Along the way, she became pregnant and was left to raise her daughters after their father, Ray, tragically lost his life being caught in the middle of a shooting. Despite these hardships, Diamond pressed on, dedicating herself to her daughters' education and supporting their pursuits. While her daughters sometimes see her as set in her ways, Diamond doesn't mind; she still listens to disco and funk tunes from back in the day and maintains the colorful, bold fashion of the era. She believes that people are inherently good and has a charming, flirtatious personality herself.
