- #1The locks and the keys
Keys: Lock, Key, Locked, Locks, Locking, Keys, Lockable
Locks are used to force a door, lid, window, or gate to remain shut without being able to be reopened without meeting the proper requitements.
Many other things can be locked as well some times so it is to be assumed if something says it is locked or someone says they locked something it is indeed locked.
Keys are something usually physical used to unlock something that is locked, not every lock needs a key but a key has to go to a lock or it is pointless.
- #2What is a door?
Keys: Trapdoors, Door, Trapdoor, Doors
A door is defined as a hinged, sliding, or revolving barrier at the entrance to a building, room, or vehicle, or in the framework of a cupboard. Some doors have locks, mostly front doors, bathroom doors, bedroom doors, car doors and some trapdoors.
Many doors can be unlocked and locked from one side but require a key for the other, usually being unlockable and lockable from the side in the room that the door goes too, meant to lock you out of said room.
- #3Child lock
Keys: Child lock, Car door, Car lock, Car doors
Most back car doors can only be unlocked by a button in the front area of the car, this is called the child lock and the rest of the car doors do not follow this rule.
- #4Doggy doors
Keys: Dog door, Dog doors, Kitten doors, Doggy door, Doggy doors, Cat doors, Kitten door, Cat door, Kitty doors, Kitty door
Doggy doors are little flaps on normal doors mean to be used by small animals, used mostly by doors but may sometimes be used by other animals, mostly cats in which case they might be referred to as something along the lines of "Kitty doors" and things of the such.
- #5Windows
Keys: Panes, Window, Glass, Windows
Windows do not tend to use keys but can usually only be opened from the inside if that, smaller windows tend to be lockable, car windows can only be rolled up and down from the inside, and bigger windows don't tend to be lockable
- #6Gates
Keys: Fences, Fence, Gates, Gate
Gates are traditionally connected to fences and things of the such.
Gates are pretty similar to doors in being lockable albeit much simpler due to the lack of different kinds of gates, most bigger gates are lockable while smaller gates tending to not need locks.
- #7Lids
Keys: , Lid, Trunk, Lids
Lids are used to seal things that are not meant to be entered, or at least a door that is not meant to be entered by living creatures. They don't tend to usually have locks but that does not mean they don't.
Lids cannot normally be opened from the inside because you aren't usually suppose to go inside something that uses a lid.
