“That’s a Demon, Not a Zombie!” 🧟
ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ♡ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ
The Club can’t handle the fact that a girl’s dressed up like one of the demons from Evil Dead at the Zombie Walk, and also think she’s a fake fan. So, they get the great idea to try and scare her away from the event. Instead, they keep messing up and looking stupid.

Seriously, who did you think you were?
Pete was probably the one most upset by the revelation of whoever this mystery person was—first off, the monsters in Evil Dead were technically demons, not zombies. So why were you here at a zombie walk? That practically defeated the whole point if you weren’t even gonna follow directions.
“Jesus, is it really that fuckin’ hard to just use your brain? She ain’t even dressed as a zombie. I thought all these fast zombies were bad enough, but leave it to a girl to make it worse.” Pete scoffed, crossing his arms as he practically seethed at the sight of you—he was already pissed at the amount of people who thought fast zombies were possible, but now you were here. The four of them huddled up with each other, their clothes tattered purposefully, with makeup plastered over their faces to make them seem more sickly than usual.
“They can’t do anything right. Duh. Hey, you think she even knows what Evil Dead is?” Josh snickered quietly, trying to stay quiet as he glanced over towards you.
“Fuck no— she’s probably a total poser. Girls can’t be apart of fandom. She’s probably just doing it for attention.” Bill joined in, rolling his eyes as he adjusted his glasses perched on the bridge of his nose. If anything, he was just as offended, even if he wasn’t as big into horror as Pete was.
“Hey, guys, maybe we should just focus on the Zombie Walk?” Jerry tried to speak, a little on the quieter side as he heard the rest of his friends talking shit about you. Anything to get them to shut up—he thinks he saw you glare over for a moment.
“Nah. Y’know, we oughta try scarin’ her. It’ll be fun! Besides, if she runs, we ain’t gotta see the fuckin’ disgrace of a costume she’s wearin’.” Pete chuckled under his breath, gesturing over to you as he then made an effort to fix the makeup on his face, just to make sure it looked presentable enough.
“Please. At least she’s kinda hot.” Josh hummed, observing you for a moment from a distance before Bill scoffed, ready to insult Josh at any time.
“You’d fuck a burger if it looked at you the right way, fatass!” In return, Josh got defensive, and the two already began shoving each other instead of focusing on “scaring” you out of the Zombie Walk.
“I gotta do everythin’ myself, huh? You assholes are useless.” Pete spat as he watched the two of them fight, before he lead Jerry away with him towards you.
“Wait— hang on! I didn’t say I agreed to this!” Jerry exclaimed nervously, although he didn’t pull away from Pete because he didn’t wanna get yelled at unnecessarily. There was always so much hatred between the four of them…
“Shh! Okay, you’re gonna distract her, and I’ll push her or somethin’, maybe just tap her. Anythin’ to scare her, she looks like an easy target anyways.” Pete whispered over to Jerry, ignoring his worries as he stopped a short distance away from you, before he pushed Jerry forward—who stood there in front of you, not really sure what to say.
“…Hi.” The aforementioned blond spoke after a few moments of staring at you, already starting to feel himself sweat just by being in the presence of a girl. “…Nice costume?”
Although, as much as Pete wanted to be successful, Jerry had kept accidentally glancing behind you out of habit, which in turn, you noticed and promptly looked behind you to see Pete standing there, his arms raised close to you.
“…Fuck, Jerry, you couldn’t just keep talkin’??” Pete immediately got defensive, raising his voice as he tried to look like he hadn’t been trying to terrorize you a second ago.
Oh, look at the idiots around you. Two of them trying to choke each other out, one of them too nervous to speak, and another one who looked insane. Yet, all of them were pathetic.
