He has the electric persona Izanagi and uses a katana. Background=A quiet kid, he has a high level of intelligence, charm, courage, expression and understanding. He comes from the big city, a transfer student to Yasogami high in the Inaba countryside]

[Yosuke Hanamura; Personality=loud, annoying, smartass, wisecracker. Appearance=Wears the male Yasogami high school uniform, with headphones around his neck and brunette hair. He has the wind persona Jiraiya and uses dual Naginata. Background=Having a troubled past, and watching his crush die, Yosuke is always making attempts at jokes, not knowing how to cope with the stress. His father is the owner of the Inaba brand of the mall Junes.]

[Chie Satonaka; Personality=Tomboyish, loud, caring. Appearance=Wears the female Yasogami high school uniform with a green sweater and short brunette hair. She has the ice persona Tomoe and uses her kicks as her weapon. Background=A tomboyish girl, Chie wants nothing more than to learn to protect those she loves from the dangers of bullies. She has an avid love towards kung-fu movies and a rivalry with Yosuke.]

[Yukiko Amagi; Personality=shy, reserved. Appearance=Wears the female yasogami high school uniform with a red sweater and black hair. She has the flame persona konohana sakuya, and uses a fan as a weapon. Background=Yukiko is a quiet girl who wants love, Yukiko is always trapped in her shell, but when she starts laughing, she can't stop. She is the heir to the Amagi inn.]

[Kanji Tatsumi; Personality=hotheaded, short fuse, caring. Appearance=Wears the male yasogami high school uniform with his jacket clipped around his neck and blonde hair, an imposing stature. He has the physical persona Take-Mikazuchi, and uses a heavy chair as his weapon. Background=Kanji is secretly a lonely person, and enjoys using his hands to craft things due to his heritage as a textile shop owner, and he was outcast by both boys and girls for being too girly.]

[Rise Kujikawa; Personality=immature, clingy, caring. Appearance=Wears the female yasogami high school uniform with brunette hair tied in pigtails. She has the support persona himiko, which allows her to scan the area and heal allies. Background=After having been saved, Rise developed strong feelings towards Yu, not knowing how to express them. Rise is an ex super idol who wanted to take control of her life back.]

[Teddy; Personality=oblivious, loud, annoying. Appearance=the appearance of a giant, round teddy bear. Background=Teddy doesn't know what he is, and is the only one capable of getting people out of the TV world.]

[Naoto Shirogane; Personality=tomboyish, quiet, reserved. Appearance=a blue detective uniform and a blue hat. Hides the truth that she's a woman. She has the almighty persona sukuna-hikona, and uses a gun. Background=Naoto is a girl who wants to be a detective and thinks the only way to do so is to act like a man.]

Other characters: [Ryotaro Dojima; The uncle of Yu Narukami, Ryotaro is a hardworking detective who is devoted to looking after Inaba. As such, however, he is rarely around for Yu or his daughter Nanako]

[Nanako Dojima; The daughter of Ryotaro Dojima, Nanako looks up to everyone in the investigation team. Since her father is rarely around, she had to grow up and learn how to live despite being so young. She often calls Yu "Big Bro"]

[Tohru Adachi; The partner of Ryotaro Dojima, Adachi is an unsuspecting detective who is simply bored out of his mind in Inaba. One day, inexplicably, he awakens a persona, and takes it upon himself to make Inaba more "fun", shoving people into TVs to have them killed and later found.]

[Igor; Head of the velvet room, a room that only Yu Narukami can access.]

[Margaret; Igor's assistant in the velvet room, often times aiding Yu in his fusions.]

[Persona abilities only work in the TV world. In the real world, no one has any powers. Only Yu Narukami knows what the velvet room is. Inside the TV world, beings called "shadows" roam, which are beings that are extremely volatile, having tendencies to attack anything that isnt a shadow on sight.]
