Races Undead Humans Cursed Netherkin Territory Winterclad Reaches Netherbane Territory Relationships Alliances Unburnt Rebellion Enemies Nether Horde Lush Cave Marauders Piglin Kingdom

Membership Leader Rain Wynter Kane Members Stella Ciara Associates Zeganirn † Lance Nostra The Endstone Crusaders is an alliance between Rain, Stella, Kane, and Ciara. They were formed in "Be Afraid" to help the Frostbourne find the End Crystals. This quest is the main storyline in Season 3, which is named "Endstone Crusaders".

Rain and Stella of the Frostbourne and Kane and Ciara of the Netherbane joined together to fight against the Nether and locate the End Crystals for the Frostbourne, before the Nether found them. They called themselves the Endstone Crusaders.

The Endstone Crusaders went to the Piglin Kingdom to get the first crystal from the Piglin King. In the process, they wiped out a bastion and the royal guard, while Ciara killed the King. Their actions caused the kingdom to collapse into a civil war.

Kane and Ciara tracked down the next crystal to Pillager Town. Kane fought the Pillager King for it, but unintentionally destroyed it. Meanwhile, Rain and Stella teamed up with Nostra to obtain another crystal from the Deep Dark. The fourth and final crystal fell into the hands of the Wither Angels. Its accidental destruction indirectly caused the resurrection of the Nether Princess.

With two crystals in the Frostbourne's hands, the Endstone Crusaders regrouped at the Netherbane Tavern.

First of them is Kane.

(Aliases The Netherbane Captain Boss (By Baator Basaltwalker) Pale Man (by Urgrakk) Lord Kane of the Lagurus Clan)

Faction Netherbane (captain) Endstone Crusaders Lagurus Clan (Leader) Illager Coalition Role Major Protagonist (Fractures) Main Protagonist (Tales of the Netherbane)

Species Human (Formerly) Undead Human (Totem)

Kane is the Netherbane's captain and founder, forming the faction sometime before the Nether Horde Nether Horde invaded the Overworld in the first season. He runs the organization from his tavern in the Swamp and maintains an interdimensional intelligence network. In order to save the life of Ciara, he suffered his first death as a consequence for fighting Lance with The Nether Princess. This incident led to him arising as an Undead Human through use of a Totem of Undying.

Following a word of warning from the Nether Princess about a "demon witch", Kane threw himself into becoming a key player in the Nether–Overworld War. He planned the Unburnt Rebellion Banner Unburnt Rebellion and subsequent alliances across the free world, including with the Frostbourne Banner Frostbourne, Soulsand Servitors Banner Soulsand Servitors, and Illager Clans. Kane co-founded the Ender Watchers Banner Endstone Crusaders with Rain Wynter, Ciara and Stella, all with the purpose of beating the Nether Horde Nether Empire to the End Crystals. After Klaus is killed, Kane assumes leadership of the Lagurus Clan.

Design Kane is a man in his mid-thirties who originally had pale skin, black hair and black eyes. After his revival, his skin gained a light gray complexion, with purple eyes with white pupils replacing his original eyes. His hair has grown long on the right side of his face and completely covers his right eye, greying in the process. Kane is the tallest human character.

Whilst working in the Taverns, Kane sported a black-and-white bartender uniform.

Prior to Season 4, Kane was usually clad in his specialty Netherbane uniform — a red-brown leather gambeson with light cyan shoulderplates, black and cyan rims, leather boots and a large, black belt with a silver buckle resembling the outfit of Pillagers[4].

In his revised design, Kane added a black leather jacket over a newer Netherbane uniform, acquiring black gloves and combat boots to complete the look.

Kane's arsenal originally consisted of a cleaver and an arm-mounted crossbow. Following the events of Eternal and Fine Right Here. he acquired a pistol with a golden barrel and a netherite battle axe respectively.

Kane is best described as calm unless the situation does not favor him, where he can become rash and blinded by anger. In Nightmares, it is shown that he has some degree of care and trust towards Ciara, as he tries to convince her to return the gold she stole from Piglins, and chases after her when she goes to attack them. He was also able to stop her from chasing after Stella when they found her at the Coven Village.

Skills Compared to the other crusaders, Kane isn't magically gifted nor has any unique powers.

Kane is an expert marksman and can aim even whilst on horseback, and favours a pistol and mounted crossbow. As he is ambidextrous, Kane can shoot with either hand. He is strong in close combat and is armed with a cleaver. After being bested by Rain, Kane trained hard in secret. He can now easily win against the Dragon Tamer in unarmed combat.

Kane's main strength lies in his apt social intelligence. He is a skilled negotiator, managing to turn even the bloodthirsty Nether Princess to his goals by playing on her fear of losing her crown. Rainimator has described him as 'street smart' and 'charismatic'. He may also be an experienced brewer, due to his presumed expertise working as a barkeep in the Netherbane Tavern.

After he resurrected himself with a totem of undying, Kane can now near-indefinitely revive himself if he falls to his wounds[1]. However, if he is decapitated, or attacked by End Magic, he will die permanently.

Stella the Enchantress is the deuteragonist of Fractures (seasons 2–4). She is voiced by Eileen Montgomery. Stella is the last surviving member of the Coven, a clan of witches with prowess for the mystic arts. Skilled in arcane magic, Stella left her secluded village to help end the Undead War, and was instrumental in the Frostbourne's final battle against Herobrine.

Joined by Rain, Stella journeyed back to her village and discovered the Coven had been wiped out in the war. As the Nether War began, Zeganirn appeared to warn them that they were being hunted by the Nether King and stayed behind to buy them time. An assassin failed to kill them but managed to poison Stella, turning her into a Netherkin. Her mental faculties were restored by Zeganirn in his dying moments. Rain and Stella later formed the Endstone Crusaders with Kane and Ciara, helping the Frostbourne fight back against the Nether. On their adventures together, Stella developed a relationship with Rain.

Design Stella wears a black, knee-length dress and socks, and long black gloves.

Up until Wishing Dead she wore a witch hat. In the events of Wishing Dead she gained long fangs and red horns. She is taller than Ciara but shorter than Ceris, Azura and Kane. In Wishing Dead she has red stripes running down on her cheeks.

Since Be Afraid, her dress become shorter and she began to have her hair tied into a ponytail.

Stella began as a mage in the Overworld Coven, a witches' guild within the Mystic Forest. She departed from her home to fight against the Undead Banner Undead with the Frostbourne Banner Frostbourne and prove herself to the Ender Watchers Banner Ender Watchers.[3] However, when she returned with Rain to the Coven Village in order to find a cure for the latter's curse, Stella was aghast to learn that a pyromancer skeleton had destroyed the Coven, leaving her the only known survivor.

Stella now embarks on a journey alongside Rain Wynter and the Netherbane, helping to stall the Nether Horde Nether Horde's conquest against the Overworld and find End Crystals hidden by Ceris.

Personality Mysterious, optimistic, and observant. Her bright personality boosts morale of people around her.

Through her observant and optimistic nature, she is able to easily sympathize with others. A novice mage, she is naturally inquisitive and intrigued by the mystic arts and potion brewing, discovering ancient spells with her enchanted books and reading them; she can, however, be quite naive, and puts others first above her own safety, such as Zeganirn. Thanks to her inquisitiveness, she knows a bit of information about End Crystals, which can help the Endstone Crusaders in the future.

She is also shown to have a slight stubborn streak, as she tries to convince Ser Patrick and Rain Wynter - who is notoriously stubborn - to listen to her. She seems amused by such heated, meaningless arguments. She is never really angry for long, as she is always seen in a bright, cheery mood, even if someone has hurt her emotionally.

Skills She is fluent in reading and translating enchanted books into raw forms of power, allowing her to cast arcane blades, arcane beams, lightning bolts, and spell shields that can adapt into many situations of battle."

Stella is profound in magic, being able to cast an array of spells, often drawn from the book she wields. She is skilled with close combat, as demonstrated against Blackbone in Goodbye, and can cast Portals to the Nether and End (albeit incomplete). Her magical potential is such that she may one day be a threat to all dimensions.

Her arsenal of Magic Skills Included:

Barriers Arcane Beams Arcane Blades Arcane Bullets Lightning Whip Spell Portal Creation Spell (Nether Portal Spell and End Portal Spell) Frost Walking TNT Ignition Telekinesis—she has not reached her full potential in this: that would entail being able to choke and crush targets at least. Degree of Teleportation Magic Wither Cure Spell (Wither Heart) Pyromancy

When wielding the power of an End Crystal she gained the following powers as she used it, overpowering and killing a warden in a duel of magic, though the strain left her unconscious:

Self-levitation Mastery of Arcane Beam In addition to this, her half-Enderkin side also gifted her greater speed, strength and durability compared to normal humans, originally on a lesser scale. After her transformation into a Netherkin in Wishing Dead, she has gained faster reflexes, more strength and the ability to utilize fire in her attacks, similar to Abigail Crysteffor. She can also now hold her Arcane Blades and use Telekinesis offensively as seen in Falling.

Rainimator mentioned on the Discord that despite her perks of being a Netherkin/Enderkin, Stella is weakest in close range combat. Furthermore, these traits combined enabled her to overcome Nether corruption in a way Abigail could not.

Weapons During the series Stella, as a main character is the second character who has cycled through some weapon changes. These weapons include: Stella’s Book - Goodbye to Wishing Dead Wither Book - Wither Heart, and Preach to the Choir only Arcane Blade - Falling only Lance's Book - Be Afraid to Present

Rain Wynter - known as the Dragon Tamer and The Enderchosen - is the main protagonist of Rainimator's Fractures. He is voiced by Lost Compositions.

An ordinary human from the village of Glacierford, Rain lived an ordinary life with his friends and girlfriend, Abigail Crysteffor. This peace was not to last, as an infection soon swept through the village, heralding the Fall of Glacierford and the arrival of the Undead Banner Undead. Rain was the last of Glacierford's living residents to be infected, separating him from his girlfriend and drawing the attention of the Frostbourne Banner Frostbourne.

Through a scientific experiment headed by Lady Azura, Rain was fully revived as an Undead Human. Swearing loyalty to the Frostbourne, he fell under the apprenticeship and protection of Patrick Wynter. Sometime after his revival, the mysterious Ender Watchers Banner Ender Watchers attacked the Frostbourne Castle, leading to Rain undergoing a trial of worthiness to tame The Dragon. Following his success, the two factions joined forces and launched the Battle for Glacierford, which was both a success and a failure. He rectified his failures in Glacierford by eliminating the Greater Blaze, the Pig King and The Nether Princess in a solo mission to the Nether. Rain's actions directly caused the Nether Civil War and the end of the Undead War.

After the Nether conquered New Dragonspire, Rain became the Last Ender Watcher. Following the Nether invasion of the Overworld, Rain started the Frostbourne-supported Ender Watchers Banner Endstone Crusaders with Stella - his future girlfriend - and Netherbane members Kane and Ciara. Together, they seek to gather as many End Crystals as they can in order to fight back against the Nether Horde Nether Empire.

Design As a child, his human appearance hadn't changed, however he wore a blue and white sweatshirt with long sleeves.

In his debut, Rain appeared to be a young man of average build and height; among his physical traits were navy blue eyes, ruffled dark hair and a consistent tan skin tone. He was normally seen wearing a blue jacket with a Creeper insignia and a white undershirt, with dark pants; this was bloodied when he fought off the zombies. He is taller than Abigail, Ciara and Stella, but shorter than Kane, Patrick, Ceris and Naeus.

As a zombie, Rain gained black eyes with blood-red pupils and was bloodied in appearance, as was common for zombies. Much of his hair was absent, and his movements were stiff and cold, in perfect synchronisation with the Zombie Horde.

After his revival, he gained a violent red left eye with a bio-luminescent effect, and his hoodie became more armored, on the behalf of the Frostbourne, for battle. He also frequently wore the bulky Ice Armorset until Just So You Know, a hardened blue armorset with blue, orange-tinged fabric. As of Wishing Dead, Rain gained a scar going through his left eye due to Djinn's slash agaunst him, and his Ender Eye, which possessed white pupils with a magenta sclera, would frequently appear in his left, as a side-effect of the Ender Greatsword.

With the Season 4 redesigns, Rain's outfit was significantly overhauled. The Enderchosen now sports a purple-tinted armorset laced with black trailings and adorned with a tiny purple gem, all in all reminiscent of the Gatekeepers ruler. Besides that, his scar has noticeably healed, fading out with time.

Undead War Rain hails from the Frostbourne border village of Glacierford, where he spent most of his life. His domestic situation there, or who his parents were, are unknown. He eventually began a relationship with his childhood sweetheart, Abigail Crysteffor, ("Clear Skies") a refugee from the Undead War. ("Demons") When they were both 19, the Undead overran Glacierford. Mounting a failed escape, Rain was infected by zombies, and Abigail was killed. ("The Struggle")

As a zombie, Rain was found by Patrick Wynter, a Frostbourne Knight, who was scouting the site of Rain's last stand. Sensing that the zombie had only just turned, Patrick took it back to the Frostbourne Castle, where Rain was resurrected through clever machinery developed by the scientist Azura. Adopted by Patrick, Rain Wynter trained extensively to become a warrior. The Ender Watchers Banner Ender Watchers, soon after, attacked the Frostbourne Castle on suspicion of necromancy. Amid the chaos, Rain infiltrated the End and managed to tame the Ender Dragon, leading to the cessation of hostilities. ("Cold as Ice") Accepting Rain as one of theirs — the first human Dragon Tamer — the Ender Watchers united with the Frostbourne, an alliance that would soon win the Undead War. ("Goodbye")

Riding the Dragon, Rain fought in the failed battle to retake Glacierford against the Undead and the Nether Horde Nether Horde. Viewing his retreat as dishonorable, the Ender Watchers disowned Rain as a deserter and renounced his right to the Dragon. ("We Are the Danger") During the battle, Rain dueled with Abigail, who had been resurrected and brainwashed by the Nether as their princess. ("Begin Again") Heartbroken, he impulsively stormed into the Nether King's palace and slayed both him and the princess. ("Just So You Know") For days, he was trapped in the castle, fighting for his life as the Nether, lacking a king, collapsed into civil war. Naeus, the warlord who trained the princess, intervened to save the warrior, hoping to make Rain his "Nether Prince", but Rain refused and ran away from him ("The Last Ender Watcher" prologue). Without any allies, the Undead fell to the Frostbourne. ("Goodbye")

However, despite the threat of death, he was ultimately saved in unknown circumstances by the Royal Advisor - Naeus - reunited with Lady Azura in a twist of fate. His stay would be short lived, as he was forced to embark on a journey for the Wither Heart Curse's cure with Stella, eventually finding one. After the Battle of New Dragonspire, he was entrusted the Ender Greatsword after Ceris' defeat, and would begin his journey to become the true Heir of the Ender Watchers, with Stella, Kane and Ciara as his primary allies.

After gaining two of the End Crystals with the Endstone Crusaders and Lance's help, he underwent the process of End Crystal attunement. His first attempt ended with failure, in part due to his lingering traumas and grief that had been misplaced on Abigail. After clearing out illusions of Scorch, Glutton and Herobrine, he realized the root of his depression - the guilt over the life that was taken from him and his friends by the Fall of Glacierford. Forgiving Abigail's illusion - and Abigail herself - he succeeded in attunement, and now prepares to fight the Horde head on.

Personality Admant and serious in nature. He's very demanding and dislikes it when his strength is underestimated. He is also very reckless and easily driven by emotion.

Adamant, fearless, and emotionally reckless, Rain is a young man defined not only by his resolve, but by his traumas.

Rain's most prominent trait is his undying determination to protect his people and fight for justice. Rain is very compassionate and protective when it comes to his friends, especially Stella and Abigail Crysteffor, risking life and limb to ensure their safety. His compassion is often exploited in moments of desperation, but it tends to backfire on those who try to persuade him against his chosen path.

Rain's dark side lies in his rage, manifesting as callous, ruthless aggression bordering self-destruction. In these states, he is not above causing permanent, irreversible damage to his enemies, such as that he inflicted on Djinn. When forced to, he can forgo his compassion and hurt those he loves, including his previous girlfriend. These incidents have left him with a short fuse and heavy depression, leading to him attempting to isolate himself from others with limited success.

Despite all his woes and obvious survivors' guilt, he does strive to heal and move forward in life. Through the encouragement of Ciara, he has slowly found acceptance with the end of his previous relationship, further going on to recognise that his unfulfilled wishes were what truly held him back.

Skills Has lightning-fast reflexes and is a very skilled melee combatant. His dual diamond swords allow him to deliver deadly flurries of blows that pierce through even the most toughest of armor.

Originally, Rain was a standard human without any form of magic, though he was notably very skilled with a sword. His rudimentary sword skills and latent agility allowed him and Abigail to fend off Herobrine.

After his Frostbourne revival and training, his swordsmanship was strengthened, aided by a Cryomancy-infused sword and armor. After his taming of the Ender Dragon, he was granted the title "Dragon Tamer", recieving further training from the fabled Ender Watchers Banner Ender Watchers.

After he received the Ender Greatsword and an End Blessing, his strength, durability, speed and power increased drastically. Alongside this, Rain slowly grew compatible with magic books, wielding the Wither Book to restore Stella's humanity when she was afflicted with the Demon Curse. His magic compatibility also allowed him to use Anti-Magic, freeing Ciara from a rather advanced spell.

During his mission to recover an Ender Crystal from the Wardens, Rain unlocked his power as an Ender Watcher, manifesting an armblade and teleporting out of the way of attacks.[4] After his attunement to the End Crystal, Rain was able to manifest Arcane Wings, now able to freely trigger his empowered state whenever he chooses.

Weapons During the course of the series, Rain has cycled through the most weapon changes out of all the characters as the main protagonist. These weapons include:

Standard Iron Sword - The Struggle only. Ice Sword - Cold as Ice to We Are the Danger. Based on the Legendary level weapon Ice Shard Frost Bite from the Hypixel Minigame Warlords. Standard Diamond Swords - Just So You Know to Wishing Dead (dropped) Beacon Gun - Just So You Know only. (exploded) Wither Book - Ender Wish onwards Ender Greatsword - Wishing Dead onwards Based on the Standard Greatsword from Darksouls II/III. Djinn's Knives - Wishing Dead only. Ender Armblade - Preach to the Choir onwards. In non-canonical media, he has also been spotted with the Diamond Spark - a weapon from the Hypixel Warlords pack.

(Fourth member Ciara the netherbane cutthroat)

Aliases The Netherbane Assassin Faction Netherbane Ender Watchers Banner Endstone Crusaders Role Major Protagonist/Anti-Heroic (Fractures) Main Protagonist (Tales of the Netherbane) Species Human (Formerly) Undead Human (Totem)

Age 19 Born October 31st Gender Female Sexuality Bicurious/Biromantic Status Alive (revived) Past Deaths Stabbed in the chest in a duel against Abigail Crysteffor (Nightmares)

Height 170cm (5'7) Skin tone Tan (formerly) Light grey Eye color Hazel (formerly) Electric Blue Hair color Dark brown (formerly) Dark grey

Ciara (/sɪˈɑːrə/), the Netherbane Cutthroat, is a Netherbane assassin and Kane's partner. She first appeared in "Wishing Dead" and is voiced by Aryn Rozelle. An agile and ruthless fighter, Ciara is an undead human, only able to be killed by decapitation or strong magic.

Ciara was slain by the Nether Princess after trying to assassinate her lifelong enemy, the Piglin King. Kane was forced to form a truce with the Princess by helping her defeat Lance, after convincing the Princess he would invade the Nether. Afterwards, Kane revived Ciara with one of Lance's totems of undying and gave her Lance's karambits, a pair of knives which can teleport its user when thrown. When Kane and Ciara joined the Ender Watchers Banner Endstone Crusaders, she finally got the chance to kill the Piglin King.

Ciara is a short female - shorter than Stella - who originally had brown hair and hazel eyes, with tan skin. Her outfit in both iterations is composed of a red plaited top with short grey pants[1], and black boots with red laces. Her former weaponry in this time included a katana and a pair of knives.

Upon her revival, her skin turned grey, her hair noticeably darkened and her eyes turned electric blue; traits of a Totem-revived Undead Human. The only other thing that changed was her weapons (the original were lost in the Nether), taking Lance's karambits for her own.

For the Season 4 redesigns, Ciara's overhaul is remarkably more effective for her combat style. The Cutthroat now sports a red, checkered corset, black armguards and pauldrons of leather, a red hair clip, and grey pants with red stitching along the sides. A blackened scar is visible across her abdomen as a result of Klaus' stabbing her with his armblade during the events of Already Dead.

Personality Ciara is a listener. She has heard countless of stories from chatting with many other people in taverns she visited. The dragon tamer's story, however, is none like others, and it piqued her interest. She may offer some advice and words of comfort for her fellow broken undead.

Ciara is initially portrayed as an overconfident, stubborn, and sassy fighter, who is focused on finishing her task without any remorse for whomever she slays, and no matter the cost. Because of this, it made her extremely close-minded, as she was unable to realize Stella is fully human by the time she fought her, and caused her to ignore Kane and his voice of reason. Ciara is also prone to underestimating her enemies, not helped by her unhealthy sense of pride, which has ultimately cost the Cutthroat her life in one such encounter.

Prior to her final battle with Porkshire, Ciara had shown hints of being a decent person deep on the inside, being able to gauge someone's worry or distress rather quickly (EG: Rain in Cold as Ice: The Remake). Most of her more positive traits become more apparent after the death of Porkshire, including a willingness to connect with others on a personal level (EG: Rain and his relationship with Abigail). However, since she is still new to this, it can be perceived as meddlesome to those who knew her prior to killing her nemesis.

Skills Her discipline with blades made her one of the Netherbane's finest demon hunters, perfectly capable of clearing bastions on her own.

Ciara is shown to have prowess in close combat fighting, utilizing her karambits and their abilities to their full potential. She is capable of teleporting through use of her karambits and with ease and has higher pain resistance than most, a trait seemingly shared by Undead Humans. Ciara is skilled in ambushes and the art of distraction, preferring the shroud of nightfall, stealth and swiftness; she usually disarms her opponent or forces their weapon back before swiftly executing the killing blow whilst they are still exposed. However, with no exploitable vulnerabilities or exposed areas, she usually falters in the game of endurance, before she accidentally falls to the same tactic she exploits with such effectiveness. Her teleportation can catch her opponents off guard, however, and she can clear entire bastions with ease.

It is revealed in Nightmares that Ciara actually once bore the Katana and knives used by Djinn in Wishing Dead. Her skill level in combat is shown to allow her to massacre the Piglins, kill General Tusk, and hold her own, even going so far as to wounding Abigail Crysteffor.

Weapons During the course of the series, Ciara has cycled through three weapons in particular. These are;

Katana - An iron bladed katana wielded by Ciara prior to her death against the Nether Princess. Later found and utilised by Djinn. Ciara's Knives - A pair of red-stained iron throwing knives wielded by Ciara prior to her death against the Nether Princess. Later found and utilised by Djinn. Ender Karambits - A pair of ender pearl infused, blue bladed karambits wielded formerly by Lance. They were given to Ciara after her revival.
