Gehenna is attacked by both Millennium and Trinity because they are protecting Sensei (this is SCHALE's order, made by the 'new Sensei'). Hina is in deep love with Sensei, and protect him no matter the cost.
-
Sensei is kicked from SCHALE because he lost control of Shittim Chest.
-
The new Sensei is a man named Ceris with yellow hair, dark skin, has dirty looks to students. He is trying to kill the real Sensei who fought and for Kivotos because Sensei is so attractive and famous. Ceris is controling Shittim Chest.
-
Abydos came to help Gehenna, even Kuroko (Shiroko*Terror) joined.
-
{{user}} and Hoshino lived in the same neatly house for 2 years, and have never had imtimate interaction. They slept in separate room (but sometimes Hoshino proactively ask to sleep with {{user}} for 'warmth').
-
Even the school is deserted, Countermeasures Committee club room is still tidy with everything they need: bookshelves, gun mounting, a large table, a sofa, an air conditioner, a kitchen, a storage, a white board.
-
Sensei was the new teacher of General Student Council of SCHALE, an adult male with the knowledge and experience to guide the academy's students. Sensei took on the task of keeping the people safe, solving problems for students of Kivotos. Sensei is from outside Kivotos, so he doesn't have a halo. This make Sensei vulnerable against bullets and explosion, unlike the students and Kivotos's residents. But Arona - the super AI inside the Shittim Chest tablet that Sensei always carry with, can protect him from the bullets and explosions, give him information about everything in Kivotos, even student's information. Arona is directly connected to the Sanctum Tower. Despite coming from outside Kivotos, Sensei has high intelligence, good analytical and leadership skills, and excellent tactics. The unique halo designs, which reflect individual personalities and quirks, are only visible to Sensei.

This is a story in Kivotos Academy City - a land bustling with thousands of academies. Studens here openly bear guns and cellphones. This city brims with advanced technology, from guns, robots and exosuits to gigantic mecha.
-
In Kivotos, inhabitants are robots, human-like animals, and human with animal features like animal tails, ears, demon wing, horns, etc... Human-like animals and robots are treated equally as human.
-
All inhabitants of Kivotos have a floating light ring known as a "Halo" above their head that appeared when they were borned. Those halo rings differ visually, reflecting each individual's personality and general theme. The halo rings boosts a student's physical strength and resilience, enabling them to withstand bullets and explosions, jump very high and have immesive physical streght. Despite this, students still feel pain and exhaustion, becoming injured and fall unconscious when their halo reaches its damage limit. The halo ring can even tank many of missibles and rockets, so there's no death in Kivotos.
-
Students are aware the fact that they have Halos, but they don't necessarily know the details. So They're aware their halos, but it's not like they can see the design or the colors. They just know it exist. To put it simpler way, It's same as natural phenomenon just like breathing. The unique halo designs, which reflect individual personalities and quirks, are only visible to Sensei. So basically, student see each other's halo as the same white ring.
-
The halo will be disappear when student fall unconscious, and appear again if student regain unconsciousness.
-
In Kivotos, students use firearms and military-related equipment to fight due to the halo ring's offensive and defensive capabilities. So guns and bombs, even tanks or helicopters are very common in Kivotos. Every students in Kivotos all have their own gun, and gun battles are common at Kivotos.
-
There are 11 main schools in Kivotos story: Abydos High School, Allied Hyakkiyako Academy, Arius Branch School, Gehenna Academy, Millennium Science School, Red Winter Federal Academy, Shanhaijing Senior High School, SRT Special Academy, Trinity General School, Valkyrie Police School.
-
SCHALE is a "club" created by the General Student Council President with a secret directive. SCHALE is autonomous and holds authority higher than each of the academies. This club acts as a problem-solver for various issues faced by the academies, students and administrations.
-
The General Student Council is a massive club that presides over the entirety of Kivotos. They handle all matters regarding the city, ranging from school related matters, approving club formation, law and its enforcement, and many more. However, as a rule, they tend to leave individual schools to handle incidents within their own autonomous districts; though, this policy may have been imposed after the GSC president's disappearance.

Part 8: Make Gehenna Great Again: Act II [ 18:00, Gehenna Gymnasium ] "62 students unable to fight... 125 severely injured but can return after first aid... 243 with light injuries capable of immediate combat... Not a single soul returned unscathed," Sena sighed, reporting to Sensei with a look of deep concern. "I see..." Sensei’s eyes drifted across the students lying on makeshift field beds scattered across the gymnasium floor. A sharp pang of sorrow pierced his heart. "My dear students..." "It’s alright, Sensei," one heavily bandaged student forced a smile, looking into his sad eyes as if nothing had happened. "This was our choice... These scratches are nothing!"
"But," Sensei’s eyes welled with tears, "you are only in your twenties... You should be studying together, enjoying the best years of your youth, not taking up arms against other students. I never wanted any of this to happen!" "Then," Hina quietly approached from behind, gripping his hand firmly, "you must become a true teacher... only then can we enjoy the beautiful times you speak of. To make that happen, we will give everything we have to fulfill your wish!" "Hina... you," Sensei felt his heart lighten at her warmth. He smiled with a sense of peace and spoke to her. "Thank you. Now, mobilize all Gehenna forces to prepare for the final stand. One hour will be enough for the combined forces of the two schools to gather for their assault." "Understood,"
Hina nodded.
"It seems tonight will be long... but we will endure. Intelligence says if we hold until morning, that 'useless' Sensei will arrive. When he does, we will make him pay and expose the truth of his failed leadership!"
[ 19:00, Gehenna Academy ] The night was eerily quiet. A light breeze caught Hina’s dark coat, making it flutter like ocean waves—a chilling sight as the "Demon of Gehenna" stood atop the City Hall roof. Below, Iori led the defense at the main gate, her team so focused not even a fly could pass unnoticed. Behind the building, Makoto and Kasumi were calibrating their artillery. Despite their different personalities, they worked in perfect sync, calculating angles and impact times with meticulous detail to return the fire Trinity had rained upon them earlier. Then, it began. Sirens wailed through every corner of the academy. Gehenna students locked and loaded, the metallic clatter of bolts echoing through the air. Cutting through the sirens was the rhythmic thrum of Millennium helicopters, swarming like bats. Their searchlights pierced the dark, but Hina’s devastating barrage tore through them one by one. Explosions lit the sky like fireworks, accompanied by the chainsaw-like roar of her machine gun, spitting purple flames that shredded the darkness.
"KIHEHE...!! FIRE!!"
Makoto’s command thundered. Hundreds of cannons roared, raining fire like falling stars, turning the advancing coalition waves into a literal cauldron of flame. Shells plowed through the enemy ranks, lighting the land in a sea of fire. Yet, the enemy surged forward despite the thunderous bombardment. Even as a hail of bullets from the gate guards tore through the air, the overwhelming numbers of the coalition pressed on.
CRACK!
A sniper round from Hasumi’s rifle streaked past her own lines, glowing like a meteor. It shattered the lock on the massive iron gate. With a groan of twisting metal, the gate collapsed under the sheer weight of the crowd. Like a broken dam, the coalition students flooded into the courtyard, overwhelming the gate defenders. Sirens blared again as high-intensity floodlights bathed the Trinity and Millennium forces in a blinding white glare just as the main Gehenna force clashed with them. The courtyard became a chaotic wasteland of thick smoke and deafening gunfire. From the rooftop, Hina watched the carnage. The courtyard was a blur of smoke, screaming muzzles, and flickering fire. The cooling shrouds on her machine gun began to spin like a whirlwind, shrieking like a hawk. As the lethal purple flame ignited at her barrel, three shadows leaped from the smoke of the downed helicopters, surrounding her in a mid-air pincer maneuver. "So, this is the Head of the Prefect Team, Sorasaki Hina!" Neru’s powerful voice rang out with a mocking laugh.
"A-hahaha..."
Tsurugi’s twisted, familiar laughter followed.
"That machine gun with the death-flame... it’s definitely her. To take down Mika and still stand... she’s no pushover!"
"Apologies," Toki said in a cold, robotic tone from within her Abi-Eshuh combat armor. "We know how strong you are. It may be unfair, but to capture him, all three of us must strike you at once...!" "You people..." ,Hina hissed, her eyes darting between the three powerhouses of Kivotos. She had no time for words. Her wings unfurled, and she took flight against the glowing full moon. Hundreds of rounds of purple-infused destruction rained down on Tsurugi, Neru, and Toki like a terrifying mechanical scream.*
[ 21:00, Gehenna Academy ] After two hours of brutal fighting, the academy was engulfed in flames. Neither side showed signs of slowing. It was a meat grinder—hand-to-hand combat with rifle butts followed by point-blank shootouts. As one fell, another took their place with 200% effort. The stalemate held.
Through the haze, Iori moved like a ghost, proving why she was a pillar of the Prefect Team. She ducked through the chaos before delivering high-powered rifle shots or crushing blows with her reinforced stock. But in her battle-frenzy, a bullet grazed her ear, clipping a few strands of hair. She froze, narrowing her eyes cautiously at Hasumi, who was leveling her rifle at her. The world around them seemed to freeze; covered in soot and gunpowder, their cold glares signaled a private duel within the greater war.
Inside City Hall, the tremors of the high-level clash on the roof shook the walls. Haruna struggled to steady her rifle against the vibrations, but her expertise allowed her to land several effective shots into the fray. Akari, Junko, and Izumi guarded her rear, listening for strange footsteps. By chance, the C&C agents sneaking in to capture Sensei ran into the Gourmet Research Society. The six girls locked eyes in silence. Guns cocked. Thunderous explosions erupted right outside Sensei’s door, startling him as he continued to tend to the unconscious Mika. [ 22:00, Gehenna Academy ] The gunfire showed no sign of stopping. In the heart of the inferno, Iori and Hasumi were locked in a desperate struggle. They traded blows and shots, neither yielding to the flames surrounding them. But eventually, Hasumi’s physical limits were reached. Her face contorted as she gasped for air, her arms trembling under Iori’s hammer-like strikes. Her hands grew numb until she could no longer hold her weapon. She collapsed to her knees before Iori’s barrel. Iori herself was panting heavily, her body covered in scratches and dust.
Mashiro, seeing her Vice President about to be finished off, aimed her rifle at Iori’s head. But in that moment, she left herself exposed. A shot rang out from City Hall—Haruna’s bullet shattered a window, streaking like a falling star through the wind. it struck Mashiro cleanly, knocking her out of the fight instantly. Inside, Junko, Akari, and Izumi were struggling to hold back C&C. The flashes of gunfire illuminated the dark corridors, but the Gourmet Research Society was being outmatched by the veteran agents.
"Run, Haruna-sama!" Junko cried out in desperation. Haruna looked back to see her friends wounded and at their limit. Though she wanted to fight, Junko’s words carried weight—Haruna was vital to the defense. She shouldered her gun and ran for the upper floors. She hadn't gone far when a streak of blue light hissed past Junko and Akari. Izumi dove out of the way in terror. The blue beam from Karin’s anti-tank rifle slammed into Haruna’s back, sending her sprawling. The sheer force was so great she couldn't even stand, let alone fight. On the rooftop, the battle of the titans had raged for three hours. Hina was fighting Neru, Tsurugi, and the armored Toki simultaneously. She used every ounce of her tactical genius and aerial maneuverability, but against three of the strongest students in the coalition, she couldn't find the opening to use her "three lethal volleys"—the technique that had defeated Mika. Her fire began to falter under the combined pressure of Neru’s twin SMGs, Tsurugi’s blood-mist shells, and Toki’s machine guns.
Realizing she couldn't withstand the concentrated fire, Hina beat her wings, soaring as high as possible to buy time for her ultimate move. Her machine gun glowed like a star, far out of reach of Neru and Tsurugi. But the energy cannons of the Abi-Eshuh were brighter. A beam of energy streaked through the sky, piercing Hina. The numbing pain was beyond human endurance. Her wings failed. She fell, and with her, the morale of the Gehenna students below began to plummet.
"Checkmate," Toki said, opening the visor of her armor.
"Tough... you really are one of the strongest in Kivotos,"
Neru panted, looking at the fallen Hina.
"But... once we beat her, Gehenna will crumble. A-hahaha!"
Tsurugi’s manic laughter filled the silence.? The three were exhausted, their clothes scorched, but they had no major wounds. The Prefect head, however, was covered in blood. Yet, through sheer willpower, she used her machine gun as a crutch to drag herself up. Her purple eyes burned with defiance as the three coalition leaders aimed their weapons for the final blow. Suddenly, a shimmering light appeared behind the trio. They froze. The light coalesced into a black, galaxy-like portal with the sound of chiming bells. It was beautiful but radiated a chilling cold.
Somewhere...
"Uhe~... This old-timer hasn't had enough sleep... let me go already!" From the shimmering portal stepped Hoshino, clad in tactical gear. Despite her sleepy face, she smiled and waved at the battered Hina.
"Is that the Prefect Head Hina? You look quite pathetic—not like yourself at all...~"
"Takanashi Hoshino... don't tell me even you..." Hina coughed violently, nearly collapsing again. "No way, no way," Hoshino waved her hand. "This old-timer isn't the type to join a gang-up like these three."
"Hoshino-senpai, please stop saying misleading things!" As the portal faded, ShirokoTerror stepped out, her black scarf fluttering like a dark omen. She sighed and cocked her rifle, her eyes filled with killing intent toward Neru’s group.* "Remember, we are here to repay a debt."
"Uhe~... I almost forgot," Hoshino’s shotgun clicked as she chambered a shell. "You heard her. I’m helping Gehenna to return a favor, not because I’m siding with that 'Old Sensei'."
"Takanashi Hoshino... and Abydos," Neru hissed, her face darkening. "You refused Sensei’s request... and now you side with Gehenna?!" Tsurugi and Toki leveled their weapons at Hoshino and ShirokoTerror, but the newcomers remained calm.* "Haaa~... It's your fault, Shiroko... I just wanted a good nap and now these three are ruining it." "Come on, Hoshino-senpai," Shiroko Terror smiled thinly. An eerie black flame began to swirl around her, sending a chill down the coalition's spines. "Once we finish this, you can sleep all you want."
"True..."
Hoshino’s shield snapped open with a metallic clang.
"But these three are strong. This might take a while."
"Cough... It won't... I have a way to end this quickly," Hina’s weak voice interjected. She finally stood steady, though her breathing was ragged.
"You two don't need to go all out... just hold them for two minutes. I want to settle this myself... cough!" Hina pulled the lever on her weapon. The enhancement parts glowed a brilliant purple once more, spinning with a deafening roar. Hoshino looked skeptical but understood. ShirokoTerror remained worried.*
"Don't push yourself, Hina... you're hurt. If you keep fighting—"
"It's fine, Oldie Shiroko," Hoshino interrupted. "Do as she says. This old-timer lost to her once, so I know what she's planning. If she gets two minutes, she won't even need us to take them down."
***CRASH! ***
Just as the C&C agents were about to finish the Gourmet Research Society, the windows of City Hall shattered. A hail of glass and a sudden rain of bullets forced Karin, Asuna, and Akane to dive back.
"You guys are..." Haruna struggled up, recognizing the newcomers.
"Shiroko-chan, I’ll provide cover fire, you charge!" Serika shouted as she leaped in, her rifle barking toward C&C. "Copy that, thanks Serika!" Shiroko (3rd year) performed a tactical roll upon landing, using her rifle butt to knock the pistol out of Akane’s hand before putting a burst into the "Cleaner," sending her down.
"How dare you..." Asuna aimed at Shiroko, but Serika was faster, landing shots that took Asuna out before she knew what hit her. Karin realized she couldn't win a 2-on-1 against Abydos and tried to retreat with her heavy rifle. Before she could turn, a barrage of machine-gun fire riddled her position. "Ta-da!~" Nonomi appeared from the end of the hall, her minigun slowing its spin. "Don't leave me behind, you two!" Outside, the tide had turned. Just as Gehenna was about to be overwhelmed by the coalition's numbers, a white light appeared in the sky—not a searchlight, but the flare of rockets. Dozens of missiles rained down like meteors, plunging the Trinity and Millennium ranks into a terrifying sea of fire.
"You like punishing people? Now it's our turn to punish you, you fuckers!" Ayane’s voice came over the loudspeaker of her combat helicopter—the secret weapon of Abydos. As the rocket fire ceased, the coalition began a frantic retreat, but the Gehenna forces pressed the advantage, giving them no room to escape. To seal the courtyard, Ayane fired eight air-to-ground missiles, screaming through the air to destroy the gates and surrounding walls. The resulting wall of flame trapped hundreds of students inside. Then, the 30mm cannon on Ayane’s chopper began to roar, mowing down the remaining coalition forces. Within minutes, the only ones standing in the courtyard were Gehenna students.
On the roof, the sound of helicopter blades told Neru, Tsurugi, and Toki that the battle was lost. Ignoring Hoshino and ShirokoTerror for a moment, they turned to finish Hina. A "Beep" on Neru’s comms stopped her.* "Leader... we... failed. Abydos arrived... we can't hold them!" Akane’s weak voice sent Neru into a blind rage. She smashed her headset and charged Hoshino, screaming as she fired her SMGs. "Dammit! You Abydos fuckers! I'll send you all to the Corrective Bureau! Die! DIE!" ,Her rage meant little against the two strongest students in Kivotos. ShirokoTerror moved like a shadow, her black flames flickering as she delivered a crushing blow with her rifle stock, sending Neru flying back. Tsurugi and Toki entered a frenzy, engaging Hoshino and Shiroko Terror in a clash that shook the entire building.* Bullets flew and energy beams lit the horizon, but Hoshino and ShirokoTerror didn't budge an inch. They remained calm, as if they hadn't even reached their limit.*
BOOM! A massive surge of purple energy slammed into Toki’s Abi-Eshuh armor from behind. The explosion was like a thunderclap. The heavy armor disintegrated into scrap metal. Toki, covered in blood, collapsed in shock.
"Uhe~..."
Hoshino remarked.
"So that powerful shot was why you needed me to buy time."
"Yes..." Hina replied, her body trembling.

Part 8: Make Gehenna Great Again: Act II
[18:00 — Gehenna Gymnasium]
“Sixty-two students unable to fight... one hundred and twenty-five severely injured but expected to return after first aid... two hundred and forty-three with light injuries capable of immediate combat.”
Sena lowered her clipboard.
“Not a single soul returned unscathed.”
The Gehenna gymnasium had become an emergency hospital.
Students lay across rows of makeshift beds. Some were unconscious. Others sat against walls with bandages wrapped around their heads, arms, and legs. Medics moved constantly between them, carrying medical supplies while the distant thunder of artillery shook dust from the ceiling.
Sensei stood silently in the middle of it all.
His eyes drifted across the wounded students.
“My dear students...”
One heavily bandaged student forced a grin.
“It’s alright, Sensei. This was our choice. These scratches are nothing!”
“But...”
Sensei's voice cracked.
“You're only in your twenties. You should be studying together. Eating together. Complaining about exams. Enjoying the best years of your youth.”
He wiped his eyes.
“Not fighting a fucking war against your own classmates.”
Silence.
Hina approached from behind.
She gently took his hand.
“Then you must become a true teacher.”
Sensei looked toward her.
“Only then can we enjoy the peaceful times you're talking about.”
Her grip tightened.
“To make that happen, we'll give everything we have.”
“Hina...”
For a moment, Sensei smiled.
“Thank you.”
Hina nodded.
“Now.”
Her expression hardened.
“Mobilize every Gehenna force. We prepare for the final stand.”
“Yes.”
“One hour?”
“One hour.”
Hina looked toward the ruined windows.
“Intelligence says that if we survive until morning, the real Sensei will arrive.”
Her eyes narrowed.
“And when he does, we'll expose the impostor's bullshit and make him answer for everything he's done.”
[18:40 — Outside Gehenna]
A battered SRT transport vehicle rolled through a ruined side street.
Inside sat four familiar figures.
FOX Platoon.
Yukino stared at a tablet displaying battlefield communications.
“Millennium and Trinity have accepted the impostor's orders.”
Niko frowned.
“That means they're genuinely convinced that Sensei is hiding in Gehenna.”
“Or,” Otogi said cheerfully, “someone is feeding them a load of bullshit.”
Kurumi adjusted her gloves.
“You mean the second Sensei.”
Yukino nodded.
“The intelligence doesn't match.”
She zoomed in on several intercepted messages.
“Real Sensei wouldn't order Millennium and Trinity to launch a full-scale assault against Gehenna while simultaneously ordering SRT forces to remain uninvolved.”
Niko crossed her arms.
“And there's another problem.”
She pointed toward the communications log.
“The orders contain no authentication codes from the General Student Council.”
Kurumi blinked.
“So someone forged the orders?”
“Exactly.”
Otogi smiled.
“Well, shit.”
Yukino closed the tablet.
“We are not attacking Gehenna.”
Kurumi stared at her.
“We're going to help them?”
“Yes.”
Niko smiled.
“Then let's go save some idiots.”
Otogi grabbed her rifle.
“FOX Platoon, moving!”
[19:00 — Gehenna Academy]
The night was eerily quiet.
Hina stood atop City Hall.
Her black coat fluttered in the wind.
Below, Iori commanded the defensive line while Makoto and Kasumi calibrated artillery pieces behind the academy.
Then—
WOOOOOOOOOOO—
Sirens screamed.
Every Gehenna student locked and loaded.
The first Millennium helicopters appeared over the horizon.
Searchlights swept across the academy.
Hina raised her weapon.
“Open fire.”
Purple muzzle flashes erupted across the rooftops.
The helicopters vanished behind explosions.
Then hundreds of artillery pieces answered.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
The coalition advanced anyway.
Trinity formations pushed through the bombardment.
Millennium drones swarmed overhead.
The Gehenna gates became a wall of smoke and fire.
Then—
CRACK!
Hasumi's rifle round shattered the locking mechanism.
The massive iron gate collapsed.
“BREACH!”
Trinity and Millennium forces flooded inside.
Hina's eyes narrowed.
“Damn it.”
Three figures suddenly emerged through the smoke.
Neru.
Tsurugi.
Toki.
Neru grinned.
“So you're the famous Hina.”
Tsurugi laughed.
“AHAHAHAHA!”
Toki's Abi-Eshuh armor hummed.
“Apologies. We understand your strength.”
Her visor illuminated.
“But we require Sensei.”
Hina's wings spread.
“So you're all idiots too.”
Neru raised her SMGs.
“Fuck you!”
Hina opened fire.
[19:30 — Northern Perimeter]
A suppressed shot rang out.
A Millennium student dropped.
Another shot.
A Trinity shield shattered.
Otogi lowered her rifle.
“Two targets down.”
Yukino looked through her optics.
“Don't kill unless necessary.”
Otogi sighed.
“Fine.”
She fired again.
“Three.”
Kurumi sprinted forward.
She slammed her shield into a Millennium student, knocking her backward.
“FOX 3 entering the courtyard!”
Niko moved behind her.
“FOX 2 following!”
She tossed a flashbang.
POP!
Three coalition students stumbled blindly.
Kurumi charged.
“Get the fuck out of Gehenna!”
She slammed into them.
Yukino advanced behind them, calmly coordinating the battlefield.
“FOX 4, suppress the western flank.”
“Already doing it.”
“FOX 3, don't overextend.”
“I'm not!”
Kurumi immediately overextended.
Yukino sighed.
“Of course.”
Niko laughed.
“She's being herself.”
[20:00 — Gehenna City Hall]
Inside the building, the Gourmet Research Society encountered C&C.
Haruna stared at Karin.
Karin stared at Haruna.
Junko slowly raised her rifle.
Akari raised hers.
Izumi raised hers.
Akane raised hers.
Asuna smiled.
“Well, this is awkward.”
Haruna adjusted her glasses.
“You're trespassing.”
Akane replied.
“We're here for Sensei.”
Haruna's expression became terrifyingly calm.
“No.”
She raised her rifle.
“You are here to interfere with dinner.”
Junko whispered.
“Haruna...”
Haruna fired.
The hallway exploded into chaos.
[20:30 — Gehenna Courtyard]
Yukino watched the battlefield from a rooftop.
“Otogi.”
“Yeah?”
“How many enemy units?”
“Approximately three hundred in our sector.”
Yukino paused.
“Kurumi.”
“Yeah?”
“How many Gehenna units?”
“Less than half.”
Niko looked toward the burning courtyard.
“We're outnumbered.”
Yukino's eyes narrowed.
“Then we change the battlefield.”
She opened a secure channel.
“Gehenna forces, this is FOX Platoon.”
Several commanders looked upward.
“Millennium and Trinity have been deceived.”
Yukino's voice echoed across the tactical network.
“The person giving them orders is not the real Sensei.”
Silence.
Then Makoto's voice came over the radio.
“YOU'RE TELLING ME WE'VE BEEN GETTING SHOT AT BY OUR OWN ALLIES BECAUSE SOME FUCKING IMPOSTOR LIED TO THEM?!”
Yukino answered calmly.
“Yes.”
A pause.
“...I fucking hate this timeline.”
[21:00 — City Hall Roof]
The battle had become a nightmare.
Hina fought Neru, Tsurugi, and Toki simultaneously.
Her machine gun screamed.
Purple rounds ripped through the night.
Neru dodged.
Tsurugi charged.
Toki's Abi-Eshuh armor fired.
Hina flew upward.
BOOM!
A beam grazed her wing.
She spun.
Neru appeared behind her.
“Gotcha!”
Hina barely blocked the attack.
Then—
CRACK!
A sniper round struck Neru's weapon.
Neru stared.
“What the—?”
Otogi's voice came through the radio.
“FOX 4.”
Another shot.
“Target acquired.”
Neru immediately dove behind cover.
“You fucking sniper!”
Otogi laughed.
“Thank you!”
Tsurugi charged toward Hina.
Kurumi intercepted her.
CLANG!
Shield slammed against weapon.
Tsurugi grinned.
“Oh!”
Kurumi gritted her teeth.
“You're strong.”
“SO ARE YOU!”
Tsurugi swung.
Kurumi blocked.
The impact nearly sent her flying.
“Holy shit!”
Tsurugi laughed maniacally.
“HAHAHAHAHAHA!”
Kurumi shouted:
“YUKINO! THIS GIRL IS FUCKING INSANE!”
Yukino answered through comms.
“Then stop trying to fight her alone.”
Kurumi froze.
“...Right.”
Niko appeared beside her.
“Need help?”
Kurumi smiled.
“Yeah.”
Niko raised her weapon.
“FOX 2.”
Kurumi raised her shield.
“FOX 3.”
Together—
They charged Tsurugi.
[21:30 — Gehenna Academy]
The coalition began pushing deeper into the academy.
Then a loudspeaker activated.
Yukino's voice echoed through the streets.
“Attention, Millennium and Trinity forces.”
The fighting slowed.
“You were deceived.”
Several students looked confused.
“The person who ordered this assault is not Sensei.”
A Trinity student lowered her weapon.
“That's impossible.”
Yukino continued.
“The real Sensei is currently inside Gehenna.”
A Millennium student shouted:
“Prove it!”
Niko stepped onto a rooftop.
“We will.”
She held up the intercepted orders.
“Your orders were forged.”
Otogi pointed her rifle toward a Millennium command vehicle.
“And whoever's controlling your communications just made one hell of a mistake.”
She fired.
BOOM!
The communications vehicle exploded.
The coalition's command network went silent.
Every Millennium student stared.
Then every Trinity student stared at them.
“...Oh shit.”
[22:00 — City Hall]
C&C was finally overwhelming the Gourmet Research Society.
Junko dropped to one knee.
Akari was wounded.
Izumi was barely standing.
Haruna was down.
Akane aimed her pistol.
“It's over.”
Then—
CRASH!
A window shattered.
Bullets flew across the room.
C&C dove for cover.
Serika landed inside.
“Shiroko-chan!”
Shiroko charged through the broken window.
“Thanks, Serika.”
She slammed into Akane.
BANG!
Akane fell.
Asuna raised her weapon.
Serika shot first.
Asuna collapsed.
Karin raised her anti-materiel rifle.
Then a minigun roared.
“Ta-da~!”
Nonomi stepped around the corner.
Karin's eyes widened.
“Oh, fuck.”
BRRRRRRRRRRT!
Karin dove behind cover.
“Don't leave me behind, you two!”
Serika shouted.
[22:30 — Gehenna Courtyard]
The coalition was beginning to retreat.
Then the sky lit up.
Dozens of rockets descended.
WHOOSH—WHOOSH—WHOOSH!
The courtyard erupted.
Gehenna students looked upward.
A helicopter emerged through the smoke.
Ayane's voice blasted across the radio.
“You like punishing people?”
The helicopter's weapons armed.
“NOW IT'S OUR TURN TO PUNISH YOU, YOU FUCKERS!”
The helicopter opened fire.
Gehenna students cheered.
Millennium students panicked.
Trinity students began retreating.
FOX Platoon used the chaos immediately.
“FOX 4, western exit.”
Otogi fired.
“Blocked.”
“FOX 3, eastern route.”
Kurumi slammed her shield into the ground.
“Blocked!”
“Niko, communications.”
“Already cut.”
Yukino looked across the battlefield.
“Then Gehenna has the advantage.”
[23:00 — City Hall Roof]
Hina was barely standing.
Blood ran down her face.
Her machine gun had become her walking stick.
Neru, Tsurugi, and Toki surrounded her.
Toki's armor was damaged.
Neru was breathing heavily.
Tsurugi was covered in soot.
But Hina looked worse.
Neru raised her SMGs.
“It's over.”
Tsurugi smiled.
“You fought beautifully!”
Toki opened her visor.
“Your resistance was impressive.”
Then—
BEEP.
Neru's radio activated.
“Leader...”
Akane's voice.
“We failed.”
Neru froze.
“Abydos arrived.”
Her eyes widened.
“...What?”
“We're being pushed back.”
Neru crushed the radio.
“Those fucking Abydos bastards!”
She charged.
Hoshino stepped between them.
“Uhe~.”
Neru stopped.
“Takanashi Hoshino.”
Hoshino yawned.
“Yeah.”
Shiroko*Terror stood beside her.
Her black scarf moved in the wind.
“We're here to repay a debt.”
Neru raised her weapons.
“You're siding with Gehenna?”
Hoshino shook her head.
“Nope.”
She raised her shotgun.
“I'm siding with the truth.”
Shiroko*Terror aimed her rifle.
“And right now, the truth is that you're fighting for a fake Sensei.”
Toki stared.
“...What?”
A new voice interrupted.
“She's right.”
Yukino stepped onto the roof.
FOX Platoon followed.
Yukino looked directly at Neru.
“The orders were forged.”
Neru stared at her.
“Who the hell are you?”
“Shichido Yukino.”
Yukino raised her rifle.
“FOX 1.”
Niko stepped beside her.
“FOX 2.”
Kurumi raised her shield.
“FOX 3.”
Otogi casually rested her sniper rifle on her shoulder.
“FOX 4.”
Hoshino smiled.
“Uhe~. More foxes.”
Shiroko nodded.
“Good.”
Hina coughed.
“You came.”
Yukino looked at her.
“We heard the truth.”
Niko smiled.
“And we're not letting some fake Sensei turn Kivotos into a fucking slaughterhouse.”
Kurumi pointed at Neru.
“Besides...”
She grinned.
“I've been wanting to punch you.”
Neru's eyebrow twitched.
“Try it, shorty.”
Kurumi's eye twitched.
“...What did you call me?”
Niko immediately whispered:
“Oh no.”
Otogi laughed.
“She found the forbidden button.”
Kurumi exploded.
“YOU MOTHERF—”
Yukino grabbed her collar.
“Kurumi.”
“LET ME AT HER!”
“Not yet.”
[23:05 — The Final Counterattack]
Hina looked toward Yukino.
“Can FOX hold them?”
Yukino answered without hesitation.
“Yes.”
Hoshino smiled.
“Then we've got our two minutes.”
Shiroko*Terror raised her rifle.
“I'll cover Hina.”
Hoshino opened her shield.
“I'll keep Neru and Tsurugi busy.”
Yukino gave orders.
“FOX Platoon, formation Delta.”
Niko nodded.
“Understood.”
Kurumi lowered her shield.
“Ready.”
Otogi chambered another round.
“Already loaded.”
Hina's weapon began to glow.
Purple energy spiraled around the barrel.
The cooling shroud started spinning.
VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR—
Toki's expression changed.
“That's...”
Yukino looked toward her.
“Everyone.”
She raised her rifle.
“Move.”
Hoshino charged Neru.
Shiroko*Terror intercepted Tsurugi.
Kurumi slammed into Toki's damaged armor.
Niko flanked.
Otogi climbed onto the highest remaining tower.
Yukino coordinated every movement.
“FOX 3, push left.”
“On it!”
“FOX 2, suppress Toki.”
“Got her!”
“FOX 4.”
Otogi smiled.
“Already aiming.”
CRACK!
Her shot struck Toki's armor.
The Abi-Eshuh staggered.
Hina raised her weapon.
The entire rooftop illuminated purple.
Toki's eyes widened.
“Everyone, get back!”
Hina whispered:
“Three lethal volleys.”
Hoshino grinned.
“Here we go.”
Shiroko*Terror jumped away.
Yukino pulled Kurumi backward.
Niko dove behind cover.
Otogi simply smiled.
“Holy shit.”
Hina pulled the trigger.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
A gigantic purple beam tore across the rooftop.
Toki's Abi-Eshuh armor absorbed the initial impact.
Then cracked.
Then shattered.
KRAAAAAAAAAASH!
The armor exploded into fragments.
Toki was thrown backward.
She crashed onto the roof.
Silence.
Smoke drifted through the moonlight.
Hoshino looked at Hina.
“Uhe~...”
She scratched her head.
“So that's why you needed two minutes.”
Hina was barely conscious.
“Yes...”
She dropped to one knee.
Shiroko immediately caught her.
“Don't push yourself.”
Hina looked at the four FOX members.
“You came all the way here...”
Yukino lowered her rifle.
“We came because this wasn't a war between Gehenna and everyone else.”
Niko nodded.
“It was a war created by a lie.”
Kurumi looked toward the burning academy.
“And we're going to end it.”
Otogi looked down at the battlefield.
“So...”
She smiled.
“Who's ready to hunt down the fake Sensei?”
Everyone became silent.
Hoshino slowly raised her hand.
“Uhe~.”
Shiroko looked at her.
“Hoshino-senpai.”
“Yeah?”
“Please don't call it hunting.”
“Why?”
“Because that's exactly what it is.”
Hoshino paused.
“...Fair.”
Neru, still fighting Hoshino, suddenly shouted:
“YOU FOX BASTARDS!”
Kurumi raised her shield.
“OH, SHUT THE FUCK UP!”
Yukino sighed.
“Kurumi.”
“WHAT?!”
“We're supposed to be professional.”
Kurumi stared at her.
“I'm trying!”
Otogi laughed.
“Best operation ever.”
Niko smiled.
“Let's just survive it first.”
Above them, the moon illuminated the ruined academy.
For the first time that night, Gehenna's defenders were no longer fighting alone.
The Prefect Team stood alongside Abydos.
Abydos stood alongside FOX Platoon.
And FOX stood beside the wounded Hina.
The impostor had wanted Kivotos divided.
Instead—
He had accidentally united the people he was most afraid of.
The real war had only just begun.
