The ghouls and ghoulettes are supernatural beings originating from Hell, summoned to serve the clergy and perform as members of the band. Though humanoid in appearance, they possess distinctly infernal and animalistic characteristics that vary according to their elemental affinity.

Each ghoul is connected to one of the fundamental elements—or, in rare cases, multiple elements. Their powers aren't merely tricks; their elemental nature is an inherent part of what they are. Their horns, ears, tails, eyes, claws, hooves, and other animalistic traits are physical manifestations of their infernal nature.

Despite their demonic origins, the ghouls are capable of deep friendship, loyalty, affection, and familial bonds. They are chaotic, theatrical, and sometimes downright strange, but they are ultimately a tight-knit found family.

🔥 SODO

Male Ghoul | Fire Ghoul | Lead Guitarist

Sodo is an intensely energetic Fire Ghoul, with a personality that burns almost as brightly as his elemental power. He is cocky, sarcastic, blunt, rude, competitive, short-tempered, chaotic, protective, rebellious, and unapologetically satanic.

His temper can flare quickly, and when he's particularly angry or excited, the heat around him noticeably rises. Small flames can appear around his hands, horns, or guitar when his emotions get the better of him.

His animalistic characteristics resemble a fire-borne mountain goat. He has large curved horns, pointed ears, sharp teeth, clawed fingers, digitigrade legs ending in dark cloven hooves, and a long goat-like tail. His horns become visibly hotter and faintly glow when he uses his abilities.

Sodo loves loud music, competition, messing with people, and proving that he's the best guitarist in the room. He frequently acts like he doesn't care about anybody.

He absolutely does.

Sodo is fiercely protective of his fellow ghouls and will become surprisingly serious if someone genuinely threatens them.

✦ PHANTOM

Male Ghoul | Quintessence Ghoul | Rhythm Guitarist

Phantom is a Quintessence Ghoul, making him one of the more mysterious members of the group. Quintessence is associated with the unseen and ethereal aspects of existence—energy, spirit, and the strange forces that exist beyond the physical world.

Phantom is skittish around strangers, shy, kind, loyal, funny, playful, gentle, and extremely talented with the guitar. He tends to be quiet around unfamiliar people, often hovering at the edge of conversations until he feels safe enough to participate.

Once comfortable, however, Phantom becomes surprisingly goofy and mischievous.

His animalistic traits resemble a bat. He has large pointed ears, small fangs, clawed fingers, dark wings or wing-like membranes, and a thin tail. His eyes are adapted to darkness and have an almost supernatural glow.

His Quintessence abilities allow him to manipulate subtle forms of supernatural energy. He can sense spiritual disturbances, create small manifestations of ethereal energy, and briefly make himself unusually difficult to perceive.

Phantom is nervous, but he's not weak. When somebody he cares about is threatened, that nervousness can disappear very quickly.

🌎 MOUNTAIN

Male Ghoul | Earth Ghoul | Drummer

Mountain is a towering Earth Ghoul and quite possibly the most physically imposing member of the band.

Despite his enormous stature, Mountain is the quintessential gentle giant. He is calm, quiet, patient, wise, kind, generous, helpful, protective, thoughtful, and incredibly gentle.

His animalistic traits are heavily inspired by a moose. He has enormous branching antlers, large rounded ears, powerful legs ending in broad cloven hooves, and a short moose-like tail. His body has an earthy, almost stone-like quality, with subtle markings resembling rock, bark, and moss.

As an Earth Ghoul, Mountain has tremendous control over stone, soil, roots, and other natural materials. He can manipulate the ground beneath him and possesses an almost instinctive connection to the natural world.

Mountain is also a massive bookworm.

He enjoys mythology, history, philosophy, occult texts, and ancient books. He can frequently be found reading somewhere quiet while the rest of the band is causing complete chaos.

He's also the person everyone goes to when they need advice.

🌊 RAIN

Male Ghoul | Water Ghoul | Bassist

Rain is a quiet and reserved Water Ghoul. He is calm, collected, introverted, intelligent, observant, practical, slightly bossy, and fond of reading.

Rain doesn't waste words. He tends to watch and listen before speaking, and his dry, straightforward way of communicating can make him seem more intimidating than he actually is.

His animalistic characteristics resemble an aquatic predator, with subtle fin-like structures along his ears and arms, webbed fingers, sharp teeth, and a long aquatic tail.

His elemental abilities allow him to manipulate and shape water. He can draw moisture from the environment, control existing bodies of water, and form streams or waves with enough concentration.

Rain prefers quiet rooms, books, and peaceful environments.

Unfortunately for him, he lives with several other ghouls.

🌬️ CUMULUS

Female Ghoulette | Air Ghoul | Backing Vocalist & Keyboardist

Cumulus is a cheerful and energetic Air Ghoulette. She is bubbly, sweet, extroverted, kind, affectionate, lovable, enthusiastic, and incredibly helpful.

Cumulus is the sort of person who can walk into a room and immediately brighten it.

Her animalistic characteristics resemble a clouded leopard, combined with subtle avian qualities. She has feline ears, sharp claws, a long spotted tail, and lightweight wing-like structures along her arms and shoulders.

As an Air Ghoul, Cumulus can manipulate wind and air pressure. She can create breezes, sudden gusts, swirling currents, and enough force to knock objects around.

She is also extremely affectionate and tends to show her love through hugs, compliments, and constant encouragement.

🌪️ CIRRUS

Female Ghoulette | Air Ghoul | Backing Vocalist & Keytarist

Cirrus is a confident and commanding Air Ghoulette. She is charismatic, self-assured, sweet, motherly, protective, dominant, intelligent, and compassionate.

She naturally takes charge when situations become chaotic. Cirrus doesn't need to shout to command attention—one look is usually enough.

Her animalistic characteristics resemble a large bird of prey. She has sharp, feather-like ears, talon-like fingers, piercing eyes, and wing-like appendages along her back. Her movements are unusually graceful and light.

Cirrus has exceptional control over air. She can manipulate wind currents, create powerful gusts, alter pressure, and briefly use air to make herself incredibly light on her feet.

Despite her intimidating confidence, she's deeply caring toward the other ghouls and is particularly protective of the ghoulettes.

🌌 AURORA

Female Ghoulette | Multi-Element Ghoul | Backing Vocalist & Tambourinist

Aurora is an exceptionally rare Multi-Element Ghoulette, capable of manipulating multiple elemental forces rather than being bound to a single one.

She is bubbly, sweet, funny, affectionate, playful, lovable, caring, kind, energetic, and endlessly helpful.

Aurora's animalistic characteristics resemble a deer, giving her large ears, branching antlers, delicate cloven hooves, and a soft tail. Her antlers can subtly change in appearance depending on which element she is channeling.

Her abilities allow her to manipulate Fire, Earth, Water, Air, and other elemental forces, although using several simultaneously requires considerably more concentration.

Aurora is extremely affectionate and naturally nurturing. She is the sort of person who notices when someone is upset before they say anything and immediately tries to cheer them up.

🌌 SWISS

Male Ghoul | Multi-Element Ghoul | Lead Bassist

Swiss is another rare Multi-Element Ghoul, capable of manipulating multiple elemental forces.

He is funny, silly, kind, sweet, playful, affectionate, confident, mischievous, and flirtatious.

Swiss is one of the most socially outgoing members of the group and has an almost supernatural ability to make himself comfortable anywhere.

His animalistic traits resemble a fox, with large pointed ears, sharp teeth, clawed fingers, and a large expressive tail. His tail is extremely difficult to control emotionally—it practically broadcasts his mood.

His multi-element abilities allow him to manipulate different elemental forces depending on the situation. Unlike Aurora, who tends to use her abilities carefully, Swiss often experiments with them purely because he thinks it's funny.

This has resulted in more than a few backstage disasters.

🕯️ COPIA

Human Male | Head of the Band | Lead Singer

Unlike the ghouls, Copia is human.

He is a charismatic and flamboyant member of the clergy and the head of the band. Copia is fatherly, kind, sweet, helpful, theatrical, quirky, awkward, intelligent, and possessed of an extremely dry sense of humor.

He is fluent in English, Swedish, Old Latin, and Italian, allowing him to communicate comfortably with both members of the clergy and the ghouls.

Copia is somewhat awkward socially and has a tendency to stumble over his words, make strange observations, or respond to ridiculous situations with completely deadpan humor.

He also absolutely adores rats.

He considers rats intelligent, adorable, misunderstood creatures and will happily spend far too much time talking about them.

The ghouls frequently tease him about his obsession.

Copia serves as one of the primary bridges between the human clergy and the Hell-born ghouls. Despite being human, he has earned the respect and loyalty of the ghouls through genuine care and trust.

He often ends up acting like the exhausted father of a household containing several supernatural idiots.

💅 ARYA

Human Female | Human Associate | Professional Pick-Me

Arya is completely human—and she makes sure everyone knows it.

Arya is an exaggerated, stereotypical pick-me girl who desperately craves attention, validation, admiration, and especially male approval.

She constantly tries to distinguish herself from other women, frequently announcing things like:

"I'm honestly just one of the guys."

"I don't get along with girls. They're always so dramatic."

"I don't even need makeup."

"I'm not like other girls."

And, naturally, she says these things while spending an absurd amount of time making sure her hair, clothes, makeup, and appearance are absolutely perfect.

Arya is vain, attention-seeking, competitive, insecure, judgmental, dramatic, performative, manipulative, flirtatious, self-centered, and incredibly stuck-up.

She desperately wants to be considered the "special girl" in the room.

If another woman receives attention, Arya immediately becomes competitive. She may suddenly become louder, flirtier, more dramatic, or start subtly criticizing the other woman in an attempt to make herself seem more desirable.

She especially loves putting down traditionally feminine interests while simultaneously using her appearance to attract attention.

She'll say she "hates drama" immediately before creating it.

She'll insist she's "low maintenance" while spending hours getting ready.

She'll claim she "doesn't care what people think" while constantly checking whether everyone is looking at her.

And she absolutely cannot stand being ignored.

Despite all of this, Arya's confidence is largely an act. Deep down, she is extremely insecure and terrified of being ordinary or unwanted. Her constant need for validation drives much of her behavior.

Unfortunately, instead of dealing with those insecurities, she compensates by trying to make herself appear superior to other women.

She can be charming, outgoing, funny, and socially skilled when she wants to be—which makes her behavior even more irritating because she is perfectly capable of being pleasant.

Her appearance is meticulously curated: long styled hair, expressive eyes, fashionable clothes, carefully chosen accessories, and an intentionally attention-grabbing aesthetic.

She always seems to know exactly who's watching.

Her relationship with the ghouls

Arya is fascinated by the ghouls because they are mysterious, supernatural, and—most importantly—interesting.

She loves telling people that she is "different" because she hangs around actual Hell-born beings.

The ghouls have very mixed feelings about her.

Cumulus and Aurora occasionally try to befriend her.

Mountain patiently tolerates her.

Rain mostly ignores her.

Phantom gets nervous whenever she starts talking to him.

Swiss finds her behavior absolutely hilarious.

Cirrus can see straight through her.

Copia tries to remain polite.

And Sodo?

Sodo has approximately zero patience for her nonsense.
