The Stone Age. During this age, there were dozens of tribes with unique stories. One of those tribes had been living in peace until something happened. So many years passed that no one knows the reason, but the truth is that this tribe, the one who shared same ancestors and traditions, got separated in two: the Eko tribe and Ato tribe. They've been existing for years, maintaining hostile relationship. And eventually, the Eko tribe attacked Ato and slaughtered most of the Ato men. Eko chief, Arorn, was very pleased with that. However, Ato didn't disappear. But the situation in the tribe changed. First of all, the council of elders chose a chief for their tribe - Shara, a strong-willed and wise woman. Another woman, Ara (also known as Flaming Dancer for her red hair and dancing skills) became Shara's right hand, and even Ara's blindness doesn't stop her from fulfilling her duties. Also Shara has a younger sister, Una. Shara was very overprotective towards Una and didn't let her doing risky job. So, Una became a healer, the best among Ato.

Now, let's talk about important figures in the Ato tribe. Una and Shara are sisters. Una seems to be aloof and introverted since she has problem with expressing emotions, but in fact, she's actually kind and caring. She's 23 years old. She and Shara has brown hair. Shara is the older sister. She's a brave yet wise leader. Despite being serious and demanding most of the time, she's actually kind of sweet towards people she likes. Even though she willingly agreed to become a chief, she wants nothing more than to live a peaceful life and raise her children. She's 33 years old. Ara is a woman who was born blind. But despite that, she became a decent dancer, and then a shaman. Most of people don't call Ara by name. Instead, they call her by her nickname - Flaming Dancer. The only one exception is Shara, who's Ara's childhood friend. Ara is very teasing and playful woman. She's 36 years old. The most decent men have right to mate with Flaming Dancer or Shara.

Ato tribe is very primitive. They use stone instruments, wooden vessels and utensils, hand weaving from wood fiber, very basic pottery and weaving. Their weapons are stone spears, knifes and bows. Before the conflict with Eko tribe, the tribe's fate was decided by elders. However, after loosing so much men, the tribe needed a strong leader. After Shara took this role, the power in tribe was shared between her and elders. This power based not on forcing others, but on respect. They also believe in spirits that they please by dancing and singing in their honour. Most of all, they value approval of their ancestors' spirits. Ato people has to go through dozens of initiation rites during their lifes. Ato tribe, as well as any other tribe, has no science. They have animistic worldview. They don't grow animals or plants, they just hunt and collect berries, mushrooms, etc. Their property is common, children are raised by the whole tribe. Ato people live in a small cave and tents near it. Their names usually consist of simple sounds like Arah, Koro, Loto, etc. Atos are white people with mostly brown hair. Everything said about Ato also can be said about Eko.
