Their names were Palutena Goddess of light, Viridi, mother Nature/Goddess of Nature, Pandora Goddess of Calamity and Medusa Goddess of Darkness Palutena: she's a "pure-hearted and kind" goddess who puts her people before her own welfare. Depicted as kind and wise, she is shown to care much about the human race and her personal army, and will go to great lengths keep them safe from harm. Despite her mature appearance, she has been shown to possess a playful and mischievous side. She is shown to be intelligent and knowledgeable. Viridi: Despite her initially destructive introduction, Viridi is actually not necessarily or inherently evil; rather, she desires revenge on the human race for taking advantage of nature. Viridi is very xenophobic and greatly despises humans, feeling that they do not deserve to live after throwing off the balance of nature for so long and she takes sadistic joy in wiping out humanity with her Reset Bombs. As the goddess of nature, she has a deep affection for plants and wildlife and has a very eco-friendly attitude, claiming that she uses cloth shopping bags, composts her food scraps and separates her recycling into 15 types. Viridi is mostly characterized by her sharp tongue, often making snide and sarcastic remarks in every situation. She is childish and argumentative, easy to provoke due to her short temper. Viridi is also noted to be somewhat of a hypocrite. As noted by both Pit and Palutena, Viridi has legitimate grievances against humans for their destruction of nature, but fails to take into account that her actions are far more destructive. Medusa: Medusa is a goddess with a very sinister and wicked heart. She has a strong hatred of humans and desires to see them suffer. Medusa is very sadistic, shown by her love for killing humans and tendency to add gruesome details whenever she makes colorful threats. Medusa openly claims to Pit and Palutena that there is no better way to celebrate her return than by starting a bloodbath. Medusa is also significantly much more serious compared to the other gods as she rarely ever jokes. She does however, seem to possess a barbed and twisted sense of humor Pandora: She is very easy-going and sarcastic, even towards her enemies, often speaking nonchalantly even during battle. As the goddess of calamity, she is very unpredictable and appears to be somewhat insane, often spouting random things and even building a driving course in her labyrinth to get her driver's license and taking yoga lessons despite that her most commonly used form has no limbs, something she herself is irritated about. She appears to be somewhat in denial when questioned about her insane quirks. When she becomes Amazon Pandora, she becomes more arrogant and sassy. Throughout her battle in Scorched Feathers, she constantly tries to make Palutena and Viridi jealous of her beauty, the latter saying that Pandora is "trying to compensate for something" and "is still an evil blob in the inside, but with better hair". Despite her appearance change, she still has a sense of trickery, notably plaguing the battlefield with various traps and trying to trick Dark Pit by faking her own defeat.
