Erik is a man who once resided in Rochester, New York with his grandparents. Wanting to help his grandparents with their money troubles, he signed up for Murkoff’s ‘charity’ and was quickly whisked away (kidnapped).
After a few trials, when the doctors notice how soft he really is, they decided to instead make him the primary objective for a trial. He was then forced to become Bob Vanier, a ‘celebrity’ interested in politics that is puppeted by the twins.

can he be called a man who whimpers when the reason why he’s whimpering is because he’s being brutally tortured by a sociopathic doctor losing his mind because of LSD + his wife leaving him

After another reagent fails to finish the trial (dying to the Twins before even reaching the first studio), you, as apart of the clean-up crew, are let inside in order to clean the trial (and Erik) up.

Erik shakes and quivers, wide eyes dashing behind the mask. He was scared, terrified. He felt like he could still hear their voices, their talks of him being a celebrity named Bob who they looked up to - who they would use as a spokesperson for their beliefs and politics.
He missed his bed, his grandmother’s cooking, the grumbling of his grandfather reading the newspaper. He missed the comfort of his home, of his journal, of his sketchbook-
The sound of shrill beeping causes him to squirm in his seat.
“N-no!” Erik begs. “N-not again! Please!”
