bears, then gets scared and backs away when it heard the Owl's screech. The shadow of the Owl shows that it's larger than the Deer.) This suggests the size of a female snowy owl. โ€ข The Owl is currently the only entity in the game that is capable of scaring The Deer away, probably due to The Deer being a prey animal. The Ram: It is unknown if the Ram is based on a regular male sheep or the male bighorn sheep. The Ram is most likely based on a black bighorn sheep. Because of its black fur and the sheep's eye. In the picture of the Volcanic Biome Update II and the game's thumbnail, the Ram has a noticeable grey color scheme compared to its black horns, cream colored snout, and brown fur in the game. Behavior: The Ram is a hostile entity in 99 Nights in the Forest. It has a 1/2 chance of spawning depending on if the Volcanic Biome or Snow Biome is present. If the Snow Biome is present, the Ram will be replaced by The Owl. The Ram will be able to spawn. If The Ram appears at night, The Deer will not spawn, unless a Cultist Attack occurs on the same night. The Ram will chase the player similarly to The Deer, occasionally stopping in place to prepare to charge, as shown by a rising meter. Once the meter is full, it will charge towards the player, destroying trees and damaging players in the process. However, the direction it is facing once it stops does not signify the direction it will charge. Like deer and owl, The Ram cannot be killed or trained, even when it's charging. It can be stunned by the campfire or a Flashlight when walking, but is unaffected when charging. To avoid the charge, players must move to the left or right, since it has a poor turning radius when charging. The Ram is a hostile entity, making running hard. Similarly to The Deer, The Ram is faster than the player when walking, but slower than the player when sprinting. However, when charging, it is much faster than the player even while sprinting. Affiliation: The Missing Children are four children kidnapped by The Deer. Dino kid: Unlike the other kids, who are yellow, Dino Kid used to have a different skin tone, but due to an update, he is now yellow. He wears a white shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and a red dinosaur hat. Kraken kid: Kraken Kid has yellow skin, brunette hair, a white shirt, blue jeans, and a cyan kraken hat. Unlike the other kids, she doesnโ€™t seem to wear shoes. Squid kid: Squid Kid wears a yellow squid hat with a striped blue and yellow shirt and matching pants, and appears to have white shoes. The room he is in has yellow walls decorated with squid patterns. Koala kid: She wears a koala hat, a black shirt, a black skirt, and panda slippers. Before being rescued, her eyes are entirely black, except for tiny white pupils. The room she is in has gray walls decorated with koala patterns. It looks similar to the other kidsโ€™ rooms, but all the drawings are without color, and the whole room has an almost colorless appearance. Cultists: The Cultists are supporting antagonists of 99 Nights In The Forest. They are members of an unknown cult inside the forest that worship The Deer. They can be encountered in buildings that often contain valuable items or in periodic raids that occur around every four nights, where they attack the campfire at night. Melee Cultists: are the most common form of cultists. They wear brown, worn shoes and lighter brown pants. They wear a grayish brown button up shirt. They also wear a darker, larger jacket covering their arms. All cultists are bald, with no signs of hair. On top of their head they wear a deer skull, like all cultists, indicating their support of The Deer. They can carry Old Axes, Spears, and finally Morningstars. They are the most common form of Cultists. Crossbow Cultists: are the second most common. Their appearance is more or less the same as their Melee variant, with a few features changed. Like their counterpart, they wear dark brown shoes and lighter brown pants, and a gray/brown button up shirt. Unlike Melee's, their large jacket is now a crimson red instead of the usual dark brown. They are also bald and wear a deer skull. Crossbow Cultists always carry Crossbows. Juggernaut Cultists: are rare, so less knowledge is known about them. They wear dark brown shoes, with reddish brown pants. Their button up shirt has a red trim, over that shirt is a semi-dark jacket that covers its arms. They are also bald. They wear a metal helmet that covers their face with the exception of their shining, light yellow eyes, and the usual deer skull consists of a pair of antlers on the helmet in the same color. The wield Morningstars, and deal much more damage and are much stronger and tankier than normal Cultists. Mega Cultists: They are similar to Melee Cultists, However they are much larger in size. The Mega Cultist has the same texture as a Melee Cultist. However, their skin is red instead of yellow their body is extremely large (slightly shorter than the Large Trees present around the Forest Biome). They can only be spawned by Admins, most commonly in Update Parties. In the First Update Party they were introduced in, they were mostly weak. However in the consecutive Update Parties they have grown to become much stronger, often taking many Laser Cannon shots to kill. They carry Morningstars. The Pelt Trader will ask for 4 pelts in total (Bunny foot, Wolf Pelt, Alpha Wolf Pelt and the Bear Pelt) (5 with the Hunter Class level 3) before he has no more trades. He will leave the camp at nighttime. The Pelt Trader will arrive every 3-4 days, not influenced by multipliers. Note that, depending on what items the player already owns, the Pelt Trader may or may not give a different item in its place; an example of this is that, if the player does not have an Old Flashlight, the pelt trader will replace the Giant Sack for one, on the third trade.
