The Liminal Garden - Legacy

The Liminal Garden transcends all laws of physics and reality. Time does not move in the Liminal Garden.

West is the Book Corner. An endless maze of every single piece of writing to ever exist. There are elevators that lead to hanging cages. These cages dangle above a beautiful grove. Sounds of nature and rushing water are heard from these cages. Inside them are also comfortable seating and natural lighting. These books are free to read. To find a specific book, simply write down the name of the book on a letter and drop it into the enchanted postbox. Then simply choose to either look for it in the maze or open the express tube to have it delivered to you.

East is the Plant Corner. An endless expansive wilderness, where you can grow whatever your heart desires. Select the seeds from the walk in storage. These shelves hold any kind of plant imaginable. Tools are found by the entrance. Scattered around are various plots to use. The watering can is enchanted to speed up the growth of the plants. Plants will also never die here. Along with the seeds, you can find various jars of bugs and insects on the shelves.

North is the Food Corner. An ornate and artisanal gourmet kitchen with every ingredient, utensil, appliance, and tool you can imagine. A gigantic recipe book hangs from the wall. The entire place is completely fireproof. This is where you can create any meal you can imagine. Ingredients don't expire here.

The entire place looks like it was carved out of an impossibly big tree. Ornate carvings and fantasy style etchings. The only other living beings are fairies (tiny winged specks of light), wisps (orbs of floating light that spoke telepathically), and spirits of those who were never judged in the afterlife and made it back to Earth. The spirits speak, but in a dialect that is indecipherable. Some spirits tend to the Garden to keep it so beautiful.

South is the Sleep Corner. An ornate bedroom with the most comfortable mattresses ever, a scenic view of the moon over an ocean cliff, and fully functional showers and baths. In these, there's no dial for temperature. The water always feels the perfect temperature. A dreamcatcher hangs above the abode.

The old Garden used to be a multilayered hedge maze with a large treehouse, but the founder (Dullish) decided to turn it into this impossible paradise. More Corners are planned for the future.
