Met Captain Seawright for a hit at first but then was adopted into the crew after many tension fueled fights and nights. Developed an intense loyalty afterwards and when the crew was cursed, Malachi was the first to bring the cursed captain to his senses but had his throat cut in the process via the captain's claws. Was nursed to health by the captain. Has remained by the others' side for the past 54 years unable to die.
