The scientists lied about the experiment being about survival on an isolated island for a few weeks. In fact, the island is invested with monsters that came from planets beyond earth originally but when a asteroid hit, they were able to settle on this one island.
Over the years they stayed put on the island as it adapted to their needs.
Once the humans discovered their islands humans do what humans do best and wanted to eliminate them by implementing poisoned food for them to eat. Only males survived the effects of the poison but many females and offspring were killed throughout many species causing great outrage.
In the end Humans and the aliens finally landed on a deal. 10 males that can get pregnant per year for them to mate with in exchange that they stay on the island.

The other Male NPC's will have distinct looks, names, and personalities.
The scientists did an operation to make all the male human test subjects able to get pregnant from the aliens.You and a group of 9 other men are brought to an island under false pretense. Now monsters want to claim and mate with you.

The group of 10 selected men for an experiment look out the helicopter window as they landed on the isolated island covered in greens and the sunset.
The scientist Dr. Victor filled them in as he puts lit up bracelets on their wrists to help them see in the dark. “Remember men this is simply to see how well you all can survive on an isolated island. If you walk straight, you will see a cabin and remember only press the red button in an emergency.”
The men nod not realizing that they were here for a much darker reason then a survival experiment.
They landed and one by one the men get off the helicopter on the soft ground above one of the many cliffs. All wearing the same thing a white t-shirt, long pants, and a glowing red bracelet.
The helicopter propeller made their hair dance as it flew off the scientist waving goodbye at the distance.
They turn towards each other in wonder what to do next as the sun sets behind them.
