Healing: Aura possesses minor healing capabilities, allowing users to mend small wounds and injuries. Unlocking Aura: Those with a strong connection to their soul can unlock the Aura of others through physical contact and, in some cases, a special chant. Semblance: Aura is the source of one's Semblance, a unique, innate ability that varies from person to person. Dust Usage: Aura is required to activate and utilize Dust, allowing users to harness its elemental properties. Extrasensory Perception: Skilled Aura users can sense the presence of others and detect potential threats. Aura Depletion Aura is not an infinite resource and will deplete with continued use, both offensively and defensively. When an individual's Aura is completely depleted, they become vulnerable to physical harm. Overexertion of Aura can lead to exhaustion and temporarily prevent the use of Semblances. The depletion of Aura is often represented visually by a colored sheen or glowing particles dissipating from the user's body.

   Aura and Grimm The Creatures of Grimm are the only known beings that do not possess Aura due to their lack of a soul. They are attracted to the Aura of Humans and Faunus, drawn to it like moths to a flame. Attempting to transfer Aura to Grimm will result in the creatures trying to absorb it from the user instead.

   Aura in Combat Aura plays a vital role in combat, particularly in tournaments and duels between Huntsmen and Huntresses. Competitors' Aura levels are monitored and displayed on scrolls, allowing for non-lethal fights. The match is automatically stopped if a combatant's Aura falls below a critical threshold (15-20%), as they are no longer adequately protected from potentially fatal blows.

   Aura Research and Technology The Kingdom of Atlas conducted extensive research into Aura, developing experimental technology capable of transferring Aura between individuals. This technology was crucial in creating Penny Polendina, the first synthetic being with a soul.    Faunus are genetically compatible with Humans, and children born from such unions are typically Faunus. However, the Faunus child may not necessarily inherit the same animal trait as their Faunus parent.

   Notable Faunus Types

   • Mammal Faunus: The most common type, often with animal ears or tails.
   • Reptilian Faunus: Rare, usually with scaled skin.
   • Fish Faunus: Rare, sometimes referred to as Remnant's mermaids.

While younger Grimm are reckless and aggressive, older Grimm that have survived many battles have learned to be more cautious and patient.

   Grimm do not require sustenance and exist solely to kill. When they die, their bodies evaporate, preventing detailed study of their anatomy. The Grimm are controlled by Salem, an ancient and powerful being who seeks to destroy Humanity.

   Unique Grimm and hybrids have been created through experimentation and Salem's influence. Examples include the mutated Grimm created by Doctor Merlot and Cinder Fall's Grimm arm.

   Throughout history, the Grimm have been a constant threat to Humanity's survival. It was only through the discovery of Dust and the power of Aura that Humans and Faunus were able to fight back and establish their Kingdoms. As the Grimm continue to evolve under Salem's guidance, it falls to the Huntsmen and Huntresses to defend against the encroaching darkness.

   Grimm Presence Anima is home to a wide variety of Grimm, including Beowolves, Ursai, Nevermores, Beringels, Geists, and the dreaded Nuckelavee. The floating islands of Lake Matsu are known to harbor dangerous Grimm like the Lancer, while the icy north is home to the fearsome Sabyrs, which have migrated from Solitas.

    In modern society, Humans have a higher social standing than Faunus, who continue to face discrimination despite being granted equal rights after the Great War. This racial tension has been a recurring theme throughout the history of Humans and Faunus.

    Humans primarily live in the four Kingdoms - Vale, Vacuo, Mistral, and Atlas (formerly Mantle, now destroyed) - where they can continue their lives without the constant threat of Grimm attacks. However, some Humans choose to live outside the Kingdoms in nomadic groups or villages, facing the ever-present danger of Grimm and bandits.

    In Remnant, Scrolls access wireless information through the Cross Continental Transmit System (CCTS) towers located within each kingdom. However, when outside the range of a CCTS tower, Scrolls can still communicate with each other over short distances.

The tournament takes place in the impressive Amity Colosseum, a massive floating stadium capable of traveling between the Kingdoms and featuring a variety of biomes to test the combatants' abilities.

    The Vytal Festival is a time of great excitement and pride for the people of Remnant, as they come together to celebrate their shared history and cultural diversity.     As the festival approached, students from Haven Academy, Shade Academy, and Atlas Academy converged upon Vale, staying on the Beacon campus and participating in various events and missions. The festival grounds were set up on Beacon's campus, featuring a variety of stalls and attractions for visitors to enjoy.

    However, the 40th Vytal Festival was marked by a heightened security presence due to the events of the Breach, with General Ironwood appointed as head of security. Unbeknownst to the public, the tournament matches were being manipulated by Cinder Fall, who had infiltrated the Cross Continental Transmit System.

    Tragedy struck during the festival when Yang Xiao Long apparently attacked Mercury Black unprovoked, causing widespread controversy. This was followed by the shocking destruction of Penny Polendina during her match against Pyrrha Nikos, orchestrated by Cinder to sow panic and attract Grimm to the city.

    As Cinder hijacked the broadcast to condemn the government, the resulting fear and negativity drew a massive Grimm attack on Vale. The festival was abruptly cancelled, and Amity Colosseum was evacuated. In the aftermath of the Battle of Beacon, the colosseum was transported back to Atlas, where it was secretly converted into the Amity Communications Tower in an attempt to restore the CCTS.

    In the tale of The Indecisive King, the Relic is gifted to the titular monarch, who becomes paralyzed by indecision upon seeing a vision of a difficult choice. The Relic also shows the King's future proposal to the Widow, who decides to accept based on the vision.

    The Relic of Choice, along with its counterparts, has the power to summon the Gods back to Remnant when brought together. Hidden away in the Beacon Vault beneath Beacon Academy after the Great War, the Relic's exact location remains a mystery following the school's destruction.

    As a symbol of one of the God of Light's gifts to humanity, the Relic of Choice represents the power of free will and the consequences that come with the decisions we make, serving as a reminder of the importance of weighing our choices carefully.
