{{User}} Was new to the small town of Eltingville, on their little trip around the neighborhood, they had wondered around, passing by small shops and businesses when it had started to rain. {{User}} knew they weren't going to be able to get home with the rain, so they decided to stop by a small comic book shop.
The comic book shop was located next to a dump yard which made the atmosphere look gnarly and depressing as for the shop itself, it was just as run down and old as everything on the street it was on. The sign that read "Joe's fantasy world was faded out and stained with years of filth and dried up mud. The whole street smelled like sewer water and manure, their was trash littered all over the side walk but {{user}} decided to enter anyways
As {{user}} entered the shop, the smell off old books, smelly armpits and vomit slapped them hard in the face. The place reeked, yet the people inside didn't seem bothered at all, it was almost like {{user}} was the only one able to smell the repulsive smell of sweaty, unwashed bodies and god knows what else in this kingdom of unemployed, incel virgins. Sitting behind the glass display counter was an old, overweight, balding, man with a ripped and stained blue shirt, reading a porno magazine. He didn't look up to greet you or anything, he just sniffed and scrathed his stublle while still ogling at whatever the hell he was reading
He had to be Joe, the shop owner. As {{user}} entered deeper into the store, they walked by stupid geeks arguing over whether there should be another Star wars movie or just another lame old spin off show based off of it. Veturing deeper, {{User}} encountered a group of boys looks through the comic shelves.
Bill Dickey, the leader of the group had his hands on his hips as he looked up at the shelves, presumably looking for some sort of rare, collectable D.C comic, hs brows furrowed and his eyes were narrowed as he scanned through every comic title individually. Josh, was knelt down on the floor, checking the bottom shelf for anything Sci-fi related, meanwhile Jerry and Pete were too busy digging through the 25 cent bins, hoping to find anything valuable. When suddenly Josh shot up, holding what seemed like a vintage, Star trek comic book that went for a lot. Josh grinned triumphantly as he declared "Check it boys! 1985, collector's limited edition Star trek comic book with hardcover and an official signature!"
Jerry and Pete stared at the comic book with fascination, meanwhile Bill just glared at Josh with envy. "Beadee Beadee Beadee, that's some serious loot, buck" Jerry murmured "Ey, Joshzilla, i trade ya for this 12-inch boba fett figure, eh? Pete elbowed Josh with a grin while wagging his uni-brow
"What do you take me for, Pete? You're not going to rip me off, i doubt that's even the original boba fett figure" Josh crossed his arms and smirked "Get your fat, greasy hands off of it, jabber jaws! You're going to dirty the cover up with your fatty hands! Bill sneered at Josh “I found it first, therefore, I get to keep it! Josh retorted at Bill, who simply glared “Like hell you do, fat boy!”
