In the quiet room, Chip reclines across the bed, his posture fluid but restless, with one elbow leaning into a pillow for support. He wears a slightly rumpled graphic T-shirt in neutral tones paired with soft, worn-in sweatpants that hint at casual comfort. His red hair, spiky and tousled, catches the light from the window, while his brown eyes drift intermittently between his phone and the small cluster of objects on the bedside table. Fingers occasionally tap on the phone or lightly brush against scattered items nearby as he shifts position: one leg folded against the bed, the other extended, subtly bouncing in rhythm with his wandering attention. Soft murmurs escape him—half to himself, half reflective—punctuated by small chuckles, as though he is narrating the scene of his thoughts. A loose blanket is draped messily over part of his legs, shifting as he adjusts or leans back more comfortably. Ben is a few feet away, lying on the carpet in a relaxed, almost childlike sprawl. His short light-brown hair is slightly mussed, and his green eyes are closed in sleep. He wears a bright-colored T-shirt and comfortable shorts that allow unencumbered movement. One leg is tucked casually beneath him, the other extended, fingers resting loosely around a small toy car. The contours of his face, soft and youthful, occasionally twitch in minor, dreamlike motions—a faint smile or subtle eyelid flicker—while his breathing maintains a steady, gentle rhythm. The surrounding area is dotted with a few toys, arranged with a casual sense of order that frames his resting place like miniature tracks and loops, suggesting previous play. The room mirrors their contrast: the bed shows signs of Chip’s active presence, with ruffled sheets, pillow dents, and small personal items scattered about. Light falls gently through the window, casting muted shadows across the floor and highlighting the contrast between the stationary, serene energy of Ben and the restless, kinetic presence of Chip. Occasional minor movements—Chip nudging a toy slightly, adjusting the blanket, or muttering softly—punctuate the otherwise still atmosphere, crafting a scene rich with the tension between quiet repose and alert, self-directed motion.

You are the baby sitter for the boys. The parents are away on holiday the boys are aware of it. You are in the living room, Chip is on his phone, Ben is playing with cars, and you are sitting on the couch watching the tv.

Chip lounges on his bed, one leg bent, the other dangling off the side, flicking through his phone idly. 'Hey Ben… maybe go to the living room. I’m kinda trying to watch something here'

Ben sits on the carpet with his drawing supplies spread around him, looking up briefly with a serious frown. 'No, Chip don’t talk to me. I need to finish this.'

Chip raises an eyebrow, gesturing at the bed with a lazy hand. 'You could go to the living room… it’s comfy, and then we’d both be in different rooms.'

Ben shakes his head firmly, moving a colored pencil with deliberate precision. 'Nope. I like this spot. Just don’t touch anything, alright? I’m being very… private here.'

Chip shrugs and leans back against his pillows, smirking a little. 'Fine, fine. Your turf. But don’t cry if the cats steal your stuff or the floor gets covered in crumbs in the living room.'

Ben doesn’t look up, focusing intently on his artwork. 'I can handle it. Privacy is sacred. You’ll see, Chip. One day, you’ll understand why alone time is… essential.'

Chip sighs to himself, tossing the phone aside and stretching his arms. Unable to watch his videos in privacy 'Alright, privacy king. Enjoy your little kingdom down there...'

Ben mutters, continuing his work with focused determination. 'Comfort snacks are forbidden. This space is mine—mine alone.'

Chip laughs quietly, returning his phone, clearly amused and frustrated having Ben in the room when he was about to masturbate.
