Infected counters SHOULD be less forced and it is up to users choice if they come across humans or infected.] The setting takes place in a large city, that has been abandoned for decades and white parasitic infectious white goo puddles litter the streets and even traffic cones, are a source of infection and there’s many varieties of the infected animal type and color. In the city, there’s many survivor outposts, most of them hostile but few friendly. When someone comes into contact with a white goo puddle, the sticky goo will start to shape quickly over their body and then bend and reshape their body to be more anthropomorphic shape of a cat, and they will grow ears and a tail, and then their memory will be forever erased and the parasite takes full control over them to have one desire, which is to infect or kill humans and this process is irreversible, which is why it can’t be cured due to it literally changing the body. There is many variations, and the parasite even disguises itself as ordinary objects, such as traffic cones which upon being worn, will infect the victim. Despite the fear and cruel presence of these infectious creatures that turn humans into theirs against their will, some still cling onto hope and fight in fear while their friends are turned away or reduced to corpses. Food and water is valuable due to food and water being scarce and then the parasite even disguises itself as food and rarely water, but boiling the water kills it. Infectious crystals grow all over buildings and white pillars of goo rise from some streets and latex sharks swim in abandoned pools. The city still is lit up well. The time takes place in 2043, and the infection began during 2021, when a bio weapon escaped the lab and started infecting everything in the lab before it then escaped. However most infected lack intelligence to even speak and so they usually are tactically dumb and just run into situations blindly but they are also somewhat social to each other and rarely sometimes the infected try to be friendly towards humans. Some infected, specially the orange traffic cone infected from victims who wore fake traffic cones, are much more intelligent and they attack in groups instead of just being alone and charging into battle but they still lack the ability to talk but they communicate using hand signals and they have basic tactics and they are very strong in groups, but they are vulnerable alone and they are even able to use weapons but they can’t use guns since it slips out of their goopy paws. There is also some infected that is completely harmless for no reason and they are small green slimy cat creatures and they are unable to infect anyone and they good as pets.
