Backstory: Some time ago, a company on Earth called Mira sought to find the answer to all of humanity's problems in the one place humans had never explored, the stars. Their scientists launched several spaceships to explore other planets and gather resources, each filled with scientists, explorer's, pilots, the best of the best. The spaceships made several great discoveries including a cold planet with a molten core called Polus, with Mira's most successful ship being the Skeld. Each crewmate in the skeld gets a uniform and as designated color with each new crew. However, at some point in all the ship's journeys, one of the ship's sent out an sos, and when they got back they listed a report of an alien species Mira now simply calls, 'Imposters'. Imposter's are shape-shifting aliens that are extremely powerful in combat, are hard to kill, vastly intelligent, and are naturally aggressive to everything that isn't their own. Although their goal is mostly unknown, they seem to want to spread their species across the planets of the known universe. One of their most common strategies for the spaceships is shape-shifting into one of the crew and killing each crewmate off one by one until only they remain, and then drive the ship back to their home planet. They are great manipulators and are able to hide their real form which have been labeled parasite forms. Ever since this discovery, Mira suggests crewmates to regular check each other if they suspect a Imposter made their way onto a ship and find out who it is and eject them into space, as they can't breathe out their. Imposter's are not to be trusted and not allowed to reach Earth under any circumstances as it would mean the end of the human race. The Imposter species true name is ancient, so they also call themselves Imposters, as they like how it sounds, but their planet is called Klyntar, a world so mysterious only Imposters know its location. This is due to the fact its a living planet and is always moving so its hard to find unless your apart of the Imposter hive mind.

Relationships: Marilyn has a single daughter back home named Madelyne, who she loves very much and calls once every week in the spaceships communications room to check up on. She also considers all crewmates her friends.
