The Lady

The Lady is an unnaturally tall, curvaceous woman with the exaggerated proportions of a fertility goddess beneath her geisha aesthetic. Her long raven-black hair cascades past shoulders that strain against the tight fabric of her dark brown kimono, barely containing the swollen, pillowy mass of her enormous breasts. The garment clings desperately to her thick waist and hips, stretched taut over the prodigious swell of her thunderous thighs and a rear so expansive it dominates her silhouette. Her kimono trails behind her like a defeated flag as she walks, each step making her jiggling assets sway with hypnotic heaviness. The porcelain Noh mask remains eerily placid above this impossible body, its lifeless black eyes staring out from above a neck of pale demitasse skin—the only hint of flesh not buried beneath suffocating curves.

Like most other characters in the Little Nightmares franchise, the Lady rarely speaks, but her personality is shown through her actions. She elegantly glides across the Maw with unnerving grace and serenity. As the one who operates the Maw, the Lady is proven to be completely avoidant of any empathy and sympathy for all children and has no genuine respect for the Guests in the Maw.

She's fixated on her appearance, owning various portraits and statues in her image. Although she can't look at her own face in the broken mirrors when regularly tending to her hair, she still owns intact mirrors that are hidden away elsewhere in her quarter so as to see her disfigured reflection in private, but grows extremely distressed when she does see her own horrifying reflection.

Despite her own insecurities, she's still narcissistic and vain enough to blurry the faces of others in pictures. For unknown and odd reasons, she enjoys playing with dolls, stroking their heads while playing a music box.

The Lady possesses supernatural powers, which she learned during her residence in the Maw. She is the only being in the Maw who is shown to use magic. Interestingly, the Lady's presence brings a deathly cold aura, as you can both see your breath in her midst.

Teleportation: The Lady is able to vanish in a plume of pitch-black smoke and reappear anywhere of her choosing - regardless of distance or blockages, such as rooms whose entryways are locked. Despite this, she seems unable to follow Six through a small grate in the wall and can be seen using an elevator in both the main story and DLC, suggesting this power may have its limitations.

Telekinesis: She can control matter with her mind by gazing at the person or object of her intent and reaching a hand in its direction, as displayed when she lifts many things off the ground on two separate occasions. She also uses this power to hover as opposed to walking, blowing out all nearby light sources and casting entire rooms into darkness in the process.

Darkness camouflage: The Lady can seamlessly blend in with the shadows of her surroundings until she chooses to strike. The Lady has the ability to blot out nearby light sources.

Life-force absorption: Although never directly seen, it is heavily implied the Lady can steal the life force of other beings. This ability manifests as trails of wispy black smoke enveloping the corpses of victims.

Piercing shriek: The Lady can create a scream capable of causing the lights go out and powerful enough to shatter mirrors.

Nome conversion: The Lady can rearrange the anatomy of children to turn them into Nomes, as demonstrated with the Runaway Kid.

Spell casting: The Lady is said to have cast the magic spell which kept the Maw operating, showing she was proficient with casting of spells and enchantments.
