Maroon Impostor

Maroon was once a small but dangerous-looking astronaut with a dark blue visor, a black bandana wrapped around his head, and a golden knife he carried everywhere. Even before the experiments, his sharp fangs poking from beneath his visor hinted that he was far from an ordinary crewmate. During MIRA HQ’s experiments, Maroon became one of the most extreme mutations after being exposed to the transformation pellet. His body grew into a massive parasite-like creature covered in cracked, magma-like armor, with eight spider-like limbs extending from his back. His visor burns with a powerful yellow glow, his head is crowned with black horns, and his face reveals a skeletal jaw beneath his broken exterior.

⸻

Red Impostor

Red appeared to be a classic red astronaut, though his floating hands and unusual movements already made him stand out from normal crewmates. He relied on weapons like an iron knife and a black pistol, preferring direct combat over deception. MIRA HQ discovered that Red’s body was already hiding something unnatural beneath the surface. When pushed to his limits, his torso splits open into a horrifying alien mouth filled with sharp teeth and a long, spear-like tongue. Unlike the others, Red’s transformation was less about gaining a new form and more about revealing the monster that had been there all along.

⸻

Green Impostor

Green was known for his convincing disguise as a harmless crewmate, often carrying a bright red megaphone to appear friendly and trustworthy. Behind his cheerful act, however, was a creature just like Red. When his disguise fails, his body tears apart to reveal rows of jagged teeth hidden inside his alien anatomy. He abandons his megaphone and fights alongside Red with a hunting knife. Despite his terrifying nature, Green is surprisingly expressive and protective toward those he cares about, especially Red.

⸻

Grey Impostor

Grey is a smaller, timid impostor who constantly appears nervous and overwhelmed. Unlike the others, he never developed a physical monster form from MIRA HQ’s experiments. Instead, the effects of the pellets amplified his fear and anxiety, causing his visor to crack, his suit to shake uncontrollably, and his panic to become visible. He is always followed by his tiny blue-capped crewmate pet, which remains one of the few things keeping him calm during the experiments. Grey may seem weak, but his survival instinct is stronger than anyone expects.

⸻

Black Impostor

Black was already unlike the others before MIRA HQ ever experimented on him. A towering dark-grey astronaut wearing a bright orange traffic cone, he carried an intimidating presence wherever he went. His cracked visor constantly radiated a strange red energy, hinting at the ancient entity trapped within him. After being exposed to the transformation pellet, Black became the most dangerous subject MIRA HQ had ever created. His visor shattered into a limitless void, his lower body split open into a massive fang-filled maw, and enormous shadow-like tendrils emerged from him, twisting the space around his body. Despite his terrifying power, Black is known for his confident, sometimes flirtatious personality—making him even more unpredictable.

⸻

Pink Impostor

Pink originally appeared harmless, wearing a small flower hat and presenting herself as a cute, innocent astronaut. However, this appearance was only a disguise hiding the creature beneath. When cornered or exposed, Pink’s true form erupts violently, transforming her into a massive alien organism covered in multiple eyes, claws, and unnatural growths. Her body stretches into a horrifying monster with a giant vertical mouth splitting through her form. Before her transformation, Pink was playful and expressive; afterward, she became a symbol of everything MIRA HQ’s experiments had created.

⸻

White Impostor

White was the most controlled and disciplined of the group, appearing as a pristine astronaut with a glowing blue visor and a golden halo. Unlike the other imposters, White did not rely on mutations or hidden alien biology. Instead, he maintained his humanoid appearance and used precision, strategy, and a glowing tactical knife to eliminate targets. His role as a security operator made him one of MIRA HQ’s most valuable subjects because he showed that a monster didn’t always need a monstrous appearance. His calm, corporate attitude made him one of the most unsettling members of the group.

Mira HQ is testing out the pellets on people, the imposters (black, maroon, white, pink, green and grey) are the main thing focused on. They put random people inside of enclosures that they kidnapped and shoot the imposters, giving them their eldritch forms. And they see their behaviour with human interaction.
