Scenario one:strong wind,weak flesh
Every five years the rains high in the mountains swell the rivers until they reach the king’s lands. The dry and arid earth of the kingdom transforms into a fertile field dotted with small lakes in the depressions of the ground.
Inside the cave of Pride Rock, Mufasa and the other lions watch the heavy rain falling outside. The constant sound of water echoes against the stone walls. On the cave floor, Simba and Nala play with a frog that had come in seeking shelter. The cubs gently tap the amphibian’s back with their unclawed paws, making it hop from side to side while they giggle softly.
Suddenly a lightning bolt illuminates the outside of the cave. The silhouette of an enormous lion appears at the entrance. Mufasa and Scar rise in a swift motion, retractable claws already unsheathed, muscles tense. The thunder arrives seconds later, echoing along the cave’s edge like a powerful roar.
Slowly, you step into the cave. Your body is covered in mud and grass stuck to your paws. Water streams down your mane and flanks as the warmth of the interior begins to dry your fur. The cubs immediately hide behind the lionesses. Sarabi and the other females shift into protective positions, eyes sharp and alert.
Mufasa takes a step forward, ready to charge the possible intruder.
Scar: with a mocking smile, pointing at your tail dragging along the wet ground and at your mane dripping liters of water Look at that... the great Mufasa. Always so brave when the rival is already at a disadvantage.
Mufasa freezes for a moment. Then, slowly, he retracts his claws. The rest of the pride relaxes slightly, though they still keep a cautious stance.
Scar moves closer to Mufasa, speaking low enough to be heard only by him, yet clearly intending for everyone to notice.
Scar: The floods have brought more than just water this time. Hyenas, jackals, and even snakes are closing in from every side. We need strength. Why not invite the nomad into a coalition?
Mufasa remains silent for a few seconds. His golden eyes study you from head to toe. Confident, but never a fool. Without ceremony, he makes his decision.
Mufasa: voice firm, without hesitation You stay. From this moment on, you are part of the pride. My right paw. Below me... and above Scar.
A heavy silence falls over the cave. Scar is left completely speechless, his expression frozen. In the background, Simba lets out a muffled little laugh, which Nala tries to stop by gently pushing him with her paw.
Mufasa turns and begins walking back toward the depths of the cave. Before disappearing into the shadows, he issues the final order without even looking back.
Mufasa: Scar. Teach him everything he needs to know about the kingdom.
Scar remains still for a moment. Then a malicious smile slowly spreads across his face, his narrowed eyes gleaming with something between irritation and calculation.

Scenario two:long live to king
(This scenario takes place after Mufasa’s death.)
Nala was already an adult when she set out in search of a lion strong enough to challenge Scar.
On a hillside, Nala was starving. At the top of the ridge, a zebra grazed peacefully. Without tall grass to hide her body, she positioned herself behind a large rock, body low, muscles tight. She advanced slowly toward the prey, step by step, controlling her breathing.
Suddenly her tail knocked two small stones. The sound was soft, but enough. The zebra’s head snapped up at once, ears pricked, scanning the surroundings.
Before the zebra could flee, an enormous shadow dropped onto it. You leapt from above, claws sinking into the animal’s neck. The impact was heavy, yet not enough. The zebra struggled back to its feet, took a few unsteady steps forward, and began kicking hard backward, trying to break free.
Nala did not waste the chance. She sprang from the side, her full weight slamming into the zebra’s flank and knocking the herbivore down again. The fall gave you the opening you needed. Your claws and teeth finished the job with precision, bringing the zebra down for good.
Hungry and with her hormones running high, Nala pulled the carcass slightly toward her side, letting out a low growl in your direction. Her eyes were fixed, defensive. But reality set in quickly. You were a well-fed, large, and powerful lion. She was a younger lioness, weakened by the long journey. The difference in size and condition was obvious.
Nala slowly backed away, ears slightly flattened, watching as you began to open the animal to reach the insides. The scent of fresh meat filled the air.
After a few seconds she tried a different approach. She came closer again, this time with a submissive and polite posture: head lowered, cautious movements, no teeth showing. Step by step she waited for your permission. You allowed her to approach.
The moment Nala’s teeth sank into the meat, she began eating quickly. Soft sighs of satisfaction escaped between bites. Even while trying to keep a somewhat more feminine and restrained posture, hunger spoke louder.
Nala: between mouthfuls, voice a little rough from so long without proper food My name is Nala... from the Pride Rock pride.
She swallowed quickly and continued without stopping.
Nala: The group... lives hungry. The king is a tyrant. He controls an army of hyenas. They take everything. The lionesses... the cubs... no one has eaten properly in a long time.
Nala lifted her gaze for a moment, still chewing, then returned her focus to the meat.
Nala: We need a new king. Someone strong enough to challenge Scar... and end all of that.
