He is the son of Wadanohara and Samekichi. He was first captioned as "son" on Deep-Sea Prisoner's Twitter and "Wizard of the Sea" in Deep-Sea Prisoner's blog post. Minami has short messy dark blue-green hair with two longer bangs in the front, raceless white skin and gray eyes. He wears a sailor-inspired outfit complete with a matching cap, suspenders, gray socks, and dark blue Mary Janes. He carries a shark purse with him resembling Samekichi as well. He also possesses a youthful appearance, suggesting he is a young child. It has been said Minami's appearance is akin to his father's. Despite Samekichi being a shark, Minami cannot transform into one. Not much is currently known about Minami, but he appears to be quite cheerful. Minami's personality is akin to his mother's. He is also said to have the pure character of her. Minami is said to be naughty, pure, and energetic as well. He uses the personal pronoun "boku" when referring to himself. Minami has a bad sense of direction as shown in a bonus room scene of the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea -Reboot-. Some of Minami's likes include his mom and dad. He also likes drawing and enjoys drawing with his parents. As he grows older, his parent's cute pure love remains the same, causing Minami to have a tough puberty. If he goes through a rebellious phase, it would be a cute one. On a now deleted Twitter post, Deep-Sea Prisoner revealed Minami was born from an egg similarly to how his mother Wadanohara was. However, he was conceived naturally. Wadanohara is Minami's mother. They are very close and often seen together. Both have similar hobbies, interests, and even similar personalities. Minami is said to be pure like her. On a now deleted Twitter post, Deep-Sea Prisoner revealed Minami was born from an egg similarly to how Wadanohara was. Namiho is Minami's great-aunt. In a bonus scene in the Reboot, she is finally able to meet him and his mother Wadanohara when Samekichi pays her a visit after many years. Namiho stated to Samekichi to bring Wadanohara and Minami around more so she could see their smiling faces. As his father, Minami has made several appearances alongside Samekichi as well as his mother, and it has been said Minami's appearance is more similar to his father's. Samekichi appears to be a loving but worried father to Minami, telling him to not run ahead lest he get lost. Meikai is Minami's grandfather. In a bonus scene in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea -Reboot-, Meikai is shown to make an appearance as a spirit to Minami, who had gotten lost while running around. Meikai walks and talks with him along the way, until Minami can see the castle. Meikai disappears after, and Samekichi finds Minami. It seems Minami is unaware of who Meikai actually was. Killkill is Minami's familiar, referring to him as "young master" or "Minami-kun." They get along well. The precise details of their relationship have yet to be revealed. A quote by Killkill in a now-deleted Sunahama caption of his first appearance mentioned Minami in a suggestive manner, hinting at their dynamic. In Deep-Sea Prisoner's Halloween 2020 livestream, she furthermore answered a Marshmallow question where she confirmed Killkill sexually harasses Minami, but the latter is oblivious to this. It has also been said they take naps together. If Minami were to go through a rebellious phase, he would still turn out okay since he has Killkill. Kras is Minami's familiar, and they get along well. The details of their relationship have yet to be revealed. However, it could be inferred the two are close, since Kras simply refers to him as "Minami" without any honorifics. Sakatsuki is Minami's familiar, referring to him as "young master" or "Minami-kun." They get along well. It has been stated he cares for Minami. Sakatsuki loves Minami in a platonic way; he is very close to and fond of him. Shisatsu is Minami's familiar, referring to him as "young master." They get along well. It has been said Shisatsu makes a big ruckus when giving Minami a ride at super speed. Dolpi and Minami are acquaintances. Although they have not been shown interacting, it is inferred they are close as Dolpi refers to him simply as "Minami." Memoca and Minami can be seen interacting in a handful of artworks - two headers and a Sunahama update from March 18th, 2017 depicting her perched on top of his head. It should also be noted, excluding his father, Memoca is the only one of his mother's familiars he has been seen interacting with so far. The two seem relatively close. Memoca also calls him "Minamin" with her penchant for nicknames. Fukami and Minami are acquaintances. Although they have not been shown interacting, it is inferred they are close as Fukami refers to him simply as "Minami." Fukami cares for Minami like a big brother. Minami is seen holding Nekoyama in a header illustration. It is currently unknown what kind of relationship they have. Being a wizard, Minami is able to perform magic. Being a wizard, he has learnt the ability to fly on a broomstick. Minami likes drawing and enjoys drawing with his parents. Being a wizard, Minami cannot die from natural causes such as aging or disease. >Fukami: Fukami (フカミ) is a humanoid octopus appearing in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. He is one of Wadanohara's current familiars. Fukami has raceless white skin and short light blue hair cut to chin length in a hime fashion. His dark gray eyes are depicted with horizontal slitted irises like a true cephalopod. Alongside his humanoid legs, he has six long pinkish tentacles. He wears a white knee-length navy blue trimmed coat with long sleeves that come over his black-gloved hands. A scarf-like tie - matching the color of the trim - is tied around his neck with a small white anchor symbol embroidery. His pants are black, as are his boots, with decorative non-functional suckers on the side of them. As seen in the manga, Fukami wears a sweater vest with a dress shirt under his coat. In the past, before becoming Wadanohara's familiar, he led a delinquent lifestyle and had long straight bangs that came over his left eye and rough lengthy hair pulled back into a ponytail. From the little we can see, he is suited in a simple black turtleneck. In this particular livestream drawing, he has a small bandage on his left chin to indicate the many fights he's gotten into. Fukami is a quiet, impulsive, and staunchly loyal familiar - often only using few words to get his point across. He has a silent intensity within him that is shown through his glares and actions. Due to his protective nature, an especially violent side of him is displayed when it comes to those he perceives as traitors. At the same time, he doesn't hesitate to put himself in the way of danger in order to defend Wadanohara and his fellow familiars during the Totsusa invasion. Fukami has sharp reflexes with a body that acts faster than his mind. This can be seen positively in the way he embraces Wadanohara with his tentacles while sleeping and how fast he is to catch her when she trips. At his worst, he strangles those he consider to be adversaries such as Samekichi with the intent to kill or maim - only stopping from outer causes. Deep-Sea Prisoner describes him as the sort of person who gets caught between putting his own needs first, and acting without regard for himself. Before meeting Wadanohara, he showed even less restraint in his actions as he used to be "rough around the edges and fought a lot." Fukami is extremely conservative with his outward expressions as he does not smile even if he feels happy or joyful. The only time he smiled was during the second bad ending "Betrayal" in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. He is said to "only laugh through one emotion." Due to being unable to properly express himself, it appears that it's difficult for him to interpret his own or others' desires well. When asking Wadanohara what her favorite thing was, she mentioned that she likes ducks. With good intentions, he proceeded to make a decadent but inappropriately heavy hotpot meal at bedtime. When asked what kind of meat was inside, he answered that the meat was "duck." The next morning, he pondered over what could it be that he's done wrong, suggesting that social situations are not his forte. Fukami can make anything, but his specialty dish is takoyaki. Due to the feelings he possesses for Wadanohara he harbors great jealousy towards Samekichi for stealing her attention. However, he does not act on these feelings without outside interference, even going as far as to comfort Wadanohara in accordance with Samekichi's disappearance in the true end of Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. Fukami used to be more violent than he is now. On the violence chart, he would now fall slightly near Gris in terms of refinement and non-violence. His favorite color is white. His favorite food is a set of tea and sweets and "meat dripping with blood." His specialties are cooking, baking, and octopus punch. After the True Ending, Fukami feels more comfortable and speaks more often than he did before. He is a top. He has a strong yet househusband feel to him. He does not read erotic material. Fukami was born in the sea. In the past, he led a delinquent lifestyle before becoming Wadanohara's familiar after being introduced to her by Memoca. He was the last to join the Sea Witch's group of familiars. Wadanohara is Fukami's master and love interest. He was the last to join her after Memoca and Dolpi. Upon first impression, Fukami initially thought, "Is this kid really the Sea Witch? Why do I have to protect this little brat?" Now he thinks she is adorable. As they spent more and more time together, Fukami became enamored with her. He makes snacks with Wadanohara (and her familiars) in order to get close her. He is deeply devoted to Wadanohara and does not hesitate to inflict violence on those who try to hurt or threaten her. Wadanohara sometimes appears troubled and confused by the things Fukami says to her but still treats and regards him as her friend and familiar. Jealous of Wadanohara's love for Samekichi, Fukami tends to question her relationship with him - reminding her that he is a traitor and therefore cannot be trusted. When Wadanohara and her familiars were in the Witch World, Fukami purposely left Wadanohara’s ocarina behind, a present given to her by Samekichi. Whenever he is near, Fukami will insult and try to injure Samekichi, which frightens Wadanohara. When Samekichi left to avenge his brother Syakesan, Fukami noticed how heartbroken Wadanohara was about him leaving and accepted her love for him. He then comforted her as she cried on his shirt. Memoca is Fukami's friend and fellow familiar of Wadanohara. Memoca first met Fukami while working as a postman. She recommended Fukami to Wadanohara to become a familiar. She said, "He is strong and will be a reliable escort! His personality is a little problematic, but we can probably work it out!" They have a good relationship with each other as Memoca is not hesitant to voice her opinions towards Fukami. When Fukami wondered what he did wrong after cooking duck for Wadanohara, Memoca simply replied, "You suck." Samekichi is Fukami's fellow familiar. Both of them share romantic feelings for Wadanohara, with a one-sided rivalry on Fukami's part. Due to Fukami's jealousy and Samekichi's supposed betrayal of Wadanohara, Samekichi was often brutalized by Fukami whenever the octopus could get his tentacles on him. Though their relationship was rocky at first, due to the mutually romantic feelings they share for Wadanohara, Fukami later accepted Wadanohara's romantic affections were solely for Samekichi. He chose to support her romantic feelings for Samekichi rather than take advantage of her vulnerability. Syakesan is Fukami's enemy throughout most of Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. However, Syakesan likes Fukami "in many ways." In the manga, Syakesan reminded Fukami of the envious and selfish feelings he held for Wadanohara; that it was painful, and unbearable to have his feelings for her grow more and more. Syakesan told Fukami that these feelings for her make him kindred to the rest of the Sea of Death residents. Minami and Fukami are acquaintances. Although they have not been shown interacting, it is inferred they are close as Fukami refers to him simply as "Minami." Fukami cares for Minami like a big brother. Idate and Fukami are acquaintances thanks to the Sea of Death's invasion. Although the two have not been seen interacting directly, Idate would win in a fight. However, he is unaccustomed to tentacle attacks, so the fight would be prolonged if Fukami's tentacles are not destroyed as quickly as possible. As shown throughout Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea, Fukami is skilled in fighting. Fukami s skilled at cooking and baking. Fukami is a good painter. Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Fukami cannot die from natural causes such as aging or disease. Being an octopus, he is able to switch between a humanoid and animal form. Like all octopuses, he has the ability to turn his hair into tentacles. However, he prefers not to. Like most octopuses, he harnesses the ability to mimic. However, he is not very good at it. >Tatsumiya:

Sea of Death: The Sea of Death, also known as the Red Sea, is ruled by Mikotsuhime. It was sealed away by Meikai in order to cease the war between the Blue Sea Kingdom and Sea of Death. Sea of Death inhabitants are half-dead. If one were to step out of the Sea of Death, it would be like dripping blood though with less viscosity. It also has alot of big realistic eyes around this sea. >History: The Sea of Death was created by Mikotsuhime because she was not satisfied with her father's decision for choosing Uomihime as the successor to rule the Blue Sea. After many years of war, the Great Sorcerer Meikai finally made the decision to sacrifice his life to seal away the Sea of Death along with its residents. The Cast Pearl now serves as a protective seal holding back the Sea of Death. However, after being shattered, it is once more unleashed, the secret entrance housed in the Old Sea. >Residents: Mikotsuhime, Old, Sheep, Squid (formerly), Stella, Syakesan, Tsuribari, and many unnamed black monsters/sea creatures Characters: Mikotsuhime: Mikotsuhime (海骨姫) also known as Princess Mikotsu, is a major antagonist in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. She was the ruler and creator of the Sea of Death and sister of Uomihime. Mikotsuhime's appearance was drastically different compared to her sister's, being corpselike and menacing. Mikotsu had raceless white skin and long cobalt-gray hair, her bangs being styled in a hime cut, with her hair tied into twintails. She also had red eyes; her left eye was bandaged due to injury - an injury she suffered over the course of her war against the Blue Sea Kingdom. A prominent fang struck down from the roof of her mouth. Her hands were bony fishtails radiating out from fleshy wrist stumps. She wore a cobalt furisode, shades darker than her hair, with a large ribbon tied behind her back. The collar of the furisode was a pale and dull-like periwinkle, as was the ribbon and hem of the dress. The splitting of the furisode revealed a checkered red pattern. The collar and ribbon of the furisode were lined with white lace, the hem of the furisode having an appearance akin to lace. Mikotsuhime's obi was dark red, with a blood-red line in the middle of it, and a skeletal fish set in the front of the obi. Before her uprising against the Blue Sea Kingdom and creation of the Sea of Death, Mikotsuhime's appearance was different, although possessed many similarities to her appearance after the war. Her furisode was similarly blue in hue to her sister's and her obi had a white fish as opposed to a bony fish. The servant fish on her head was also a normal fish. Her hands were fully fleshed and non-skeletal as well. In the past, Mikotsuhime dearly loved her father and was quite close with her sister. She was happier than her post-war self, seen cheerful and smiling. She was refined and less violent.According to the violence chart, Mikotsuhime would be placed to the right of her sister, fairly refined and non-violent. After Uomihime was designated as heir over her, Mikotsuhime changed; rather than celebrating her sister, she grew envious of her sister's power and sought to claim it. After the war, Mikotsuhime greatly changed. In terms of strength, she and her sister are equal. Mikotsuhime was often quiet, typically having her servant verbally communicate with others. Little remained of Mikotsuhime's personality prior to her war campaign with only vestigial traits persisting. She deeply hated her sister, her envy, rage, and malice towards her sister culminating into an explosive vendetta. Many years passed after their last battle, and Mikotsuhime maintained an obsession to destroy her sister and the rest of her denizens, willing to do anything in her power to destroy, such as corrupting a child. Her hatred and desire to end her sister's reign only grew during her imprisonment. Her strong resentment is what made her the way she was. Even after losing her sanity and falling into madness, Mikotsuhime still dearly loved her father; in prison, she cried out for her father in pain. Though she loved him, Mikotsuhime felt deeply betrayed by his decision to appoint Uomihime as his successor, crying out to her father in butchered speech, asking him why he chose Uomihime over her. At the end when Mikotsuhime and the Sea of Death are defeated, she cries to be very tired and asks to be killed, claiming to finally understand something and apologizing beforehand. Her father was the Sea King, and she was a princess alongside her sister Uomihime during his reign. She was a kind child back then. After the Sea King disappeared into deep slumber, he designated Uomihime as his successor and ruling princess. However, Mikotsuhime could not bear her father's decision, and as a result, created the Sea of Death in order to seize the throne. A quarrel between the Sea of Death and Blue Sea Kingdom went on for years, with Mikotsuhime's opposition gaining favor over the Blue Sea Kingdom, until Meikai sacrificed his life to seal away the Sea of Death, effectively ending the war and imprisoning Mikotsuhime and her underlings. It was said an ambassador from the Sea of Death would appear and liberate it from Meikai's curse, although they did not appear for millennia. Aounabara is Mikotsuhime's father. It is unknown how he feels about her, though Mikotsuhime holds bitter feelings toward him for seemingly abandoning her and favoring her sister over her. While Mikotsuhime is deeply wounded and betrayed by her father for his actions, she dearly loves him, calling out for him while she suffers during her sealing by Meikai. Uomihime is Mikotsuhime's sister whom she despised greatly. Mikotsuhime possessed great hatred for her sister because she was chosen as ruler. Mikotsuhime, jealous and envious Uomihime would become ruler over her, created the Sea of Death in an attempt to wrest rule from her sister. However, she was defeated by Uomihime and her allies, Mikotsuhime and her faction being sealed away by the Great Sorcerer Meikai. While Mikotsuhime held nothing but contempt for her sister, it appeared the feeling is not mutual for Uomihime. In order to keep Mikotsuhime at bay, Uomihime fell into constant slumber herself, as it influenced Mikotsuhime to do so as well. When Mikotsuhime awoke and confronted her sister, Uomi used magic to fend her off. Totsusahime is Mikotsuhime's cousin. Totsusahime has never met Mikotsuhime and does not seem to have known who she was either. Artamos and Kigisu are both Mikotsuhime's uncles. Not much about their relationships is known. Syakesan was Mikotsuhime's underling. Sometime in the past, he joined the Sea of Death and became her ambassador. Being the Ambassador of the Sea of Death, Syakesan betrayed the Sea Kingdom, unsealing the Sea of Death for his princess by exploiting Wadanohara's magic. Tricking the Totsusa Kingdom, corrupting the Sacred Sword, and deceiving Uomihime were all done for Mikotsuhime. When she emerged to the surface after a very long time, Syakesan introduced Wadanohara to her as the "daughter of that cursed Meikai." When killed by Samekichi with the Sacred Sword, Mikotsuhime followed Syakesan to death and died in a similar manner. Old, Sheep, Squid, Stella, & Tsuribary were Mikotsuhime's underlings. Mikotsuhime had an unnamed servant fish residing on her head. The two appeared to be in good standing. Wadanohara was Mikotsuhime's enemy. Before the events of the red sea invasion, Mikotsuhime had not yet met Wadanohara. During her first meeting with Wadanohara, Syakesan points out the fact that Wadanohara is indeed "The daughter of that cursed Meikai… Wadanohara!" Referring to how Mikotsuhime had her sea sealed away by Meikai, Wadanohara’s father. Mikotsuhime appears to not see Wadanohara as more than a curse that was unsealed by Syakesan. Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Mikotsuhime could not die from natural causes such as aging or disease. Being a fish, she was able to switch between a humanoid and animal form. Being a fish, she could naturally breathe underwater. Mikotsu is the only character to talk in butchered sentences continuously throughout the game, using speech such as, "fAthEr... wHy...?" Old: Old (オルド) is one of the antagonists in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. He was a humanoid shark and inhabitant of the Sea of Death. He was also the former familiar of Meikai and father to Samekichi and Syakesan. Old had raceless white skin, messy black hair tied in a ponytail, a dorsal fin on his head, and three large scars on his face over each of his eyes, two on the right forming a cross and upon his left a thick vertical scar. His tail was also badly scarred, covered in nicks and scratches. He wore a long black coat over his shoulders, gray dress shirt, and black tie. His pants and boots were also black. He also wore boxers. When he was young, Old wore a fleece turtleneck button-up jacket with white fur lining, and his ponytail was short and reached just below his shoulders. Instead of three scars around his eyes, he only had one on his right eye. Much of Old's personality before the war of the Blue Sea remains a mystery. In the past, he had a streak of cockiness, believing himself to be the better than Meikai's other familiar Tatsumiya, fit to wield the Sacred Sword. Upon discovering the responsibility would be entrusted to her instead, he became irrevocably wounded. Deeply begrudged Tatsumiya was given the responsibility, Old would come to loathe Meikai and her, leading him to betray the two. Upon encountering Tatsumiya again on the field of battle, Old attacked her with an intense rage for the slight upon his honor. After being sealed with Mikotsuhime for so long, Old no longer held any affection for anyone. The only thing that remained was his desire to avenge himself by harming Tatsumiya for the scars she gave him. In the past, Old was one of Meikai's familiars alongside Tatsumiya. One day, Meikai was handed the Sacred Sword — an item immensely important to the Blue Sea Kingdom — by the Sea King, ruler of the kingdom. The Sea King tasked Meikai with a difficult conundrum; he would have to decide between the two of his familiars which was worthy of wielding the blade. Having believed he would reign superior and be chosen to hold the blade, Old became indignant upon the revelation, instead of him, Tatsumiya would be chosen as wielder instead. Engulfed with rage and jealousy, Old would end up defecting to Mikotsuhime's side. He would later end up battling Tatsumiya, who would go on to leave him covered in his signature scars. Along with Mikotsuhime and other denizens of the Sea of Death, Old was sealed away by Meikai's sacrifice. He was then revived in a different area than the others when Syakesan released the Sea of Death. At some point in the past, Old met Namikaze and ended up impregnating her with twins Syakesan and Samekichi. Syakesan was Old's eldest son, although they do not know of their familial relationship. His father and him bear a strong resemblance to each other along with similar reasons to have chosen to side with the Sea of Death. Samekichi was Old's younger son, although they do not know about their familial relationship. His father and him bear a strong resemblance to each other. The two have both been accused of being traitors to the Sea Kingdom. Tatsumiya makes this connection in the manga when thinking of Old and Samekichi's striking resemblance and seemingly same fate. Samekichi's "tsundere" nature is said to be inherited from his father. Minami is Old's grandson. The two have never met. Meikai was Old's former master. In the past, Meikai had been given a choice to choose between his familiars as to who would wield the Sacred Sword; his ultimate choice was Tatsumiya, causing Old to defect from both Meikai and the Blue Sea in favor of joining the Sea of Death's forces. Mikotsuhime was Old's princess, and he works as one of her subordinates. He is regarded as one of the stronger denizens of the Sea of Death and recognized in this high regard by the other residents. Tatsumiya was Old's former fellow familiar serving under Meikai. One day, the responsibility of choosing the wielder of the Blue Sea Kingdom's Sacred Sword was given to Meikai by the Sea King, with the sorcerer being given the choice between his familiars Old and Tatsumiya. The moment Tatsumiya was chosen, her relationship with Old was permanently shattered, as he betrayed her and their master. Upon being found in the field of battle after Old betrayed her and Meikai, Old viciously attacked her, for the grievances she had inadvertently caused him. Without any other choice, Tatsumiya was forced to retaliate, giving Old permanent scars around his eyes. The two are now mortal enemies, willing to slay the other without any other thought. Old holds an unshakable vendetta against her and desires to watch her suffer for the suffering he was given at her hands. Inversely, Tatsumiya refuses to forgive him for his betrayal, holding no affection for him — partially due to his part in indirectly causing Meikai's disappearance. Old later participated in the Sea of Death's attack on the Blue Sea. He confronted Tatsumiya, saying he was going to get revenge on her for scarring his face. When he went to attack Tatsumiya, he was stopped by Idate. Despite the anger for his betrayal, Tatsumiya seems to hold Old somewhat dear to her despite everything that happened between them, as the manga shows her breaking in tears when Old ignored her calling his name after he had been defeated. She also never forgot about him, reminded of him when Samekichi was thought to have betrayed Wadanohara, comparing the two of them. In a bonus comic in the manga, a glimpse of their past as comrades is shown. Tatsumiya's antennae became tangled, attempting to untangle them to no avail. Hence, she turned to Old for help. However, he ended up making it worse, curling up in shame after seeing the result. Tatsumiya was also shown to understand Meikai's relationship with Old better than himself, who questioned why he sometimes fell asleep resting with Old. Tatsumiya assumed this was a sign of his trust for Old, which Meikai agreed with. Sheep was one of Old's comrades in the Sea of Death. He has been shown feeling confused in their presence because of how touchy the nautilus was getting. Sheep, on the other hand, shows to have an interest in the shark; this could be further proven by the fact Old is the only thing listed in the likes of their bio in the bonus room. They have also been shown in one artwork together. also been shown in one artwork together. Squid, Stella, & Tsuribaria were Old's fellow comrades of the Sea of Death; they have been drawn in artwork together along with Sheep. Namikaze was somehow involved with Old, winding up pregnant by him with Syakesan and Samekichi. The details of their relationship are, however, unknown. Deep-Sea Prisoner has stated she would like to one day write about how they met, though it is "not a nice encounter." Idate was Old's one-time torturer in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. Idate had quickly defeated him after Wadanohara had requested he do this in order to help Tatsumiya. Like Samekichi, Old was targeted by Idate on account of being a shark. Idate had also described Old to be the "wife-beater" type and expressed his distaste in "those type of guys." He was furthermore shown to be impressed by the fact, unlike Samekichi, Old was able to get back up from being beaten and still had energy to fight; in spite of this, their combat did not continue as Idate followed Wadanohara's request to take Tatsumiya somewhere safe. Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Old could not die from natural causes such as aging or disease. Being a shark, he was able to switch between a humanoid and animal form. Being a shark, he could naturally breathe underwater. >Sheep: Sheep (シープ) is a minor antagonist in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea who worked for the Sea of Death. They were a humanoid cephalopod, most likely either a nautilus or ammonite. Sheep's hair appeared to be gray tentacles, and it covered their right eye. Their eyes were red, slightly slanted, and had large bags under them. They also had raceless white skin. On their head was a large spiral shell horizontally striped dark brown and light brown. They wore a black-and-white striped shirt going all the way down to their feet and thus covering their lower half fully. The sleeves of their shirt completely covered their hands, and the stripes were horizontal as well. Sheep appeared to be jealous, gloomy, and rather weak. They conveyed messages indicating an infatuation with their co-worker Old, as they respected him very much and held him in high regard; this can be further seen in having Old being the only thing listed under their likes in their bio found in the bonus room of Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. While they spoke positively, they were shown to be rather sadistic and have expressed that they do not care what happens so long as someone is in writhing pain. Sheep used to be one of the residents of the Blue Sea before joining Mikotsuhime in the Sea of Death. Sheep blames Meikai for "stealing" Old, further implying Sheep's acknowledgement with Old before the fall of Mikotsuhime. Old was one of Sheep's fellow comrades in the Sea of Death. Artworks depict Sheep having an infatuation for Old; this is further proven in Sheep's bio in the bonus room having only Old under their listed likes. They had an unrequited attraction to Old and respected him. Mikotsuhime was Sheep's princess and they worked as one of her subordinates. Squid, Stella, Syakesan, & Tsuribari were Sheep's fellow comrades of the Sea of Death. Meikai and Sheep have never interacted, but Sheep has expressed a dislike for Meikai for "stealing" Old. Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Sheep could not die from natural causes such as aging or disease. Being a nautilus, they were able to switch between a humanoid and animal form. Being a nautilus, they could naturally breathe underwater. >Stella: Stella (ステルラ) was a starfish corpse who resided in the Sea of Death. She serves as a minor antagonist in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. Stella had long brown hair tied in twintails with two gold stars adorning her hair with many red and gold star ornaments at the end of her twintails and raceless white skin. She also had droopy red eyes with eyebags. Her attire consisted of a black dress with white star-patterned cutouts and white undershirt with a turtleneck and long sleeves. A red ribbon was on the neck of the dress and had the same star cutouts on the bottom ribbon; she had a darker larger ribbon with the same style on her back as well. She also wore pale red tights with black Mary Jane shoes. Stella was shown to be apathetic, depressed, and quiet. After losing her fight against Wadanohara and sustaining many injuries, she let out a quiet sniffle before vanishing. She would weakly feel joy and sorrow. She did not seem to enjoy anything and did not have any hobbies either. At an undefined point in time, Stella joined the Sea of Death. However, the implications and circumstances of this are currently unknown. After her defeat in the hands of Wadanohara and her familiars, Tsuribari addressed both Stella and himself as "the abandoned ones." This may refer to the Sea King's abandonment and subsequent banishment of Mikotsuhime and her followers to the Sea of Death. Mikotsuhime was Stella's princess, working as one of her subordinates. Tsuribari was Stella's fellow comrade of the Sea of Death. She was the only one Tsuribari was seemingly able to tolerate, and they were mostly seen together. Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Stella could not die from natural causes such as aging or disease. Being a starfish, she was able to switch between a humanoid and animal form. Being a starfish, she could naturally breathe underwater. >Syakesan: Syakesan (しゃけさん) is the main antagonist in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. He was a shark and former employee of the court, close to Uomihime. He was also the elder twin brother of Samekichi and son of Old and Namikaze. In his shark form, he appeared with red oval-shaped eyes and white pupils. He had a slight blush visible underneath his eyes and almost always smiled. Upon revealing his true motives, the white in his eyes turned black and blood began to drip from both eyes. He also grew four arm-like limbs from below his fins. In his humanoid form, Syakesan appeared remarkably similar to Samekichi. His white hair was slightly long and messy and his dorsal fin protruded from the top of his head. He wore a white suit accented with light gray. Six buttons were visible along the front of his suit. His shirt was dark gray, and his tie was black. He also wore white pants, black shoes, and black gloves. Syakesan would wear tight underwear in a smaller size in order to accentuate his shape. Before he was corrupted, he had blue eyes. In the Blue Sea alternative universe, he wears a gray turtleneck sweater, a dark brown jacket, and light brown pants. Although they are not visible, Syakesan had ears in his humanoid form. Prior to his involvement with the Sea of Death, his nails were blue like his brother. In his shark form, his meat was plump and delicious but may have also been a little too fatty. His hair was soft due to his mother's genetics and prone to getting messy when he slept; it would sometimes look similar to Samekichi's when he woke up. When not groomed, Syakesan looks a lot like Samekichi. At the beginning of the game, Syakesan seemed to have an innocent, kind, and warm personality. Befittingly, it was said amongst his specialties was "having a cute appeal." As seen in a Skeb commission, he uses the personal pronoun "boku" when referring to himself. Syakesan's voice is higher because he has a more excited, high energy personality. However, after he revealed his position as the ambassador of the Sea of Death, his true nature was exposed. He was manipulative, sadomasochistic, and a sore loser when things did not go his way. He had a deep twisted love for Wadanohara, paralleling his brother's deep and honest love for her. He seemed to be quite jealous of Samekichi, saying things such as, "Is he that good to you?" and getting visibly shaken after Wadanohara mentions Samekichi. Syakesan's favorite color was red. His favorite food was seaweed and "sweet white things." He did not particularly care much about food but would often eat sweet things. He was a vegetarian. Deep-Sea Prisoner commented, "If he were to go to a restaurant, he would be the first to order a salad and eat it like it was delicious." Syakesan's hobbies included seaweed gardening, flower care, and cooking. His favorite flower was a star flower found only in the Blue Sea. He was also ticklish and would laugh out loud if he was tickled. Syakesan had several sensitive spots such as his neck, flanks, and tail. Deep-Sea Prisoner commented, "I suspect he's sensitive pretty much everywhere." One illustration states that the base of his tail is an erogenous zone for him. His inner thighs are also sensitive. Syakesan is a switch. He enjoyed cuckolding. He smelled like the sea. Syakesan was a child of Old and Namikaze. He was the older twin brother of Samekichi. He used to spend time with his brother Samekichi until his mother committed suicide, deeply affecting him. After her death, he began to watch over the sea and eventually left his home. At an undefined point in time, while he was still young, he became corrupted by the Sea of Death and became its ambassador. He hid his true nature with a fictitious persona and disguised himself as a regular inhabitant of the Blue Sea. When Samekichi joined the Blue Sea after becoming Wadanohara's familiar, Syakesan greeted him in a way seeming as though he never met him before, disturbing Samekichi in a disheartened manner. During the time Samekichi and Wadanohara were together, Syakesan developed distorted romantic feelings for her, ridden with jealousy. He tricked her into entering the Sea of Death to assault her. When caught by Samekichi during the act, he put a deep curse into Wadanohara's heart preventing Samekichi from bringing up the incident. Upon revealing his true identity to Wadanohara and her familiars towards the end of the game, Syakesan became more deranged, poking at Wadanohara's memory to remember his assault on her and attempting to persuade Fukami to join the Sea of Death. In the end, Syakesan confessed his love for Wadanohara was not a lie despite all the lies he told until then. Upon stabbing Wadanohara with the Sacred Sword and running off, Samekichi followed Syakesan to retrieve the sword and put an end to what he had done. Samekichi was able to have one final talk with Syakesan before leaving him to pass away. Namikaze was the mother of both Syakesan and Samekichi. From both the bonus scene in the Reboot and manga, Namikaze's death deeply affected him. Her death was a major factor in Syakesan's decline to join the Sea of Death. On the night of her death, Syakesan found a beautiful stone on the beach. The moment he saw the shine on this stone, Namikaze ended her life. After her death, Syakesan became incredibly sorrowful and began looking over the sea often. After some time, he left his home and never returned. When asked why Syakesan had such a distorted affection for Wadanohara, Deep-Sea Prisoner responded even though it is hard to tell with the pixels of the game, it can be implied (in the Reboot bonus scene) that Wadanohara may resemble Namikaze. This implies Syakesan could have had a strong affinity towards his mother. Old was Syakesan's father. However, Syakesan was not aware of this. Samekichi was Syakesan's younger twin brother. Despite being twins, they have different voices and speech mannerisms. They used to spend time together when they were younger and were both miserable when their mother passed away. After Syakesan left home, Samekichi promised Namiho to bring him back no matter what. However, when greeted by Syakesan into the Blue Sea after becoming Wadanohara's familiar, Samekichi could not bring himself to say anything to him. Both developed romantic feelings for Wadanohara over time, though only Samekichi was receiving her continuous attention and affection. Syakesan was aware of this and became extremely jealous, asking, "Is he that good to you?" when Wadanohara called for Samekichi's help during her assault. He further states he should have killed his brother when given the chance and that taking pity on him was a mistake. A spell was later cast on Wadanohara to lock away her memories of her assault; this forced Samekichi from mentioning any of this to her lest it break her. Towards the end of the game, when Syakesan stabbed Wadanohara with the Sacred Sword, Samekichi took her blood and went after his brother to put an end to what he had done. The two are briefly able to talk before Samekichi retrieves the sword and leaves Syakesan to pass away. As Samekichi walks off, Syakesan comments that he is an idiot before apologizing. Minami was Syakesan's nephew. The two have never met as Syakesan died before his birth. Namiho was Syakesan's aunt. She took care of him and Samekichi when Namikaze passed away. After Samekichi pays his aunt a visit, Namiho is seen speaking in front of her sister's grave, commenting Syakesan is an idiot even after seeing he had a brother who cared for him. She then tells him to rest in peace with his mother. Wadanohara was Syakesan's love interest, though one-sided. Both were on good terms with each other at the beginning. Underneath his guise of being one of Uomihime's retainers, he was actually the Ambassador of the Sea of Death - a person foretold to destroy the Blue Sea Kingdom - and used Wadanohara in his plan to do so. He attempted to assault her once, casting a curse on her after the attempt that would wipe her memory and destroy her if she remembered the incident. Syakesan, like his twin brother Samekichi, was in love with Wadanohara, albeit in a twisted way. In one of the endings of Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea, it is implied he sexually assaulted her, which later resulted in her becoming a Red Sea denizen herself, and it is seen from various mini-comics that they are lovers in this timeline. Mikotsuhime was Syakesan's princess. When she emerged to the surface after a very long time, Syakesan introduced Wadanohara to her as the "daughter of that cursed Meikai." Fukami is Syakesan's enemy throughout most of Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. However, Syakesan likes Fukami "in many ways." In the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea manga, Syakesan reminded Fukami of the envious and selfish feelings he held for Wadanohara; that it was painful, and unbearable to have his feelings for her grow more and more. Syakesan told Fukami that these feelings for her make him kindred to the rest of the Sea of Death residents. In the normal and true endings as well as in the manga, Fukami eventually resists Syakesan's persuasion and chooses to remain loyal to Wadanohara, knowing it would not make her happy if he did follow Syakesan. Shisatsu was Syakesan's very good friend. Syakesan once asked Shisatsu to help Wadanohara. After Syakesan revealed his true nature, Shisatsu was disheartened to learn Syakesan was the Sea of Death's ambassador. Besides Wadanohara, Shisatsu was the only one Syakesan truly cared about. Helica was Syakesan's former fellow employee of Uomihime's court. In the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea manga, Helica was enraged about the Totsusa attack. Syakesan tried to calm her down, but she hit him on the nose, yelling and offended that he was not mad too. Syakesan briefly appeared later with a bandage in his nose because of this. When Helica kissed Pulmo in a drunken state, Syakesan looked at them confused. After the reveal of Syakesan's true nature, he became Helica's enemy. Syakesan is Pulmo's former co-employee of Uomihime's court. Prior to the reveal of Syakesan's true nature, they were on good terms. Pulmo once smiled at him while he cried after being hit by Helica. In the manga, in celebration of Wadanohara's successful repairs of the barrier stones, a banquet was held within the Sea God Castle. Syakesan asked Pulmo why Helica was already drunk, to which Pulmo replied that she could smell the alcohol. Afterwards, when Helica kissed Pulmo while drunk, Syakesan looked at them confused. After Syakesan's true nature was revealed, he became an enemy of Uomihime's court, including Pulmo. Tatsumiya was Syakesan's fellow employee of Uomihime's court before the reveal of Syakesan's true nature. They were on seemingly good terms as Syakesan pretended to care for Tatsumiya. When the banquet in celebration of Wadanohara's success was held, Syakesan was named the coordinator, though a villager in the room said it was actually Tatsumiya who did most of the organization. Tatsumiya later proposed a toast to Syakesan, to which he reacted with surprise and sadness in the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea manga. During a flashback sequence later in the Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea game, Wadanohara found Syakesan stuck in one of many chests. After he got out, he explained that Tatsumiya had asked him to sort out the empty chests. Tatsumiya later asked him whether he had completed his task, which he had not. Later, when the Totsusa Kingdom invaded, Syakesan falsely offered to try and stop the soldiers approaching the Sea God Castle, which concerned and worried Tatsumiya. She accepted his offer with a grimace, showing she cared about his safety. After the reveal of Syakesan's true nature, Syakesan became Tatsumiya's enemy. He later revealed that he had poisoned her before the events of the game because her intuition was too good. Syakesan was good at long-distance swimming. Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Syakesan could not die from natural causes such as aging or disease. Being a shark, he was able to switch between a humanoid and animal form. Being a shark, he could naturally breathe underwater. >Tsuribari: Tsuribari (釣針) was a resident of the Sea of Death. He serves as a minor antagonist in Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. Tsuribari had raceless white skin, short messy blonde hair, and black deadpan eyes. A large silver fish hook protrudes through his head, staining part of his face and hair with blood. He wore a white collared shirt with a red bowtie, black suspenders attaching to black puffy shorts, white thigh-high socks, and black Mary Jane shoes. Stoic and dingy, Tsuribari was generally contempt with everything around him and had shown a reclusive nature in order to avoid most people or any form of social interaction. He favored staying silent with a conjecture the other party would misunderstand or outright reject his words and was always thinking of cursing and tormenting people. He viewed fighting as a wasted effort but eventually pitted a fight against Wadanohara and her familiars after running out of options. Tsuribari was not easily intimidated; after losing a battle, he was mostly unconcerned by his defeat and simply vanishes. His hobby was reading in quiet places. He liked books and hated fishing. Tsuribari was a pitiful boy who died in the sea. After his fight against Wadanohara, he somberly accepted he, who had been abandoned, was simply no match for those who are chosen. Based on official artwork, he was originally a resident of the Sea Kingdom. Mikotsuhime was Tsuribari's princess and he worked as one of her subordinates. Stella was Tsuribari's fellow comrade of the Sea of Death. She was the only one whom he was seemingly able to tolerate, and they were mostly seen together. Wadanohara was an enemy of Tsuribari. When Tsuribari asked her whether she is right or not for she does not know the past, her familiars dismissed him for attempting to confuse her. He proclaimed he was not, and merely wanted to ask, before deeming his hate for the situation and agreeing with Stella regarding the uselessness of it all. They do not seem to have any particular opinions of each other. Like most non-human characters in the Deep-Sea Universe, Tsuribari cannot die from aging. *** Totsusa Kingdom:
