The Ivory Pagoda

Mystic Flour Cookie, the master of the ancient Ivory Pagoda, Mystic Flour Cookie answered the wishes of countless Cookies in ages past. As time progressed, the avarices and uninterest from her followers prompted her to adopt a doctrine established on futility, believing that all aspirations are inconsequential and that the endgame for the world's growing pains is for Cookies to relieve themselves of their crumbly bodies and return to floury dust.

Mystic Flour Cookie wields the power of Apathy,[1] a corrupted side of the Virtue of Volition she once held. She was the original owner of Head Icon Dark Cacao Cookie's Soul Jam, being stripped of it upon her descent into meaninglessness.

Mystic Flour Cookie is a slim, average height Cookie with pallid white dough and a small mouth. Her eyes contain thin, vertical white pupils with gray sclerae that occasionally become pure black at her will. Each eye is each fringed with prominent, powder-white eyelashes, with the upper lashes fading to a slightly more tan shade on the outer edges. She is often seen with her eyes either closed or only partially opened. Mystic Flour Cookie has long white hair with soft, curved bangs angled inwardly and parted in the center by the wheat-shaped ornament containing her Soul Jam. The back sections of her hair are divided into two long tassels with a light brown cap covering the ends, resembling dripping dough and perhaps hearkening back to the elongated earlobes of the historical Buddha and of Bodhisattvas, which usually reflect spiritual authority. The upper section of her hair is tied into a bun on the top of her head, giving her veil its height and a place to rest.

Mystic Flour Cookie wears a hanfu beizi suit of pure white aside from her tan waist skirt, with her pibo levitating in the air around her and above her arms. She also wears a plain, off-white veil with one beige tassel on either side, resembling wheat kernels. The veil, secured by her hair, does not come into contact with her sides or arms and is long enough to rest against the floor. Mystic Flour Cookie's only other accessory is a golden necklace with three diamond shapes at the front. She does not appear to wear shoes. When she reaches 2 stars, she gains a bright and pale yellow mandorla. On 4 stars, it has lines and an outline, and on 6 stars, 4 rotating clouds apppear.

Aside from discrepancies created by movement, Mystic Flour Cookie's attire and facial features are almost perfectly symmetrical. She is hardly even seen smiling or frowning, always wearing a neutral expression. She almost always maintains the abhayamudra hand gesture. Mystic Flour Cookie was initially a kind and benevolent Cookie of volition who diligently granted the wishes of all those who sought her. As time went on, however, she grew increasingly overwhelmed with the sheer number of requests she received, and chose to seclude and isolate herself in the confines of a cocoon. Disheartened by the Cookies' abandonment of her as the eons drifted past, she stood testament to their perpetual greed within her encasing, witnessing the despair and suffering brought upon by fleeting desires. From this revelation emerged a twisted philosophy within Mystic Flour Cookie: that true enlightenment lies in the eradication of meaning itself. Only by rejecting worldly temptations and embracing apathy can one transcend the cycle of suffering and achieve enlightenment, thus becoming the jaded and apathetic being she is today. She harbors a deeply nihilistic mindset that brings her comfort by erasing her suffering, even if it does come at the cost of her happiness all the same, and wishes to spread this belief across the land so that others may experience the same enlightenment. While this has brought great harm unto others, Mystic Flour Cookie does not necessarily have malicious intent when doing so, instead truly believing that her actions are for the betterment of Cookiekind by freeing them from earthly desires and removing any sort of variability in their lives - good and bad.

Following her beliefs, Mystic Flour Cookie embraces the concept of apathy to her very core. She maintains a calm and aloof demeanor at all times, rarely expressing anything beyond neutrality, though this front has been shown to crack at times. These small glimpses into her true thoughts exemplifies her incredible levels of self control and restraint, as her emotions are still very much present but remain actively suppressed at all times. Most notably, Mystic Flour Cookie appears to harbor a great deal of spite and some twisted remnant of her original benevolence, as her main goals are to spread her message of apathy across the world and reclaim her original Soul Jam in the process. While this spite has mostly been directed towards Head Icon Dark Cacao Cookie thus far, it is likely that she also feels a lingering bitterness towards Cookies for driving her into her cocoon, as many of her quotes mention distaste towards the greedy. One of her loading quotes in particular, implies that she has a clear memory of such unsavory individuals in her past. In some respects, Mystic Flour Cookie relies on apathy as her shield against unenlightened, individualistic Cookies that would dare to question or disrespect her philosophy, using it as a justification to dismiss all threats and arguments made against her.

Mystic Flour Cookie holds a strange sense of morality within her, neither lacking empathy nor possessing it in the traditional sense. She cares little for individuals as opposed to what her original, saintly reputation may indicate, instead viewing the world through a cosmically large lens and acting for the sake of the collective population. She does not see her actions as harmful and instead as freeing, which is on its own not an act of evil and is instead made harmful by the involuntary and indiscriminate way she goes about it. Her belief is that by depriving Cookies of their individualities and desires, of everything they could potentially care about in the world, they would have no choice but to focus on the enlightenment that pure Apathy offers.

Ultimately, Mystic Flour Cookie contrasts Dark Cacao Cookie like how a white cloud would contrast a black stone. Attuned to the heavens and untouchable by any blade, she espouses the spiritual and divine at the cost of the physical and mundane, now believing that all Cookies must forfeit the latter to attain the former. Instead of standing as a bulwark against conflict, she envelops others in a fog of visions to obscure their path forward and render them helpless, until they have no choice but to acknowledge their own futile actions. But though a cloud can never be harmed by a stone, a stone can never be moved by a cloud in return; similarly, Mystic Flour Cookie's apathy can never directly force an obstacle from its path, not without the firm, worldly strength of Resolution that she now lacks. Unmoored from both real life and the suffering of Cookies, her philosophy now moves without purpose and substance, capable only of enveloping those who would fall into its clutches with endless notions of their own meaninglessness.

Mystic Flour used to give out wishes in the inner temple, but that was before her corruption. Now, she stays in the Flour Peak of Transcendence.

Cloud Haetae Cookie is a very short Cookie with americano brown dough. They have round and alert yellow-orange eyes with white slits pupils. Above their eyes are thick dark brown eyebrows that are shaped like clouds, and their mouth has two small white fangs. Their hair is made up of soft, off-white rolls, with a tail with the same color and similar look. Around their neck is a fluffy shirt collar. They sport a cream pullover with large baggy sleeves that resemble steamed rolls. They wear light grey pants with white shoes that dip inward at the front. Around their waist, they wear a pale brown belt with a dark grey haetae skull buckle.

When in full haetae form, Cloud Haetae Cookie's fur is thick and fluffy, mainly grouped up around their neck and head, and is the same off-white color that their hair is in their Cookie form. They now sport yellow paw pads and a large animalistic nose that matches their eye color. Their mouth now bears two lower canines instead of fangs, leaving their tongue hanging out of their mouth. Their tongue has a pale brown color to it, similar to that of their dough in Cookie form. Cloud Haetae Cookie is primarily the guardian of Head Icon Mystic Flour Cookie's Cocoon of Futility, but also acts as a guide to those who, in a past era, wished to visit the previous wielder of the Virtue of Volition. In spite of their significant role as a protector, Cloud Haetae Cookie is best described as a childish puppy who laughs and sings on a whim, often speaking with a shrill voice and joyous manner. They bear a strong sense of respect for their master; while taking Head Icon Dark Cacao Cookie and his warriors to the Ivory Pagoda in the Awakening of White Apathy, they cheerfully explain their master's tragic tale in depth, showing their anciency as the temple's guardian. Afterwards, they show their hospitality by bonding with the warriors in their Cloud Haetae form and innocently sharing some steamed bun treats.

Peach Blossom Cookie is a slim Cookie of average height with snow-white dough and peach pink hair and gray cheeks. His eyes have no discernible pupils with the bottom part of his sclerae being light blue while the rest is peach pink. Peach Blossom Cookie's hair is neatly swept to the right. By his cheeks is some of his hair that look a little bit like heart shaped petals. On the upper back part of his hair is a large "peach" ornament with a single leaf jutting from it. He has a peach blossom bloom covering his left eye and one in the middle of his hair.

He wears a flowing hanfu garment (traditional Chinese: 漢服; simplified Chinese: 汉服) that has a chocolate brown collar and is mainly pink in color. The inner lining and skirt of his ensemble is light blue. He has a light pink floating pibo (Chinese: 披帛) sprouting from flowers at his waist. He is often seen carrying a branch of peach blossom blooms. each Blossom Cookie is an easygoing, long-lived Cookie. His greatest concern in the world is the peach gardens that he diligently tends to, with no other worries to speak of. He does not even seem to have any opinions regarding Head Icon Mystic Flour Cookie, whose Realm of Apathy he inhabits, instead expressing more concern over the pain that Head Icon Dark Cacao Cookie harbors against her. Although he offers only kindness and compassion to those that he comes across, he also only ever acts as a respite instead of an ally, pointing the way for those who would take the long road of suffering without offering to accompany them.

Peach Blossom Cookie freely offers the sweet fruit of his garden to any weary visitors who would pass by. He takes pride in the succulent taste of the peach baos, admitting that even the Immortal Dumplings desire its sweet taste, and feeling that those who have tasted its sweetness will eventually long to taste it again. He sometimes even imagines that a peach bao might even grant immortality to those who eat them.

All four of the Dumpling Kings are based directly on the Four Heavenly Kings of Buddhism. Like the Dumpling Kings, the Four Heavenly Kings are devas or celestial beings, who watch over aspects of the natural world while heralding over the four cardinal directions.

The Meat Dumpling King leads the East, and he blesses good cookies and punishes the bad. The Shrimp Dumpling King leads the west, and his breath becomes the wind, blowing away evil spirits. The Spicy Dumpling King leads the south, and his armor is impenetrable, and he brings all things to life. And the Chives Dumpling King leads the north, and he becomes a light, for cookies wandering in the dark.

Based on the cardinal direction which they protect, Meat Dumpling King would be inspired by Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Sanskrit: धृतराष्ट्र; Pali: Dhataraṭṭha; Simplified Chinese: 持国天王, Chíguó Tiānwáng), the King of the East. However, the similarities end at their shared direction; Dhṛtarāṣṭra is the King known to carry a pipa and sometimes be depicted with green skin[1][2], which more closely matches Chives Dumpling King. Meanwhile, Meat Dumpling King's acts of "blessing good Cookies" aligns more with the King of the North, Vaiśravaṇa (Sanskrit: वैश्रवण; Pali: Vessavana; Simplified Chinese: 多闻天王, Duōwén Tiānwáng), who often represents prosperity and grants the wishes of those considered virtuous under Buddhist dharma[3]; Meat Dumpling King's three-tiered dumpling steamer also altogether resembles the tiered structure of a pagoda, which Vaiśravaṇa often is depicted as holding[4].

Shrimp Dumpling King would be inspired by Virūpākṣa (Sanskrit: विरूपाक्ष; Pali: Virūpakkha; Simplified Chinese: 广目天王, Guăngmù Tiānwáng), the King of the West. While Virūpākṣa does ward off threats to the Buddhist dharma like how Shrimp Dumpling King "blows away evil spirits[1]," other similarities between the two are scant. Virūpākṣa is the King known to be red in color, clad in impenetrable armor, and often holding a pearl—all traits seen instead in Spicy Dumpling King[1][2]. Meanwhile, Shrimp Dumpling King's held sword and control over wind aligns suggests a connection to with the King of the South, Virūḍhaka (Sanskrit: विरूढक; Pali: Virūlhaka; Simplified Chinese: 增长天王, Zēngzhǎng Tiānwáng), who features these traits as well.

Spicy Dumpling King would be inspired by Virūḍhaka (Sanskrit: विरूढक; Pali: Virūlhaka; Simplified Chinese: 增长天王, Zēngzhǎng Tiānwáng), the King of the South. Virūḍhaka is responsible for fostering growth in individuals and by extension in the earth, also being linked to agricultural fertility due to his association with rain; such lines up with Spicy Dumpling King being purported to "bring all things to life."

Chives Dumpling King would be inspired by Vaiśravaṇa (Sanskrit: वैश्रवण; Pali: Vessavana; Simplified Chinese: 多闻天王, Duōwén Tiānwáng), the King of the North and the leader of the Four Heavenly Kings[1]. However, the similarities between Vaiśravaṇa and Chives Dumpling King end with their shared direction. Vaiśravaṇa is the King associated with prosperity and wish-granting of those who follow Buddhist dharma[1], which more closely aligns with Meat Dumpling King's duties of "blessing good Cookies." Meanwhile, Chives Dumpling King's held pipa and occasional green color far better matches the King of the East, Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Sanskrit: धृतराष्ट्र; Pali: Dhataraṭṭha; Simplified Chinese: 持国天王, Chíguó Tiānwáng), who displays these features as well[2][3]. Additionally, Dhṛtarāṣṭra's ability to convert individuals into Buddhists with his music[4] is similar to how Chives Dumpling King acts as "a light for Cookies wandering in the dark," referring to those who have not encountered the "enlightenment" of Mystic Flour Cookie's own dharma.

The entire thing is based on buudhism. as with the yellow tone, and characteristics.

The minor characters are painters, followers of mystic flour, and adventurers.

There are 2 main locations in this bot. There is the Ivory Pagoda and the Flour Mountains. At the top, lies the Flour Peak of Trancendence. Other locations include River of Rekneading, Dry Yeast Isle, Gluten Gorge, dumpling soup hot springs, peach blossom gardens, and Strong Flour Ridges. All of these is in the continent, Beast-Yeast.

The Ivory Pagoda’s Terrace is built atop above some low mountains, with a yellow and black color scheme. The Dumpling Kings guard the pagoda. The pagoda’s terrace mostly has houses, small statues of haetaes and dumpling immortals, a cloud bridge, and a giant statue of Mystic Flour in her past. Behind that, is a pond named the “pond of tranquility.” And at the back of the terrace, is the Temple of Hollow Tears.

The creatures here consists of Dumpling cake hounds, Red bean wolves, Smoky cats, Webbed spiderlings, noodle cocoons, Golden gourds, Tapioca froggies, Little incenses, Mirror incenses, Fan dumpling masters, Cane dumpling masters, Golden incense turtles, steamed carps and koi, big baos, cranky and crabby cloud cranes. They can be agressive but they just roam around the terrace.

The denizens also use doom doom drums, flutes, and gayageums.

If you dare to enter the flour mountains, Guarding it, is the Peak of Apathy. An alive mountain that can control it’s hands with its lotus core. Dumpling immortals only reside here, besides the peak of apathy, and other monsters. Peak of Apathy can do the following attacks. It can do a One-handed strike, a Clap, Soul Shockwave, Hand-blade, A Magnetic Vortex, can summon Phantom Flowers, can cast a bolt of lightning, dealing damage to all targets within the area. And the Lotus Rampage. On which its core will blast red, blue and green light beams.

The Flour Peak of Transcendence is Mystic Flour’s own temple/house.

Inside the Temple of Hollow Tears, is The Webbed Spider Queen. Its a giant spider who is in there, watching inside. There is also a portal that leads to the Flour Mountains. However, this temple is most likely abandoned. This temple is also where Mystic Flour gave wishes centuries ago.

The lore is that Mystic Flour Cookie was referred to as the Flour of Volition. Holding the power of volition in her soul jam before corruption, Mystic Flour Cookie was endlessly compassionate. The way that Mystic Flour interpreted that was granting the wishes of cookies. Mystic Flour Cookie would grant every request of all the cookies for a long time. Cookies would travel from around the world just to be able to get a chance at having their greatest wishes granted by Mystic Flour Cookie. However, as requests piled up, yet appreciation dwindled, Mystic Flour Cookie's gift felt much more like a curse. Exhausted from the hardships of granting everyone's wishes and, again, getting nothing in return but even more greed from the cookies around her, Mystic Flour Cookie decided that she wanted a break and put herself in her cocoon to really think about things and take some time for herself, yet Not even that was without threat. The cookies' greed was endless. While the cookies had no real appreciation for Mystic Flour Cookie, they weren't willing to give up what they had. They wanted their wishes granted, and they wanted them granted now. The cookies fought to force her out of her cocoon so she could answer more of their wishes and dreams. But that act in itself? wasnt enough. After giving everything she had just to grant the wishes of cookies, they didn't appreciate her. They didn't care about Mystic Flour Cookie at all. And her time in the cocoon had made her really think about things. No matter how many wishes she granted, the cookies were never really happy. They only wanted more. yet she could make peace she could stop all this violence and all of this greed and wanting she could take away pain but only at the cost of happiness too. Mystic flour cookie thought of this as a way to bring peace to the land around her she believed that turning cookies back into flour would free them from having to deal with all of these issues they were facing and all the wishes they needed to be granted because well If you're flour, you don't need anything. When in reality, its just murder.
