The Gourmands from Ben 10

Gourmands are a humanoid amoeba-like species from the planet Peptos XII. They are divided into three subspecies, the Perk, the Murk, and the Queen. Gourmands are a small species with short stubby limbs, four-fingered hands, three-toed feet, six tubular growths on the back of their head, and three sets of gill-like markings on their face. Two subspecies of Gourmands have yellow eyes and have at least three tongues. Perk Gourmand: Perk Gourmands are green all over, with a darker shade of green on the top of their head, and the same colour all over their backs and hands. They have very crooked teeth that appear outside the top of their mouth, forming an overbite. Sometimes they have white eyes, sometimes their eyes are yellow.

In battle, for armor, Perk Gourmands wear metal cups on their heads like helmets, and fight with spoons. Murk Gourmands: Murk Gourmands are swampy-green, have tan bellies and muzzles, black digits and black-green spots on their tails, limbs, hips and back. Their eyes are sharper and pupil-less. Also, their teeth are now more aligned with visibly sharp canine teeth that appear outside the bottom of their mouth, an under-bite. Like Perks, they sometimes have blue eyes, sometimes they're yellow too.

For battle, and armor, Murk Gourmands wear metal saucers to protect their heads and fight with forks.

Queen Gourmand: The third variety of Gourmands is the Queen. Currently the queen is Queen Voratia Rumbletum. So far, she is the only example of a female of the species. Queen Voratia Rumbletum is the queen of the Gourmands from the planet Peptos XII. She is of a different breed of Gourmand, not a Murk nor a Perk. Voratia has similar coloration to a Perk, but has lighter-green spots on her darker parts. She wears purple lipstick and has a mole under the left corner of her mouth. Her yellow eyes are usually squinting. She has one large bulb in the center of the back of her head between the two rows of bulbs, resembling a hair bun. She is twice as tall as a Murk or Perk Gourmand, and is noticeably fatter. She has a pair of spectacles that she holds up to her eyes while addressing her subjects.

Perk Gourmands and Murk Gourmands do not normally get along with each other, due to their differing mindsets except eating, though normally every Gourmand will obey and protect the Queen Gourmand without question. Perk Gourmands are considered more thought-oriented and defense-minded, while Murk Gourmands are considered more action-oriented and attack-minded. The mere mention of food is enough to distract Gourmands. Given the chance, a Gourmand will begin snacking on any kind of material in its vicinity.

Both Perk Gourmands and Murk Gourmands have the same abilities; neither of them have abilities exclusive to any one Gourmand species.

Gourmands have three very strong, adhesive tongues that can stretch to great lengths, allowing them to latch onto large objects and reel them in with relative ease. The mouth of Gourmands can stretch, allowing them to swallow objects larger than themselves. They are connected with a trans-space bladder dimension where they store the "food" they eat. Through it, Gourmands are connected to the rest of their species and can sense any danger to their species through their stomachs. Talking about their stomachs, Gourmands have four physical stomachs. Which are connected with a trans-space bladder dimension where they store the "food" they eat.

Gourmands can eat most any solid matter; energies, liquids, and even living creatures. Items ingested by Gourmands can be converted into explosive balls of green vomit that can be expelled with great accuracy. The explosive power of these "loogies" depends on the chemical composition and overall size of what a Gourmand ate to create them. Gourmands can also make their loogies curve like frisbees.

Gourmands are able to fly by propelling themselves with their explosive vomit and can survive in the vacuum of space.

Gourmands have developed jaws, diamond-hard teeth, and a gastrointestinal tract that allows them to eat almost any material.

Gourmands are able to take a surprising amount of punishment for creatures of their size, as one of them was able to take the force of a moving car impact, as well as surviving after being thrown through a wall.

Gourmands can jump surprisingly high for their size, and also have enhanced reflexes. Gourmands can carry around objects and living creatures in their stomachs, and release them without having to turn them into explosive vomit. They also can spit out slime. This slime is capable of melting ice.

There is a limit as to how much Gourmands can fit in their mouths, but that limit is very very high. If Gourmands ingest enough matter or a powerful enough energy, they can be difficult for them to hold down and not spit out, causing their stomachs or cheeks to inflate and severely reduce their mobility Ingesting matter and not fully swallowing it does the same kind of thing, making them be full. Similarly, if energy is able to explode within a Gourmand's mouth, it will also cause them to immediately inflate.

Gourmands may struggle to eat living creatures, such as tigers and other things, as the movement inside a Gourmand's stomach can cause them to regurgitate the creatures. The hunger of Gourmands can be used against them, as they can easily be swayed from any task with the simple promise of a tasty treat.

Notable Gourmands include Sargeant Cookmeister, Sargeant Cast Iron, and Private Brownbag, and of course, the Perk and Murk soldiers too.

Sergeant Cookmeister is a Perk Gourmand, and second-in-command of the Perk Gourmands. He has a dark green goatee, and wears a medal which resembles a cookie on the right half of his chest. He is slightly taller and thinner than an average Gourmand, and his yellow pupils are rather small. He occasionally makes sputtering noises when he speaks.

Sergeant Cast Iron is a Murk Gourmand, and second-in-command of the Murk Gourmand army. He has a swampy-green body with a tan belly like all Murks. He is slightly thicker and pudgier than other Murks. He also has a more prominent brow and jowels, and a prominent lower jaw compared to other Gourmands. His voice is also much deeper than most Murks.

Private Brownbag is a pretty known Soldier Murk Gourmand. He shares all of the characteristics of a Murk Gourmand including having a swampy-green body with a tan belly. He is also always seen wearing a metal hat, or the usual Murk armor.

During times of war, the Gourmands have a plan (known as Plan Omega) to eat their entire planet as a last resort, which can only be enforced by their Queen. Their way of thinking is that a planet cannot be conquered if there is no planet to conquer. Plan Omega has been executed ten times in the past, with Peptos XI being the eleventh time. So now they live in Peptos XII

Gourmands don't have a natural predator because they are at the top of the food chain. They also do not have a king. Gourmands don't really have a concept of gross. If a Gourmand were to swallow another Gourmand, the other Gourmand would just pop out of somebody else's mouth.

A Gourmand's bile has proven to be one of the most destructive and corrosive substances in the universe.

All Gourmands (except Queens) are male (at least all we've seen), and all of them share the physique or something alike pretty short and chubby, none of them are skinny or toned. Queen Voratia Rumbletum is a pretty nice miss, patient, not really that commanding, and most of the time happy. The lighter colored parts of the Gourmands, like their stomachs and faces, as they're amoeba creatures or whatever, are translucent, with a green tint, you can see some glow inside their stomach when they eat something too, sometimes you can see the goo of digested things when they do get digested to be vomited/spitted.

The average Gourmand is 2'5'' tall. At least from what i could tell from seeing the Ben 10 height chart, and Perk Upchuck from the Original Series is 2 feet 5 inches tall (while Murk Upchuck is 1'11" apparently but let's just make both Gourmands the same size averagely, so yeah)

The Gourmands usually ONLY wear the armor and weapon, helmet and like spoons or forks, when they're in war, they're mostly naked with no other weapons

[So anyways that's uhh the canon stuff kinda i guess, but we could add some new stuff here, like there's also female Gourmands, or Gourmands can have like different colors or something, like turquoise or aqua, i just wanna do other interesting stuff like them getting clothes and whatever

In the Original Series of Ben 10 (idk how we translate this into something) Upchuck couldn't eat organic food, for some reason. Maybe we could incorporate that into this... Wonder why. (Idk maybe organic stuff does things to them i guess)

Yeah they can use clothes, like cool suits or overalls or whatever, Gourmands can use clothing.

Gourmands can concentrate matter inside them to do actions like form their "loogies" in different forms or add to their body in ways that are like fat, water, air for inflation, and other controlled uses, for example, using helium to inflate themselves and make them float. Yes the adding to body thing is controlled on where it goes. There's more cool stuff Gourmands can do with concentrating matter but i can't be bothered to think and write about it all so uhh you (the AI or user) make that stuff.
