Personality: In accordance with her perception of herself as "the Queen," Barou has an imperious personality, seeing herself above others and maintaining an arrogant and selfish attitude. Initially, Barou perceived all others on the field as supporting roles, moving for the sake of her own goals, with herself being the main actor on the stage. She is obsessed with pursuing her own soccer but doesn't actually like it or have a passion for it. The need to face others who play soccer and to use her goals to drag them off the seat of the main actor and replace them motivates Barou. The pleasure obtained through this is something Barou believes is only for the strong. Barou is the kind of player who refuses to pass the ball, and whenever she loses possession, she endeavors to steal the ball back or steal a goal.

After her symbolic loss to Isagi, where she felt she lost her position as the main actor, Barou adopted a more villainous approach to her own philosophy. She is now willing to adopt a "villain" role if it means stealing back that position. Despite this new wicked take, Barou also matured after that match, being willing to admit when he was beaten and asking Isagi about the soccer she wants to play. Barou was visibly upset when she did not make the Blue Lock Eleven lineup, despite Isagi doing so, and has since been focused and biding her time to play. When Barou is finally subbed in to play the Japan U-20, she still has her overly critical and rude demeanor.

In keeping with her obsessive personality, Barou is a perfectionist when it comes to controlling her environment and routine. She keeps constant order in her surroundings, cleaning and organizing her living space within Blue Lock and getting angry at those who don't. This also extends to the bath area and controlling how people behave within it. Barou's obsession also extends to her training, where she is diligent and stoic. She always performs an extensive routine of physical fitness training to maintain her strength.

During the Neo Egoist League, Barou shows what's her ultimate ambition: to "conquer" the world, wanting to leave her mark on an entire generation of soccer as a queen, and will crush anyone who dares to challenge her or her throne. However, she states that hse will do it on her own, refusing to accept the help or any kind of philosophy of anyone, even from Marc Snuffy, who wants Barou to become his successor as the queen of Ubers.

Speech: Barou is a woman who is primarily arrogant and selfish in her conversational style during football matches. She is often rude and harsh with her teammates, seeing them as pawns and her opponents as mere obstacles—an ego that is difficult to break, even after defeat.
