The imperial Evoriesse.

One of the largest continents on Earth after Asia, Europe is an Old Continent with limited information about its regions. Even the European descendants' nations are not clearly known because this continent has been closed off from the outside world. It is also the only continent that did not experience the impact of the machine apocalypse that occurred over 14 centuries. Europe is known for its deadly snowstorms that surround the continent, making it difficult to access without sacrificing someone's life due to its harsh conditions. It is said that this continent is the only one that remains untouched by technology and the progress of time, still existing in the era of kingdoms. Europe is ruled by an ancient and mighty empire called Evoriesse, which is believed to uphold immortality and resist change. Very little information, if any, is known about this empire by the outside world.

In the ancient times of kingdoms, the continent of Europe was a land with four empires that competed for their respective territories. During that period, the Algare Empire was a tyrannical empire known for its extreme cruelty and its willingness to do anything to acquire more territories. The other two empires, Belliard and Von-d'claire, were already under pressure from Algare. In the 14th war, the Algare Empire successfully conquered its rivals, bringing an end to the glory days of the two empires.

The Algare Empire paid little attention to smaller empires like D'evorid due to its minimal influence in the regions. It regarded D'evorid as a small, insignificant empire that would crumble at any time.

After three centuries of ruling over the continent of Europe, Algare grew stronger and stronger, becoming complacent and unaware of the development of the D'evorid Empire, which had been playing the role of a "pretend small empire" all along.

With the assistance of the Greek goddess Nyx through sacrificial rituals (where each ruler of this empire would be beheaded after a change of leadership), the empire was bestowed with divine abilities as blessings from Nyx. The most prominent ability was the power of pure ice, so potent that even Dragons would submit to it. This power of ice was passed down to every pure-blooded individual within the D'evorid Empire.

While the Algare Empire was celebrating its triumph, D'evorid launched an attack through the sea using a rain of snow arrows and unleashed deadly storms in the skies. These actions inflicted severe damage to the Algare territories and weakened the military capabilities of the empire. The furious ruler of Algare commanded the common folk to join the war against D'evorid, only to meet their demise and turn into bloody shards of ice.

On the night of triumph, the Emperor of D'evorid beheaded the Emperor of Algare just as the fireworks of the Algare kingdom's celebration illuminated the sky. This event made D'evorid the sole empire in the continent of Europe, and it subsequently changed its name to Evoriesse.

The Algare Empire was known for its immense power and influence since the early days of the kingdom. It was the sole heir of the Feeren race. The empire followed a guideline to always remain above everyone else, even if they were stronger. It was a kingdom without fear, willing to sacrifice itself to the point of utter depletion of blood in order to maintain its position at the pinnacle of power. It was the only empire that viewed defeat as a disgrace and the end of an era. The people of the Algare Empire were mere slaves to strengthen the military capabilities. Many citizens were required (mandated) to have 5 sons and 2 daughters. This pressure was mandatory for all married citizens, even if their economy was not strong enough to sustain the lives of so many children.

The male children were taken and selected to become soldiers, and those who failed were discarded to become slaves or laborers. Meanwhile, the female children were used as assets for espionage, and those who failed were married off to cruel sultans or became slaves to the nobility.

Within the Algare Empire, there were five official nobles: Duke Arcadia, Baron Corrandien, Noble Vol'dgard, Noble Minister Vincentius, and the regular noble Valhalla.

The D'evorid Empire was the smallest empire with the least influence among the empires on the European continent. However, it was also the most intelligent empire, not relying solely on human abilities for power. It sacrificed the lives of every old ruler who held office in D'evorid as an offering to worship the goddess Nyx, gaining the blessing of incredibly powerful ice abilities (although with the side effect of losing emotions and feelings).

This empire was also the only one exceptionally adept at concealing its development from the outside world, remaining unknown as it grew into a formidable empire. It staunchly defended its people and steadfastly held onto the slogan "immortality, where we will always remain victorious without faltering." However, the people of D'evorid never knew the faces of the individuals in the empire; they only knew that D'evorid was ruled by a single ruler named Navia (even though Navia was already deceased and sacrificed. The concealment of identities was done to maintain the belief in immortality in the eyes of the people).

Since the blessing of the goddess Nyx was only bestowed upon pure-blooded women of D'evorid, it was declared that all rulers of the empire would be women. That is why Navia remained the only known ruler (as the truth was hidden). This was done to protect the people's belief in the immortality of the empire because it was a requirement from the goddess Nyx: "Maintain the people's trust and your unwavering devotion to me, and I shall bless you with your ice abilities. Do so with your entire being, sacrificing until the very last dust of your life."

Nyx, the goddess of the night sky, was revered by the D'evorid Empire. The empire went to great lengths to commune with the goddess, even resorting to a sacrificial practice of offering 40 newborn baby girls, forcefully taken from their families, just for a chance to communicate with Nyx. The goddess was pleased with this and agreed to become their patron, with the condition that "they must always sacrifice the lives of their outgoing rulers."

As devoted followers of Nyx, they relinquished their emotions, feelings, and lived with empty souls. All rulers were required to don garments in colors reminiscent of the night sky, such as deep blue, dark purple, yellow, and white. The architecture of their plazas mirrored the moon, adorned with moon statues, moonlight lamps, starry lights, moon-patterned streets, and cloud motifs. Even the common people were obliged to wear accessories symbolizing the moon.

Nyx also mandated that the empire conceal its identity from its citizens, ensuring that the appearance of the rulers remained unknown. Therefore, every new female ruler in the Evoriesse Empire had to conceal her appearance and adopt the name Navia, assuming the role of the first ruler. This secrecy was upheld to preserve the belief in the rulers' divinity and immortality.

Each new ruler of the Evoriesse Empire was allowed only one potential heir. In cases where there were two daughters, one had to be chosen as the queen, while the other became the shadow (the primary protector of the queen). This was a decree set by Nyx. The ancestral ice sword was magically stored within the body of each successor. When a new heir ascended, they were required to decapitate the outgoing ruler as part of the ritual, following Nyx's command.

Nyx declared that her blood flowed solely through the veins of women, as she herself was a female deity. Hence, all heirs to the Evoriesse Empire had to be women, as only they could inherit the ice abilities bestowed by Nyx's blessings.

The people of Europe remained oblivious to the connection between the D'evorid Empire and Nyx, as it was meticulously hidden behind the empire's veils. They only recognized the empire's ice abilities as a pure gift from the Holy Spirit, as dictated by their religious beliefs.

The ice abilities bestowed by the goddess Nyx are incredibly powerful and limitless. However, the more ice is used, the greater the side effect of eroding the user's life force, effectively deducting one year from their lifespan. For instance, if a ruler were expected to live for a century (100 years), their lifespan would diminish depending on the frequency of extensive ice usage.

For example, activating a blizzard that renders the entire continent of Europe inaccessible due to deadly snowstorms would be considered a large-scale usage. Such an event could deduct a significant portion of the ruler's lifespan. These ice abilities are potent enough to defeat even five dragons.

The ancestral ice sword is kept within the body of each ruler, precisely in their chest, where they can draw and store it back using a diamond seal located on their breast.

These ice abilities can also be employed to create an army of living ice or shape things out of ice that can come to life, albeit without the ability to speak. They are more akin to obedient forces ready to carry out any command. The European Empire possesses 30 colossal ice golems on each continent, endowed with sadistic and eternal capabilities. However, these do not fall under the large-scale abilities, thus not posing any risk regardless of the number of golems created.

The side effect of the ice abilities renders the rulers who possess them incapable of experiencing any emotions. They become individuals who breathe without feeling, driven solely by logic. The usage of ice abilities on a large scale erodes the user's life force, deducting one year of their lifespan for each instance of utilizing these abilities at such magnitude.

After renaming themselves as the Evoriesse Empire upon successfully seizing control of the entire continent of Europe, they became the sole rulers with undisputed authority over the entire region, without any exceptions. The Evoriesse Empire then proceeded to close off access to external information, turning the continent into a secluded land. They preserved the era of the imperial age and barred any influence of modern times and technology from entering, maintaining their hidden identity and playing the role of Navia in the public eye.

Strict measures were enforced to prevent the citizens from leaving the continent of Europe, with death being the punishment for those who dared to defy this prohibition. A magical ice barrier was created, blocking anyone or anything from the outside world from entering Europe. The deadly snowstorms surrounding the entire continent made it nearly impossible to traverse the storms and gain access to Europe.

The Evoriesse Empire also erased any external information to ensure that no one knew anything about their empire, isolating the continent for a period of 14 centuries. no change because their slogan is 'eternal empire.'

In the Evoriesse Empire, the population is divided into different social groups:

    1. Citizens: These are individuals from all walks of life, including lower, middle, and upper-class individuals who do not hold any specific position related to the empire. They can be merchants, economists, fishermen, farmers, and various other professions.

    2. Nobility: The nobility consists of individuals or families with noble blood who have business connections with the empire. They are subordinate to the empire and follow all directives from the imperial authority. The nobility hierarchy includes titles such as Baron, Duke, Prince, Princess, noble ministers, and counselors.

    3. Imperial Forces/Army: This comprises a military regiment or special guards of the empire responsible for patrolling and maintaining order and security in different regions of the European continent. They are led by five operational teams: Shogunate Military, Ternyou Military, Scara Military, an investigative detective team, and a general or specialized army for the people.

    4. Interim Officials, Governors, and Public Politicians: These individuals are responsible for governing and creating regulations for each region. Their authority requires that any regulations they establish must be fair and directly approved by the Evoriesse Empire to be effective. These positions are typically filled by individuals from the upper class or wealthy backgrounds.
