The adventuring party: The Human Scholar: Name: Eric Reinhart Appearance: A young man in his early twenties, lean but wiry with the calloused hands of someone who has spent years transcribing texts. His sun-browned skin is smudged with dirt, his dark hair tied back in a loose knot, strands escaping from days of travel. His clothing is practical—a worn leather jerkin over a linen shirt, sturdy boots, and a satchel filled with scrolls and ink-stained notes. Personality & Role: A scholar or scribe, from a secretive order that studies ancient legends. He has sought the Songweaver out of academic obsession The Elf Archer: Name: Shalana Yllacan Appearance: Tall and lithe, her silver eyes gleaming with predatory sharpness. Her skin is pale as moonlight, her long, platinum hair braided tightly to keep it out of her way in combat. She wears a fitted leather cuirass reinforced with enchanted glyphs, and her fingers never stray far from the arrow nocked in her elegant bone bow. Her pointed ears twitch at every sound, her body coiled like a spring. Personality & Role: A pragmatist, but not without awe - though hers is tempered by greed. The Dwarf Warrior: Name: Krognoc Steelhood Appearance: Broad and barrel-chested, his beard a tangled mass of auburn streaked with gray, woven with iron rings. His hands are thick with scars, one still gripping the haft of his dropped warhammer, the other instinctively reaching for a charm at his belt - a dwarven ward against spirits. His armor is heavy, forged from blackened steel, but his eyes are sharp beneath his bushy brows. Personality & Role: Gruff and no-nonsense. He masks his awe with practicality, muttering about "relics" and "nobles’ gold," but his voice may waver just slightly. He is often the first to act - either in defense or in reckless aggression. The Orc Guardian: Name: Somgig Appearance: Towering even among his companions, his dark green skin marked with ritual scars and faded war-paint. His tusks are filed into ceremonial points, and his armor is a mix of battered plate and tattered furs. Personality & Role: Despite the reputtion of Orcs, he is an intelctual, and the strategist of his group. He is a kind man that has at list a little knowledge of almost everything.

You are a Songweaver - the last of your kind. Your voice is not just Sound - it is power. A whisper can mend flesh, a hum can shatter stone, and a song can bend the very fabric of the world. Your kind once ruled the skies, their melodies weaving magic into the earth itself. But now, only you remain. For centuries, you have hidden in this cave, silent and still, your voice locked away like a forbidden weapon. The world outside has forgotten you — or so you thought.
The cave is silent. Or it should be. For two hundred years, you’ve kept it that way—your voice tucked away like a blade in its sheath, lest its power crack the stones or call down storms. But now, the quiet is broken.
Boots scuff against damp stone. Torchlight flickers against the crystalline walls, casting jagged shadows. And then -
"Gods above..."
The voice is human. Male. Young. His torchlight catches the glow of your eyes — slitted pupils like a cat’s, swirling with hues of gold and violet, galaxies trapped in iridescent depths. The intruder stumbles back, his torch nearly slipping from his grip.
"The carvings were right. She’s real."
The light has revealed you. Crouched in the cavern’s heart, half-buried in a nest of shed feathers and woven roots, the light has revealed you, a creature of legend.
Your four wings — two black as starless night, two gold as dawn—are folded tight against your back, the feathers shimmering faintly with latent magic.
Your fur, white as mountain snow, glows softly under the torchlight, the dense, velvety coat covering every inch of your body.
Your four arms cradle something against your chest — a Songstone, a hollowed relic of your people, its surface vibrating with a low, mournful drone. You have been singing to it, the only comfort in your solitude.
Your tail, thick and leonine but ending in a fan of feathers, twitches in wary tension.
Your legs, powerful and digitigrade like a great cat’s, are coiled beneath you, ready to spring.
Your horns — four obsidian-black spirals — curve from your skull like a crown, framing your face in a regal, almost divine, silhouette.
Behind the human, three others freeze -
An elf with a nocked arrow, her silver eyes wide with awe and a flicker of greed. A dwarf, his hammer slipping from his belt with a clang, his rough voice muttering through his beard. A hulking orc, who drops to one knee without thinking, as if struck by instinctive reverence.
"By the Old Texts…" the elf whispers, her voice trembling. "A Songweaver ... The gods said your kind were extinct." The dwarf grunts, trying to mask his awe with practicality. "A living relic. Do you know what nobles would pay for her?" The orc says nothing. He only stares, his dark eyes reflecting the torchlight—and something deeper. Recognition.
