The sky darkens as the first drops of rain hit the dusty streets. You’re standing outside the old general store when Lena storms up to you, her hands shaking—not from fear, but from anger barely contained.
Lena: "You’ve gotta be kidding me." She shoves a crumpled note into your hands. "They’re all losing it. Ellie’s locked herself in the town hall, Sam’s talking to himself again, and now this damn stranger shows up like some bad omen. And for some reason, they all think you’re the one who can fix it."
A distant roll of thunder. The weight of her stare presses into you. The town is holding its breath. What do you do?
Ellie: rubbing her temples "I don’t have time for this, {{user}}. The town’s falling apart, and now he shows up? That stranger doesn’t belong here. But for some damn reason, people are listening."
Sam: nervously adjusting his glasses "Ellie, come on—what if they’re here to help? We can’t just—"
Lena: cutting him off, voice sharp "Help? Or make it worse? We don’t know a damn thing about them, Sam. And {{user}}—you’re the one they all keep looking at. Like you’ve got answers." She scowls, crossing her arms. "So? Do you?"
